AG is a nice mix and usually splits, depends who’s in the zone tbh but very doubtful most the guilds will hold hands so much outside of keeps and usually inside as well. No idea about EB but that is blob central for all servers… most german servers have one commander tag and everyone stack/lag enemy to death if not hide in t3 bunker and ac… yawn… besides millers sound who can split and bring the fight with their guild groups.

Very impressed with UW this matchup… I hope you can maintain it throughout the week , not sure why you have internal bickering or it being so public… but maybe that’s server politics… your server is a breathe of fresh air so far and hope we get paired more often over some of the dead or snoozefest servers that are around… who play for points and not for fights.

UW friendlies seem very well organised and seem to have a just bring it attitude

FSP are alrite better than certain german servers or dead ones that’s for sure :P

First time I think since AG vs GD vs MS we have had this kind of balanced matchup

Thanks for the fights tonight on ROF BL, Initially tried DL BL but seemed pretty dead and took out upgrades, then tried ROF BL.

ROF got a lot more fight in you than Abbadons & Riverside Combined which was refreshing to see, people playing for fights and fun instead of pointless points and fight avoidance that some servers are so keen on… You guys are lucky to avoid servers like that for the most part (well before the random match ups)

Looking forward to some more good fights this week and if anyone wants to GVG PM me.

hehe complaining about AG blobbing on AG bl on reset… Firstly we were running big numbers from a guild point of view on reset (eventually) and had a few too many friendlies follow us instead of the commander despite asking nicely.

But your presence was too small ROF and that’s kinda to be expected with your lack of coverage/population & you guys didn’t see the Drakkar Lake presence in zone, there’s a reason we were outmanned for awhile :P We had some good fights with the DL presence its just a shame everyone left our zone too early after they got kicked out of keeps. we had a group of 40, 15 and 15 on the map I believe… that’s hardly blobbing compared to 110 guys in same comms channel on same spot…

looking forward to some good fights this week against new opposition and maybe some potential GvG for anyone interested.

Some MS guild’s co-ordinate more, to counter a certain playstyle that Is enforced upon them by other servers… it’s not like they always do it, although when certain playstyles are more frequent so is the countering. Im sure if you ask them for a fight they will be happy to oblige a lot of WvW servers are playing more and more like the higher tiers producing lesser fights all round. Mya are a good guild and generally run alone from what I’ve seen So can’t blame them for their countering…

Just blame them for not being on the same borderland as TUP last night kitten you Dantes haha (3-2) maybe if we lucky we get some more fights before next match up where we hopefully draw millers sound again :P and a server like Augury rock, Gandara, FSP

Taking everything I say the wrong way… but it’s cool whatever floats your boat to fit your agenda

Like Genotix Mentioned about old piken only server he mentioned “these guys are really good” because of their spreading gameplay playing for fights (they were the server everyone loved to fight)… Every server and I mean every server is slowly drifting towards the high tier gameplay (that the lower tiers use to avoid) its all about WXP whoring, it can’t be about pvp and it can’t be about money as you earn more in pve. Multiple commanders on a map, instead of just one which everyone follows in zombie mode.

As for elitest pro attitude or whatever hahaha… yes more to fit your agenda, you have no idea about me or definately not my guild. We work with our server mates too… just not to the extent that it ruins everyone’s fun and becomes farcial. We leave solo’rs alone and smaller groups where it can be helped… thats very elitest lol, and as for our friendlies we have good relations with them, co-ordinating and blobbing are two different things. We dont tell people to kitten off and leave zone we want your spot… that’s not how we roll but please continue.

So playing in a lag free enviroment where you use player skills against greater numbers is dull, artifical and generally depressingly sad warping of the concept of “world vs wolrd”… Give me 80-100 guys all in same comms channel and alot of arrow carts, enlighten me on the fun and challenge that brings daily where your chance of meeting equal or greater number are extremely high.

You know that kind of behaviour provokes, and then you get counter blobbed… and everyone’s gameplay frame rate is generally worse off because server’s cannot handle that style of play (yet) so its pretty abusive to do it by all sides. You know If miller’s really wanted too they could of blobbed you into next centuary like they can via Abbadons… but that would ruin your fun and theirs. (Im on about primetime with their guild raids not off peak when they have the best coverage and not on about EB either as that is blob central) They are trying to run like old piken.

