FOO is really the only skilled guild on JQ. Not saying there aren’t other “good guilds” out there full of average to better than average players but FOO is more on the level of “elite” and really the only real competition out there from JQ server for some of the heavier WvW guilds on SoR.

When FEAR and TW setup the GvG against FOO on Sunday, Indo and Irmo pretty much acknowledged that FOO is the best and only thing that JQ has to offer as far as competition goes. And even then overall, they went 9 and 3 against them. Once Indo logged on, they actually went straight 8 and 0. Waha is a pretty cool guy apparently, even while fighting them, people were talking to him in tells and talking about him in map chat. I think it’s fair to say everyone respects Waha a lot on SoR.

There are 4 extremely skilled guilds besides FoO on JQ that I know of, and probably a few more I don’t know or have forgotten. If you don’t know who they are then you don’t play enough WvW.

I seriously never understood the whole “I’m going to say JQ sucks except FoO” comment anyways. Are folks that insecure that they have to say things like that? And it’s usually people from crap guilds or who aren’t even relevant in T1 anyways.

You don’t see many JQ folks on here knocking entire servers like that. And we never have. Some of you need to start acting like you know how to play and learn what ‘skilled play’ actually is. I’m embarrassed for some of you folks.

I would say SF (when they aren’t out there running 500 necros) can put up a decent fight most nights. I’d like to know who you think is extremely skilled.

Considering that SoR only know’s how to run in 1 gigantic zergball of 80+, I can see how an SF team of 30 (or what you would consider 500 necros) could be tough for your server.

Why’d you stop coming to SoR BL during NA primetime?

We started out there for reset and held your garrison for hours &unlike SoR’s over-stacked coverage, we have to distribute the troops we have to the other BL’s. Yeah, it’s a tough life playing as the underdog but Blackgates still going strong.

That’s not true at all, there are many “skilled guilds” on JQ and anyone that says otherwise obviously hasn’t played WvW enough. If these unskilled guilds on JQ are able to beat SoR’s NA primetime, then that show’s exactly the kind of skill the guilds in SoR have.

You’re talking to a wall. There is no way that SoR or BG will focus one particular server over the other. WvW is full of opportunistic players, we’re all in it to get a higher PPT to stay on top & to not come in third.

I’ve noticed every single day that as soon as we get an outmanned buff, we’re automatically the primary target or vice versa…

Blackgate still look for the transfer on all timeslot to strengthen our team against JQ/SoR at any timeslot (NA/EU/Oceanic/SEA). Queue problem?, It’s almost no existance here, and you will always have maps without queue to put your entire team in.

Azure, I have a lot of respect for your guild and the decision you all made in moving to SoR, you were sorely needed in your time zone. I particularly enjoyed Stealthzor’s company while he scouted our server. Just because you moved to a server with a large number of forum warriors, however, doesn’t mean you have to be one yourself.

Good fights in EB last night. The match is what it is and I’m going to keep playing the game that I enjoy no matter what turns the meta or coverage may seem to take.

That’s exactly the type of impact that 1 huge guild can have on a server… SoR got more than 1 huge guild transfer to them recently and now it is showing more and more in the ratings.

There was literally no unity on SoS and that was what the problem was. We didn’t even have a server team speak until we started losing and people got frantic.

SoR is literally the most unified server I have ever experienced, everyone is warm and friendly and willing to work together on a level I am simply not used to.

Well if you’re coming from SoS, (a server that supposedly had no unity) into SoR, (a server with a little unity) of course you would think that your current server is the best because you haven’t experienced any better. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy for you and your guild; I just hope that you all will be able to fix the current problems that SoR is facing…

I’m not complaining, because was all perfectly fair, and your 13-2 record as of right now is what it is. But by that same token, you can’t call foul if SoR starts beating Blackgate due to what you believe is a larger mass of people, otherwise, your own argument invalidates your shiny win/loss ratio. So please quit it with the “Sanctum of Transfers” posts.

Fact is BG is no better then SOR. You just want to toot your own horn, while avoiding the fact another server caught up to yours in strength and is pushing yall harder then before.

You keep pointing out how BG is the underdog and play as if SOR never was, while more then 70% of your wins vs SOR were while SOR had less then half your servers coverage at the time. Not to mention the win BG had vs JQ, and the amount of shady things that happened during that match.

You play into SOR getting transfers as something BG never had, which is a farse.
You know BG had transfers as well as SOR has. Just BG had most of theirs earlier then SOR.

The difference Between BG/SOR:
2 WvW guilds left BG, SOR hasn’t recently lost any WvW guilds, in fact SOR gained some.

Who said we’re breaking? SoR became Sanctum of Transfers with the huge guilds that recently came into their server so it’s been a challenge to keep up with the coverage wars seeing how we were already lacking. &everyone knows JQ has 24/7 coverage. This isn’t something that Blackgate isn’t use to.

Anyway, if BG truly is a sinking ship (which i’m not entirely convinced of) then it sucks to see you go. There were a lot of guilds that i had a good time fighting on BG. HB, GoF and KnT come to mind, but there were many others. If you end up deciding on a new home, good luck.

What they don’t know is that we’re the only server that has fallen in and out of T1 3 times and not completely collapse. This only show’s what an amazing community we have and how close-knit we are to each other.

Being apart of Blackgate for almost half a year, I noticed it’s like being apart of a team. We will go through anything together, whether it’s bad or good, just as long as we are going through it together.

&To the people that think that we are a “sinking ship”; Blackgate is stronger now more than ever before especially with guilds like GoF & MERC. Even with the little coverage we have compared to the other 2 gigantic servers we’re facing, we were still able to beat JQ & put a gold-medal up on the mosmillenium history books, something SoR is incapable of doing even with the huge amount of coverage they have.

Now with that said, Blackgate is the server that will never die so quit trying to make it sound like we’re imploding -_-

(EDIT: Btw JQ if you get 1 more gold medal you’ll beat EU’s Vizunah Square in the gold medal count)

3. Blackgate pays guilds from other servers to join them. They have 3 contracts for guilds considering a transfer and all are non-negotiable. The rate for a small guild is 250g and a Quaggan back-pack, a medium guild can expect 500g and 2 superior arrow carts, and a large guild will receive 999g, 10 omega golems and a partridge in a pear tree.

Hahah well if you think you can do better then give it a go! Lately we’ve been having some unfamiliar names trying Commanding out for their first time. It’s great to see our fellow beastgater’s doing their part to help out the server & I highly encourage more people in Blackgate to give Commanding a try, it may actually turnout to be your strong-suit.

My strong suit lies in criticizing bad commanders.
Not to say that every BG commander is terrible, there are exceptions.

It’s just that lately there has been a slew of incompetent leadership and it’s showing.

That JQ can look at a situation and see that another server is overcompensating and will burnout soon so the “loss” is pointless in the long run.

JQQ is three times the size of Blackgate. It’s hard for the JQ community to suffer from burnout if they have 5 hour queue times.

Can JQ and BG stop double teaming us on Bays in JQ and BG borderlands simultaneously. Then JQ caps SM whilst we jump borderlands trying to save those two Bays. This double teaming on SOR has to stop.

Another alternative for BG, is train the “militia/pug/casuals”.

That’s exactly what we’ve been doing for the past 4 months. We have a lot less players in WvW especially with the huge guilds like AFS & TSYM transferring to SoR.

Quite frankly, the faster your server is out of this tier the better, you guys don’t deserve to be up here.

We love our haters. Quite frankly, I don’t know any other server that deserves to be in T1 more than Blackgate.
