My response as been timid I ain’t even naming said guilds… but when it constantly happens all night long from the start, and when you know they are defending bay and you ask them if they need help, and the response is next time don’t ask just come and kill everything… that is blob mentality through and through… is it fun to kill something 60 (in my favour) vs 30… I don’t think so, I see no point in playing if that was the only type of fights available in game

and ROFL at clueless trolls… we wait and watched some balanced fights finish (instead of blob and spoil everyone’s fun just for the sake of it) just like GD waited and watched a few fights also… if that is too hard to understand then I feel for you

That is true, as for whining about it just stating facts of our server… maybe I have a less biased opinion than some people who always says enemy servers always blob but not their own.

When your allies constantly add into your fights, to spoil them and make them unchallenging and uncompetitive, that is worse… and its a case of swings and roundabouts at times in WvW… but we never fully endorse that style of play… some will get paybacked no worries about that… but to rob yourself of fun/challenge/victory by easymoding in zerg is tedious as hell(if easymoders laugh doesn’t bother me im laughing too out of pity)… If ya want that playstyle just x fer to a tier 1 server… make a well necro follow blue dot and tag everything… pretty straight forward for playing WvW as it was “designed”

You should change the name to Addora Glade… the Server that QQ’s about other servers blobbing but has many guilds and PPT fanatics who embrace that same philosophy but QQ when they get outdone at it… which is pretty rich from our hypocritical server

a lot of good fights on MS bl tonight… would of been many more if there was a lot less adding from each server and certain guilds in particular… so cheers for the fights

One particular fight was pretty funny vs INC in the SW camp, we had a nice even battle, then another guild wanted to add so we pulled out… Inc fought them and regrouped then that guild run away because they didn’t want to fight by themselves (lol)

GD thanks for the restraint and lack of Adding (initially)… we as usual don’t like to Add even though other hypocrits from our server QQ us for not doing so… yet when the enemy does it OMG!!

It’s been a bit blobby from all 3 servers this week to be fair, but thanks for the fights, preferred mostly the late night roaming outnumbered fights mostly.

This week could of potentially been a lot better with some decent guilds around and missed opportunities, but mostly noticed massive cluster kittens and lag too much for the majority of fights compared to even fighting Viz.

One guild though deserves special mention and that is the [ME] guild I believe from elona, you guys have great fighting spirit if only more guilds/servers played like you do the game would be a lot better for it. You even attacked us when you had less guys at some points which not many people do, so respect for playing the game how it should be. Look forward to fighting you in the future.

I miss the old millers server, where Mya and QQ lead the way, and you had plenty of others like bots, sm etc around… use to be my favourite server to fight for awhile

The new millers reminds me of a very old abbadon playstyle. Fight avoidance to the max if they lose a couple of fights which is a bit bleh and working in shifts avoiding primetime way too much just for ppt/pvd. As mentioned previously UW didn’t defend as committed or hard as they have done in the past… which made it a bit too “dull” or “easy” at times when entire bl is painted AG and que’s on other borderlands… and the one night we don’t get ques on AG and UW… we swap after enemy many times back and forth. I Personally don’t get the running away from action part but whatever floats their boat.

That being said there was some good fights, just expected you guys to be a bit stronger as you were in the past. So thanks for the fights and we shall meet again in the league soon.

Thanks for the fights tonight on UW BL, running strong numbers so eventually we split our raid into two then got some more nice fights… then alot of UW from EB came to UW BL when we were down to like 6 people haha was a shame they weren’t around earlier in the evening

Charliebear ill assume your Italian or +1… TUP stop raiding in UW bl just a bit before 10pm GMT… a little bit after HOB called it because it was dead and painted AG, Nothing to take or kill = sad panda. Some of the guys carried on and went to eb for some fun (although qued)

Millers guild’s left UW bl a bit too early just as the fights were getting good, would of had some nice 3 ways. UW seemed to give in after we took garrison again one last time with HOB. But before that some pretty good fights when we were against your zone, and some guild raids.