Matchups and matchup scoring as been changed, look forward to what they do to zerg playstyle/player roles but most changes they make always favour the zerg that can now instant build siege and repair…

So many pver’s in WvW… riverside get competition with similar numbers at off peak times for once and they abandon ship to lower tiers so they can do exact same thing they been doing to other servers previously… someone should let them know Farming cof makes more gold than empty towers… and whats the point in WXP if your not even going to have any kind of competition and its only slight bonus’s at that.

“there is no point in roaming the map with your guild, if you’re constantly outnumbered.” Lol that brings the better fights when they not all on the same spot lagging you to death… so you have to all play the german game (besides millers) and farm them with siege… That’s boring but it seems a lot of people enjoy this kind of playstyle, which makes little sense to me especially this low down the tiers.

Ask Army, bots/dc, Mya what we were doing Monday when we only had 15 guys… we were out fighting them over and over, won some fights lost a few because of numbers indifference. The numbers gap was a unfortunate for both parties a bit too big but they were the best fights to be had, why run away from that. If you outnumber your opposition = boring fights, little challenge. Hence why when we fought you last week and run big numbers we split our raid into two… then was facing multiple guilds at once but QQ some more…

you do realise how kitten the gameplay would be if TUP encouraged blobbing and hand held? and if Mya Did exact the same thing on the same borderland? it would be a laggy auto attack spam fest. lol if you find that fun… Maybe gunners get Abbadons next and see what I mean :P

I don’t think we’ve run 30+ this week with our numbers Totally understandable for medium sized guild to work with another medium sized guild to take on a larger one which you guys do pretty well with PRXM, not sure if you are co-ordinated comms or practiced but you have a nice blend and challenging fights, and with MM yesterday too was even more tasty. You guys were individual working together, not all on same spot from a to b and it wasn’t too laggy

you exceeded my expectations in some ways… you guys got more fight in your server than rs/abba combined. Its just the inconsistencies that you kinda mentioned make it a bit dull (less intense consistent great fights) there’s been great moments and good fights but more infrequent with big lulls in between the action. Millers are one of the best servers we can face, just always hope for more epic fights from a matchup with them involved Good luck getting the servers you want next match up

Too bad old piken got ruined… I think millers is one of the closest servers to it though these days just that little bit of class/respect and lack of adding in equal fights as kinda been lost or not reproduced server wide, although I Know Mya/QQ might leave a fight or two alone but Piken kinda had a huge advantage over everyone as it was a pre existing open WvW community from Warhammer which got highly organised early to make up for lack of coverage.

Then we must be playing different servers or you don’t know them well enough… Seems like you haven’t fought riverside enough to know what they are truly like… Fight avoiders to the max(must get to the AC), they only care for points not fights… Where A few times we have tried taking gunners north supply camp and even when your guys have been outnumbered you had a fighting spirit and kept coming back for more until eventually we wipe… There’s been multiple occasions around your spawn of something similar happening and I can respect that, you don’t give up and bring it.

I was on piken when you faced them and lead the late night team… when you had kiss… we fought each other for two weeks… it was the start of the rapid decline of gunners before you consolidated, because so many fairweathers jumped ship (was annoying as they que blocked us a bit) says a lot about people who leave losing side to a immediate rival.

Genotix Of course you guys have less players overall, that goes without saying… its more how you use them. Be gunners hold, don’t be Abbadons or SFR… be a server that people are praying to the match up gods to be paired with because like I said you guys got potential. You already have the fighting spirit, something which has dried up on some servers.

Don’t use tier/population as a excuse that makes it even worse to encourage that german points playstyle because sure ain’t for the fights. Gunners you are like a hit and miss server, you have a lot of fight but sometimes too dead or too much handholding like SFR… that’s where disappointment comes from… Don’t want another server to be too boring like abba/RS that you don’t look forward to being paired with on reset. You have potential though.

If only SOE was a bit bigger, you guys have consistently brought the fights with and without others (when you are smaller than us I expect you to come with more)

Mya we’ve had really bad luck this week facing each other… but atleast I got Dantes back last night :P

Hand holders will be hand holders, whatever floats your boat bromancers.

There’s a reason why Mya is the biggest threat per a person we come across and it’s because they stand alone… Unlike some who talk the talk but don’t seem to walk the walk.

One time only events tee hee… why would any WvWr want to play like the other german servers besides Millers. It’s just the easymode cope out option where no co-ordination or any kind of skill (lol in a mmo) is required.

