At long range shrink the names smaller. When there was culling there was no issue with the name size, but now that we can see them at a long distance, we need the names to scale down a little bit when they are further away.

Those are the primary colors of pigment. Which no one cares about, except hippy finger-painters. The primary colors of light are Red, Green, and Blu (as they French would say)

Yes but red has to go down stairs, and then up a hill. They also must jump off 2 cliffs to leave their keep in a timely manner. This is terribly abusive on the body, and leads to health complications.

Blue side has to navigate a maze on their way out of their keep! Hardly fair.

Falls from the jump up to blue keep vista are rarely fatal. Also the jumps are significantly easier. Please do your research next time before you insert yourself into such a depthy topic as vertical jumping obstacles.

IMO enemy groups of 25+ should show on the maps. Large moving groups should have some disadvantages but nothing terribly game breaking.

This is why we have scouts. Your solution would make mindless zerging even more mindless.

Did you just kill a dolyak? It’s counting the extra supply you gain from a dolyak kill as “special loot” and provides a chest. It’s empty if the dolyak dropped nothing (no meat or hooves for you!)

This case has been solved by Milky.

As a WvW veteran, I am more than fine with not having my past accomplishments added to the system. I extremely dislike it when games release new content and everyone has it day 1, it makes it very un-special.

Also they made it character-bound, while your old wvw statistics are all account bound, so it’s more than likely not as simple as you suggest, even if they DID want to give you credit for them.

Green side is unbalanced as well because the green keep has the most challenging vista point out of all the vista points on EBG.
I’ve witnessed some people asking for ports just to get to that vista.

Very true, I have seen many a poor, vertically-challenged, lad fall to his death trying to reach the top. It is simply unfair for those of us who really really enjoy pve accomplishments.

Green has not just one, but two water gates with the pathetic excuse of sharks as guards. Those sharks could barely hit something if their target stood still. I can go for a casual swim and bump the gate and no one is the wiser!

I scout. I get far less wxp than everyone else that zergs and stays around to take towers/keeps/camps. This would mean that I would get in the que lower than everyone else that zergs. This would be a disincentive for people like me who enjoy and are useful scouting.

I thought of this idea before as well, and it sounds nice on paper, but only if you assume that everyone started playing wvw at the same time. At some point new players would almost never be able to get into a wvw map, as all the veterans would keep bumping them out of line.

OP is right. I am a scout most of the time, and as a scout I am constantly thwacking enemy keeps to contest wayoints or force them to send someone to check it out. I enjoy contesting waypoints, but it is silly how 1 person can have that much power in a map.

Whether I’m scouting as a thief or as a ranger, it doesn’t matter how many guards are there, I will contest it no problem. Mesmer and ele also have a fairly easy time contesting keeps.

I think we should have the option to contest keeps with normal attacks, but it should require at least a few people, or when it takes damage from 1 piece of siege.

The mithril and red oak harvesting locations are all on the red and green sides of the map. This is horribly unbalanced towards blue side.

Yup, never understood why it had to be stationary. Always wished I could be moving. The only time I ever use its active is to catch someone, but I never use it…. because by the time it throws, they are out of range, no matter how close you were when you started.

I’m built pretty tanky too and noticed a nice damage increase with maul as well.

Some of the number crunchers had made a thread somewhere that it was effectively upping the maul damage by about 34% or something. Very nice when it crits.

Unfortunately also found a JQ mesmer hacking under bay. It seems that my shark was able to get inside and attack him, but he could just swim out of range and res himself. You can see him attacking me through the floor as well.