Please don’t join my party this week Realta… I don’t want to have my group sent to a supply camp and all of a sudden get ambushed by 50 underworld players foaming at the mouth and waiting on 10 superior ballistas… It will be too suspicious Dran :P

Disgusting unproffesional behaviour… this guy should be fired on the spot for the damage to arena’s reputation which to be honest needs alot of repairing already… GW1 was a very good game, GW2 was a game with alot of potential but so many mistakes (which still aint fixed from launch in pve and wvw) in comparison in all areas… the only thing going for it is the freedom of open World vs World and they balls that up often enough.

Offical apology, Sacking, and some transparecy and respect would go along way… there’s a reason why your customers are getting sick and tired if you treat them with such contempt.

Anet you reap what you sow, this is no longer about GvG but about attitude and reputation. There is a reason why alot of the wvw/gvg’r treat you the way you do, because it’s deserved for instances like this and other bull kitten they are subjected too. Just because your a MMO company you don’t have the right to treat your customers like this… its a bad business practice

If you censor this, try brush it under the carpet instead of meet it head on like any normal company and do the right thing… it will be even more disgusting unproffesional behaviour which will bite your game’s longevity and future company products for sure. You really should listen to your community, and stop listening to fan boi’s who are clueless yes people.

I can think of so many jobs where if someone acted like this towards a customer they would be SACKED why should this be any different… bad public relations or what, you can’t make this up… so sad.

TL DR

Hey gorrok, we weren’t our usual raid on wed’s from one reason to another, from a raid leader having to look after his baby(ouch our ears) to the lag and lack of appeal after fighting Viz for a week. If we were our usual strength and number it would of been good fights although some of the garrison stuff was okay, I lead the guys in more smaller roaming than usual and get use to new environment which seemed to work pretty okay although the logistics was a nightmare brought me back to piken night time commanding, but instead of guildie’s it was organising the realm

The north held strong while we undermined you with our lack of manpower, eventually we went to eb after we recaptured AG, and took SM with me and my merry bunch of 10 misfits during prime time with no support, just me in a golem first time leading on that class haha… FSP too busy trebbing abbadons in the SW of outer SM and fighting there… as soon TUP captured SM and AG map realised what just happened the swarm set upon the SW of SM, by that time it was too late for FSP to react although they tried to portal in reinforcements

Had some nice fights with DW (o7) and killing 50+ FSP who made a good run into the SM lord room, we killed them before a certain fail pve commander (cough Sam Knox cough) sent a pm about helping AM bl, so I sent the guys there, lost my net on swapping maps and called it only to find out I miss a epic garrison fight apparently :P

As for fighting AM, your not the most appealing server to fight, but i’d rather you than dead servers or one’s heavily outnumbered… its better to be the underdog more action more choice. From my pov, its just your playstyle as a server, its more embraced mass numbers than anything, which clashing with other server playstyles but like I said I prefer you over dead servers… Only guild group I remember is I believe SC for running alone and being positive and fairly challenging fight in equal numbers. I have to think a lot harder to remember other guild groups

but obviously Adac for sheer size, and maybe like DP (although don’t seem them as much) I barely notice tags on AM as its usually blob this or blob that I love how many times Dranul asks is it all of them? and every single time its yes all of them lolol.

The one thing I really dislike about AM is the borderland swapping after a few wipes, AM usually outnumbers enemies but once it gets beat a few times disappears from what I’ve seen on numerous occasions. Instead of play what’s in front of you. If we always bl swapped after a few wipes we wouldn’t be no where near what we are today. But still your better than riverside, keep up the aggression. You will be a serious contender in the silver league, not that PPT matters its just coverage and size.