Keep showing your true colours, and complain about other servers doing the same behaviour your actively encouraging. If you play for fights you wouldn’t hand hold.

Ready for some more QQ from guilds who do more action on the forums than by themselves in game, let your actions do the talking in game show me dem big balls

Was a shame we didn’t have 5-10 more guys yesterday plenty of epic fights to be had on AG bl

But we still go no matter what, no need to hand hold or borderland swap and take the easy route. Was great practice for me personally and hopefully some of the others too… and later in the night that practice paid off a few really epic fights.

sorry we had too many slackers yesterday Mya, maybe on WED we meet or potential GvG. I hope we gave you a half decent fight atleast despite the numbers indifference (we had no chance of winning but that didn’t matter)

And hopefully you ms guys spread out a bit more (I know its a bit harder when there aint much to fight on the map) but it was pretty cluster kitten at ne tower then at bay

Who is the Best RS guild if DW weren’t? To me they were the one’s who stood out the most on their own. Some of their members went to TDA on Gandara, some applied for Mya on Millers.

Don’t need to generalise about Riverside, C’mon Ex Riverside players without Bias admit what your server is like, take off your blinkers

Reztek keep crying about my guild mate… we just find your server boring and lack of fight, which we have proved many times.

Your server is a anti pvp and pro siege server… I hope Viz teach you a leason, its been stated many times by people who have dropped down from the lower tiers that your the middle tier version of Viz.

You know your server lacks fight, when your best guild DW lost members because of that and went to other servers. Would love for you to prove me wrong about Riverside but you can’t… I feel sorry for the guys in [IF]

Viz & Deso are happy for the fresh meat/challenge/loot bags instead of staleness of same old same old.

You can keep riverside, and take Abbadons while your at it none of the middle tiers who play for fights & fun care about these servers who take the campaign so seriously and do little actual pvp.

Riverside generally go at it kitten the weekend, do early morning golem rushes daily too but their numbers will start to fade a bit during weekdays. Take away the t3’s and the siege and RS don’t have much after that… A few of their guilds are decent but I don’t think they can cope with Viz’s numbers.

The one and only german server that everyone wants to be paired with (I betted Ag vs MS vs PS… but no guildie won bet, que rollover for next week) I said before hand I would be happy if I got just one of those servers, So Im happy its millers, you guys are the server to fight (remind me a lot of old piken) with a lot of solid guilds playing the game in the right spirit.

As for gunners again, they provide a decent fight just a bit of excessive hand holding from time to time reminds me of SFR.

Thnx for the fights on reset, although it was pretty disappointing that everyone left our home borderland early(10pm+) and didn’t want to play :x and all the rest were still que’d.

You are one of the classiest and if not hardest guild we have fought per a person to date and your server is a model that the other german servers could learn a lot from (cough abbadons cough riverside) I look forward to future fights with MYA and maybe you will get to fight the bear :P

Yes Fab included you in the total yes we have fought you a few times solo, usually with another force like prxm? which made us pretty equal numbers. or when we split fought and havoc guild weren’t far away. We wouldn’t have to fight at your spawn towers if raid’s bigger than us didn’t run back there or organised forces spread out across the map more instead of just congregate in same area… but it’s cool learning how Gunnars roles these days as its been along time and I know FIRE have experienced a bit of hand holding themselves. So to say AG server is responsible because of rddt/open mic events is a bit unfair you know when XX guilds are doing it themselves.

It is WvW after all but I guess can’t expect everyone to be like Mya. As for Lavra firstly a guild warband isn’t a zerg fight abbadons then come back to me with that… and fighting someone built for team play is different to small scale roaming one vs one. But everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Yes Fab, we had issues with que so couldn’t switch bl until they had called their raid… DZ bl was pretty quiet, didn’t see much of a GH presence.

We had a hard time with being zerged because we were 25 against two guilds who were 40-45 with extra friendly support on top(not including the few friendlies that followed us as the weight of organised forces run them over with ease and aoe cap favours the larger organised force) I think our raid leader did a pretty good job for his second TUP raid in those circumstances. It brought back memories of Tier 2 and hand holding seafarer’s rest We go again and again we don’t run from a fight.

looking forward to more good fights this week, hopefully your servers can maintain a active sizable presence on every borderland during primetime.
