DesertRose could we get a source on that I cannot find that info anywhere and I don’t think its accurate. If I am the only one firing at something (player or mob) I see larger chunks come out the more I’m firing, same goes for the similar jellyfish ability which is sort of a aoe rapid fire.

there is a VERY long thread on this already, but yea im now waiting onmap completetion for 2 bugged skill points. This one and the Skritt King in Tarnished Coast Borderlands in my WVW

I love axe/warhorn, its my main weapon combo when out in the world and by far the best for events… you know actually hitting things before they die It is also great for killing multiple mobs while kiting.. yes occasionally I pull an extra mob but that has never killed me * knock on wood *. The buff is great for movement around the map and dps, and we can’t forget the birds!! great for single target damage and funny as hell on a spark mob =D

He cannot be fought or interacted with

I had an idea that may help with some of the dress and duster style armor and I am sure a lot of people would agree. They flare too much away from your rear.. in the cutout in the whispers coat I can swivel my camera around and see all the space between my rump and the coat and it makes no sense.. I know almost all of my weapon clicking with my armor involves this one thing. I realize it might not be a simple fix but I bet it you put a poll up more ppl would like it to lie flat than the bubble butt thing going on now. I think everyone who I know that said they didnt like those styles.. that was the one reason : /

edit: found another issue, I just noticed on the log in screen as I have my shoulders hidden. The Emblazoned Shoulders(lvl 80 exotic LW crafted) float really high off the body.. even with normal armor this would look odd.

for about 2 days now, maybe 3 about every 3rd line spoken by the npcs in the story has no voice over. This is occuring in low lvl quests, instances and even happened in the very last personal story.

my friend saw EVERYTHING in the tooltip as chinese until she left her personal story then I found these later

Exactly the oposit … Longbow is the 100b warrior, you have 1 skill that does damage (2) and then your auto attacks don’t do any kind of damage.

Actually many ppl are whinning about longbows on the forums .. Just stating the obvious here and i’m getting called uneducated. Anyway, I’m out of this thread.

errr and 3 which does decent damage and makes you DO more damage, then you have 4 which is like the best thing ever.. you know how bosses have STACKS of cc immunitity.. yea save this for when they go down and stop someone from getting killed.. yea it does damage too.. oh and 5 our best aoe(if you dont look at the cd wink)

I use the elite spirit and its great, I can even rez myself by activating it right before I go down. My spirit can keep EVERYONE alive while fighting the Claw of Jormag in Frostgorge(pulse of +480 to his -400 pulse!). I agree they are squishy and they shouldnt be THAT squishy with such a long CD(I have the same complaint for necro pets). personally I run signets, 2 for me(stone and wild) and the third I swap out for the grp either renewal for condionion heavy fights or search and rescue for fights that ppl get killed in easily. I agree with the trap builds but traps just dont work well with my build.. and thats great that we do have so many options =D

Sorry this is all jumbled but yea spirits need work, they arent a very good option for slot skills but the elite is great IMO, but I would say he dies prematurely around half the time(I have learned where to place him and this is still the case because of random aoes).

IMO throw in some valkyrie for vit for PVE but tbh wvw is a whole other animal. PVP is almost always different stats because players do not act like mobs.

here is me and Bob, whispers coat, hood, legs with the HoM boots and gloves with my guild bow =D

Qtin you are obviously trolling… as for on topic I agree I think the shortbow is cute and all.. but yea I dont want rainbows all the time =P and the Longbow however much it reminds me of my old vanilla WoW bow/staff its not that interesting.

axe is amazing aoe, especially when having to kite around. I use axe in any event except for the barrage from time to time when I can get one off =P plus you have two great options for off hand, axe or warhorn. Warhorn buffs you and others and axe OH gives you a really fun up close aoe ability.

Not a bug but an inconsistancy of the set. You can see that the Whispers Coat has a triangular cutout below the waist area(or small of back or top of butt =P w/e you want to call it) but the whispers leggings waistband interferes with this. The front of the whispers leggings have a cuttout to accentuate the design as seen in the second pic.

I am not sure if this has been said or not but the tattoo set for Norn in the below pictures look very low res or crayoned in on the arms and face. The back is beutiful and very sharp but those arms.. and the face too.

I think it should be different because I think that a player being silly or stupid and spamming is WAY different than a hacked account botting/spamming. There really should be a different option for “gold selling” bot does not fit because you can not SEE them botting, you dont know for a fact that they are and scam doesnt work for the same reason.. they might actually be a gold seller that wont steal your account…. I hope that no one tries but it doesn need to be clearly defined and for now the only one that does so is spamming

I actually have had this happen.. even weirder is last night my husband and my character did this in the same direction at the same time.. no there was no fear or knockback. It happened in Honor of the Waves story mode and he actually went off the ledge because of it.

this is probably the case for others but rarely are anyone able to access ANY guild upgrades or set up upgrades in Lion’s Arch.. move zones and all is fine. Yesterday I reported a lost 24s on influence drinks that did nothing.. come to think that was in Lion’s Arch also. I wonder if most of the issues being reported are only happening in Lion’s Arch.