FSP will win bronze league if they stay below the threshold… and if ANET decides to randomly put teams in gold,silver,bronze that will be massive fail and more unbalanced match ups despite knowing some servers like kodash etc are intentionally throwing rating atm so they won’t be top 9… so I prefer a more natural silver league (mid tier) AM to win silver league over a server trying to fix match up’s for a easier ride… although I would love AG to win from a selfish point of view of then fighting the top tiers again, I wouldn’t want to break the server in the process of achieving that… i.e overpopulation.

FSP we have fought a lot, stick together build on what you have, you will be back to the middle tiers with a bit of work and one or two more guilds recruited or stepping up. Be happy you have no que issues, its better to recover that way, than what happened to old piken as you can’t fix overpopulation.

I would like to say thanks to ANET for the map change, well the effort into using that wasted space before, whilst keeping the jumping off garrison into water, just opening up more places to attack objectives from with this new space and better defended positions. Not sold on the bloodlust buff personally because it spoilt GvG’s and it will also hinder underdog servers when they are already hindered enough… your putting back in something which you removed without even changing it… ORBS/bloodlust you have your priorities mixed up on the buffs…

Outmanned should buff combat performance if anything… and people would fight over WXP/Karma/Gold/XP buffs especially if you gave slight reward for taking those points. I want to beat bigger numbers through teamwork not because I have a gear or “orb” unfair advantage over them… its demoralizing for quite a few players from smaller servers coming against bigger ones, I know their mentality they will quit WvW, there will be less fights and que all the semi justified whine posts on the forums.

On the one hand you did a positive change with the map, its a great design and suits multiple styles of play. But on the other hand you reintroduced something that not only alienated the entire gvg guilds (who make a big chunk of organised wvw) I know you don’t really care about them, but also most the wvw population too because of the ignorance and contempt you have for us. Buffing dominant server(in combat performance) makes unbalanced match up’s more unbalanced… (reward them in other ways)

With the leagues coming up FSP vs WSR vs Vabbi… FSP +150 Stats on each player, already outnumber the opposition… why can’t you see how kitten that is for ALL the players involved as it spoils their wvw experience… Competitive match up’s are the most fun, no need to buff dominant server leading to a exodus of WvW.

yeah cheers for the fights tonight, we still weren’t our usual selves recovering from hangover hahaha from Saturdays excursions, also took awhile for the guys to get use to me leading on ranged class for a change but we did alrite could of done better in some parts despite generally being outmanned and sieged. Cheers for the fights also DW, got a lot of time and respect for you guys, always tried to fairly give you some space to fight us instead of camp and we had some good battles in the north

Cheers for the fights yesterday, I hope we weren’t too disruptive (allies and enemies alike ha) feeling a bit rough after all that drinking and karaoke. We usually don’t host a proper raid on a Sat but we were celebrating over a year in Guild Wars 2, so we did something different At times again it felt like people were borderland swapping from us our raid ended with us helping take stonemist for the realm… for Aurora

As for the GvG comments, we are looking for GvG… some of you guys are confusing spvp with GvG… nobody wants to play Spvp bro, its too boring and limited and you can’t really do it as a guild… unless you were a small one.

Out of touch bro, out of touch. Thanks for buffing zerging once again… Swap outmanned buff with bloodlust… atleast that would make more sense but no.

How long till bloodlust gets removed from WvW like orbs were for the exact same reason? or you going to wait till you lose a lot of WvW guilds and more servers die before you take note of your consumer playerbase? who are giving you a major heads up btw… but are ignored yet again and could be the straw that breaks the camel’s back in some cases. The communication with the WvW community as been pretty poor, its like having pver’s incharge of all player vs player decisions… buff ac’s, give buff to all stats to strongest population server, more supply drain for server with most numbers. Never fixing waypointing, way to encourage zerging.

