Basically humans like to take land from other races. In my opinion the centaurs are completely justified for being kitten but I still like playing my human.

I’ve always been confused as to why the T2 Asura weapons are Sylvari Racial weapons. :/

I have an Asura Engineer and I was looking through the armour, planning for her higher level, and I haven’t really found anything that looks really Engineer-y.

Could people give me some advice for armour? I have piles of Transmutation stones and I’d like to get a really Engineer themed look. I’m going for Flame thrower for my weapon, so something that looked good with that would be cool.

The Sylvari in the grove that is related to the refugee event has some really pretty armour. Anyone have a clue of what it all is? Pictured below.

Is it not possible to go to these places yet? And if so, does that mean that there will be future expansions that will open these places up?

For my necro I picked the darkest green/black skin tone, chose a medium green for the pattern and then chose lime for her glow.

I know that the top is racial armour, not sure what Tier, though.

There’s another pale tree somewhere in the world, you even meet a Sylvari that is from that tree if you choose a certain option in character creation.

Just turn shaders down.

It’s like this for me, too. And if you equip shoulders that aren’t in the set, even if you aren’t hiding them they don’t show up.

Well, there is a Mesmer skill that gives you a boon every 10 seconds. That might be why you hear your mesmer blather on all the time.

No cool armour yet, so here’s my low level Guardian Eluned in her town clothes.

6/10, it’s a medium rating because it doesn’t really match the naming conventions, but not too low because that just seems like fun to say!

The Overlords is a small, casual guild, looking for players of any skill level, race, or class.

Alright, so in the Grove, the upper commons, there is this male Sylvari named Mentor Arduine. He’s obviously male, and when he talks in the little world events to other Sylvari (if you catch him at the right time he’s teaching a bunch of saplings about Ventari’s teachings) he has a male voice. But if you go up and talk to him he has a female voice.

Is this happening to anyone else, or is it just me? I’m on the Sea of Sorrows server so it might only be on my server, I don’t know.

I’ve added a screen cap so you guys can see that he’s obviously a guy.

Well, another thing to do is change the lighting on the kit screen. It’s a little light bulb icon. Forrest Green and White are good for contrast if you want to check if the glow is working.

My two main Sylvari are both female. I like names that start with the letter A so I have Awyne and Amarwen. I went for something that sounded sort of Irish. I also considered Aisling(pronounced Ash-ling), which is a Gaelic name.

The kits seem to be working fine for me. Make sure you have glow turned all the way up maybe? It’s also good to choose contrasting colours for glow if you really want them to show up.

Hi, My guild The Overlords is on SOS, and we’re relatively small and casual. 20 or so members right now. Not everyone is on at all times, but I’m on relatively every day. We only use Skype or Mumble every once in a while, but it’s usually just between two players. If you’re interested let me know. Our guild is small and we’re hoping to get more active players.

My mesmer at a lower level then she is now.

So my Sylvari has bright red eyes, but unless she’s glowing they just appear as black pits in her face. Is anyone else having this problem?

Myko Meowmeow. Female ranger belonging to ash legion! Her entire creation based off my own cat my adorable fluffy blue-eyed Siamese mix talkative kitty ^^ I named him Myko! And he doesn’t stop meowing!

Umbra is an old word for Shadow or ghost.

I give it a 5/10, though. I would rate it higher if I had a backstory or some such for it.

Just got my Sylvari T2 armour and not really liking any colour combos I’ve tried. It seems this armour works best with just one colour. Could people post screens of their T2 armour and the dyes you’ve used?

Mine is below…I’m still not happy with it.

I was thinking it would be cool to have a mini slot on the character tab. Since you can only have one out at a time anyway.

In Guild Wars 1 my friend told me that on your birthday each of your characters gets a random mini. Is this in Guild wars 2 as well?

Level 30 norn ranger and her Bear.

You can always save up gold and transmutation crystals if you really care all that much. Try going to every major city and getting the 100% completion, that usually gives you crystals and then you can have any armour look however you want.

My mesmer at level 62, just got her racial armour.

I’ve never seen anyone with an Oglaf username before.

I’m playing a new character, low level, 15-20 area female Elementalist. I’m trying to find some cool looking armour so if anyone can post sceencaps or just armour names that would be nice.

Mainly I’m looking for something that looks good with the shoulders I have right now.

10/10 I think. I love oriental names, so I’m a bit biased. I like that it fits with the lore and that you put a lot of thought into it.

Guinevere Morgan. I chose Guinevere because it’s the name of King Arthur(Of the round table)‘s wife. It’s a fun sounding, sophisticated name. Morgan is a contrasting name, almost plain sounding compared the the first name, which I like.

Such as Raven, Bear, Snow Leopard, Wolf Shaman/Acolyte armour? The helm is what I want, really. Or is it only for Shamans and Acolytes?

I like that name. Manly sounding.

I have two Norn females who, in my headcannon, are sisters. Astrid and Freya Bearsdottir. Both blessed by bear, their backstory is that they were orphaned as children and discovered around age three living with a female bear who had raised them as her cubs. Freya grew up to be a Ranger while Astrid became a necromancer.