Just wanted to add this is not just a low lvl thing, our grp did two high lvl story mode dungeons last night and it was the same.. about 1 in event 3 bits of text the voices are missing.

ever since the last patch I miss about 1 out of every 3 sentences. Part of it seems to be an issue with using my vent key which is my middle mouse button.

out of curiosity are you in Lion’s Arch? I found that starting yesterday I could not use guild upgrades or set up future upgrades in LA.. leave there and everything works fine.

I would think it is supposed to be like it is in GW1 were it said who it belonged to.

thank you Lauren, please get the Norn cornrow hair added to the list, I know I personally didn’t mention it. Its such a cool hair style, especially with the same tattooing that Eir has as the tats are shown on the head.

I just bought 1 Drinks on the house and 2 toast to the guild and although my character got some sort of credit from achievements the guild received no influence from these. So I am out 24s.. and my guild is out 120 influence. I realize this is pittance but at this stage of the game every little bit counts.

Just a note my guilds influence was going up during this process (me buying them and then finally reporting it here) so its not like its lag or the guild is stuck.

on Norn females the medium Whispers Coat and Heritage Boots detach the head from the neck behind the ear while standing still but while fighting or dancing its nearly a floating head! i verified by removing ALL equipment, even jewelry and weapons and narrowed it down to those two. I has a friends try them on at least other norns, male is unaffected but this was duplicated on the other female.

also: I dont have a screen shot but the female(and human) hairstyle with the cornrows leading to long flowing hair cuts into the shoulders quite a bit.

hun.. wow has worse bugs for a month after every patch. Hell wow has bugs that hinder ppl for many months! Like the ones that made hunters need to remove all gear and re equip anytime they entered a zone or the one that made you unable to craft more than one item at a time because of set bonuses.. that one lasted about 15-16 months.

STILL bugged in Dragonbrand

They still havent responded to my ticket on this from 8/31.. and they CAN give items back as they did it for one of my guildies who lost his digital deluxe items. I have lost a set of greens and yellows to this bug.

On my own glitch it seems to be a female norn issue. Unless those in trade were not being honest or didn’t understand where the glitch was. I was able to have a friend on a Norn duplicate the glitch

anyone else? I know humans and sylvari were complaining about the CoF set. Can we get some pictures?

Blood I dont know what you mean about beta as even in your pic its not a bald eagle.. but please fix the two/three pets that have incorrect icons and looks! Blad eagle/hawk and the Marsh drake.. which really should be the scaled drake the picture shows!

Yes, I’ve tried using this ability before while doing dynamic events in the open world. Sometimes it will completely fail, other times it will rez the npc way far away instead of the player laying right next to me. =(

THIS x 1000 please! It’s a quality of life issue but very annoying. I realize this is probably far down on the list of things to fix, though.

I agree. This breaks immersion so much. I love making my pets personal and disappearing pet names is bad. Also, in the pet management screen, you should see all your pets by their pet names, not “Juvenile” whatever.

Ill add this here as well although I have another thread for it. Search and Rescue is sometimes not working. I used it more than twice in a personal story (the big dragon on claw island) and the two times I used it during the actual dragon fight the pet would just so hover over my friends body and not do anything. They stopped attacking but just wouldn’t rez her.. and because of where she died I ended up soloing the dragon for her…

anyone else? can I get someone else to duplicate my issue?

!! located the issue! Its the boots with the coat that breaks my neck. With one or the other the neck is fine but with it breaks.

oh! related.. can we PLEASE have a scaled drake like the icon shows instead of the ugly Marsh drake?

if the pet swap is on cooldown you cant switch them.. I dont know if this helps or not.

I use the skill Search and Rescue from time to time in dungeons and just now helping a friend in her personal story.. well I needed it when we fought the dragon in the battle for claw island quest and she got stomped(literally) and when I used the ability my pet just hovered over her, not ressing and well not doing anything. This happened twice in the same fight.

I used it earlier today to res an NPC and it worked fine. I might have even used it in the same instance.

I haven’t had one problem with this skill can you offer more info?

I am having a similar issue starting today with my whispers medium armor chest piece(Whispers Coat) on my female Norn.
I also have the dark/meshy neck with my town cloths on as Liliana Moore has.

I have had a ticket regarding this since 8/31… nothing and they even closed my ticket! had to reopen it. I have had this happen once with lvl 45-50ish yellows and once with much higher lvl greens.

I agree, the only reason I didn’t roll my favorite class (the ranger) is because of the annoying pet.

Edit: And to the poster above, you are weakening yourself by stowing the pet. What OP asks is an option to not use the pet and scale the ranger’s damage accordingly.

you are weakening yourself by playing a pet class and not using the pet but the option IS there and as others have said you should in no way be rewarded for not using your profs basic ability… do necros get rewarded for not using their showform thing or thieves? Do they get rewarded for not stealing? Use it or dont… no need to get special treatment because you dont like the prof you chose.