I don’t want a bonus to my stats that gives me a unfair edge over my opposition… and I don’t want my enemy to have a stat boost to have a unfair edge over me bro… I want to win with teamwork and skills not gear and buffs mate or siege for that matter…

We already called dibs on them fights Trip hands off :P It kind of depends Mate. When we were 30+ we could have a good fight with entire zone win or lose don’t matter… when we were lower 20’s on Monday it was a bit tougher for our guys although Personally I might of died just once or twice all evening I survived a lot I know 20 vs 100 is a lot harder, and its a bit of a compliment to send so many for us… I just laugh at tagless people who say easy or whatever and try bait us like that… then we just worked more closely with our allies NP who had I don’t know 10-20 guys aprox which was enough to produce some epic battles that evened things up a bit on that day… then later in that evening was like 10-15 TUP 5 or so NP and the fights continued and also the friendlies who were around.

Last night shame I wasn’t raiding from start I heard the “beach” on comms well some of it lol, but camp fight I was there and recorded and not sure about the bay push if it was earlier.

All you can ask from each match up is for some fun epic battles, and so far this matchup delivers for us just that. Hopefully I Make a decent video of it in a few weeks

I love how SFR act like they are better than Viz… with so much bitterness and envy in every post they make the jealously is so obvious. Bitter Rivals instead of sporting rivals. I remember when we fought SFR on Piken… Sacrx hyped them up and we were left very dissapointed, just hand holding guilds who couldn’t get things done alone, when you rarely came across these guild groups alone they would wipe in 30 seconds alot faster than pug groups I might add. Lower tier guilds were stronger or pugs for that matter, they could do things solo and be more challenging, SFR always been so much talk on forums, so much hype to compensate for the class that they are lacking. Viz is number 1 PPT server is that too hard to accept?

We have heard horror stories about how Viz is just like riverside but to us your playstyle is a nice mix of multiple servers… riverside bore you to death, Viz do not. You guys bring the fights and we are use to fighting zones, sometimes the numbers balance is a bit too much but sometimes it can produce really epic fights. We play for fun and epic fights, you guys provide fights where some other servers do not… they generally borderland swap after a few wipes or hide in t3 bunker instead of actually play the game and fight whats in front of them.

Its a nice throw back to see a server exert alot of aggression on the battlefield and just go for it, although numbers advantage should make you aggressive if you were riverside you would be content to sit in t3 keep on ac’s with your whole zone waiting for someone to attack… their forum warrior’s will deny this but from many experience in our t3-t5 battles its true.

So thanks for the great action so far (we extend our raid like in older times because its been so good) where lately dead match ups or boring servers we end it early with nothing wanting to fight us. I hope tonight goes like the other nights one thing though jumping spectators at GvG ain’t cool and will hurt your reputation… if you guys are about PPT as much as you say you are then these guys have no effect on that and are actually helping you by not being active and taking stuff.

Your night coverage is crazy reminds me of old baruch bay’s.

When we fought with Underworld bleed, it was a nice matchup thread besides UW bickering with UW politics and all that in game, and they did have one depressing commander who was pretty negative so maybe your on about him, but from our pov of fighting them and some other servers is that they had something good going on, with lots of potential. Their pug groups weren’t massive, but were the most organised I’ve seen and thus made them difficult/challenging despite them not being the size as most servers we fight. Maybe they don’t reach their full potential, maybe they burn out but so far I haven’t seen anyone match them per a person. True they only had the numbers to fight their own bl(that’s why they lower ranked) but who cares about PPT.

come on now I didn’t say you are the worse I just said similar to Jade Sea level… when you rely on numbers so much of course it will have a impact on fighting ability… where a Server like Augury just have a amazing fighting spirit forged through very competitive matchup’s and their attitude towards fights… and Underworld were the most organised pug’s I’ve seen from any server and considering ive got the most kills in TUP and played against almost every server… im in a pretty good and almost unique position to judge a server’s fighting ability from my time leading piken nights and time active on Aurora Glade.

Let me see listen to Troma or Bleed? One of the respectful leaders which helped established Viz or someone who don’t even listen their tag… hard choice bro.

cheers for the fights last night was fun, even though general numbers imbalance we like to test ourselves so much better than last week’s dead matchup, atleast your guarenteed some action although sometimes its a bit imbalanced population wise. That ain’t totally viz’s fault (they won’t do what we(some of our guilds) generally do in the lower tiers and not add in even fights) you could say its anet’s match making fault or the fairweathers which every server have who were a plenty last week against servers they know are lower then go hiding against bigger servers…

From what ive seen so far Viz i would put you similar to Jade sea, but still not as strong as servers like Augury Rock and Underworld in terms of fighting ability per a person… not the precious PPT

I know FSP can be a lot stronger than it has shown, not sure if its the new living worlds, or bad server morale or both. Always felt guilty killing any ROS I hope you guys get a more competitive match up with equal pop servers soon

Haha I know who you mean, yeah we don’t cheat, no point and no need too.

Kris, that is the fair weather side of most servers though… personally I love when AG is the underdog server like vs elona and augury… instead of being the dominant and scrambling over one another to fight… give me a zone to fight TUP we don’t shy away from a fight.

The hypocrisy of most servers though isn’t very classy though but whatever floats their boat. Personally I don’t enjoy killing any ROS guys, they should never ever be in the same match up, but the system is broke and it happens. To me, we must look to them like Abbadons do to us, despite us splitting up more, just the size difference. As for FSP they are the only people really to fight, and not that long ago weren’t that far away from being similar to AG.

Your server seems fragmented and suffering from a morale collapse, I haven’t seen so much zone swapping in awhile. When Abbadons blob gets farmed they do too. Hopefully you guys consolidate what you have and rebuild, the stronger our opposition servers the better.

TUP Looking for GvG for Thursday… it don’t even have to be official if people are too worried about imaginary rating 15-20 something can be worked out if you don’t have “exact numbers”

We will most likely be separated in different leagues soon so won’t fight each other for awhile, so if anyone wants to fight we are always looking for a fight just holla and come at me bro

here’s too a more balanced match up for all us next time out

The bottom tiers will be too barren for when there aint much gvg’s going on imho… but the middle tiers will have the best of both worlds… if guilds move to the servers with space instead of stack on one’s that are already full… the bottom half of the mid tier the likes of Fort Ranik,underworld, Drakkar’s, gunnar’s probally has some space during prime time and if bigger guilds spread out across those from the higher tiers, then the likely hood of a dead match up will be decreased considerably… or people ducking gvg fights…

Nice to see Elona change a bit and not just rely on stacking mass numbers as much as a server like Abbadon’s do with little style.

Augury rock… I love augury rock, it’s my favourite server to fight, their mentality is spot on win or lose they bring the fight to you… when so many other servers go in hiding and zzzz you to death… you know you have to always be ready for a fight vs Augury or you will get rolled. Also nice to see multiple strong guilds on both servers, so much better than a dead match up and its nice for AG to be the underdog again against servers with a fairly good play style just better coverage.

We/I may joke around with our comms and French music in videos, but there is a lot of respect and time for Augury as a server… like last night we helped save your garrison from Elona’s big attack, that was a bit hectic and fun.

Thanks for the fights TDA, always a pleasure just usually we are numbers mismatched most the time so we don’t really get the opportunity. Always have a lot of time and respect for TDA, when other havoc guilds died or hand held TDA always kept their identity and ethos. If only more guilds were like TDA WvW would be a even better place. Fighting guilds you hold in high regard takes it to another level

Jaimy yes we did, and it was a great throwback we were planning to get smashed but we didn’t end up getting as smashed we liked (I guess lack of spirits this time), although we had a lot of fun with great fights and our new resident DJ with excellent taste I might add the fights were coming thick and fast

as for class composition it looks like TDA are the closest in their guess work / intelligence (yes that’s right TDA and intelligence in same sentence don’t be shocked Gandara and spoil their dream :P)
