I think that staying in the top 12 now insures some decent fighting. On PvE servers like CD that is good enough. Rise higher and there would be Ques.

Finished on my Ele. I WAS working on my 2 other 80 toons until this new gear thing popped up. Now I am here instead of playing. sigh

I do not really care who I killed or who killed me. Working on my 4th level 80 and I do not remember the name of any guild I have fought against. Leave it all as it is. We do not need to turn this into DAOC.
I hope that people camp all jumping puzzles 24/7. There is no PvE in a WvW map! Camp them until they all leave and never come back.

CD doesn’t really have any WvW guilds and our Population has dropped. We can only field enough for one map and a small zerg on one other. It is just the way it is.
Sadly our commanders rarely coordinate so the pug zerg gets split. After taking something or defending a keep rebuilding and siege are left to happen randomly. And as was said here, the jumping puzzle takes a good portion of our wvw slots.
But what is nice is that those who do WvW a lot will just keep coming back at ya! For us it is all about fighting, someone, any one! Kill that rabbit!
I left Yaks Bend after leveling 3 80s because the high level areas were dead. They were rocking on higher tiered servers, but on them you can not get into WvW. I am starting to think there are no balanced servers.
The only end game I have found are in these forums. In game alts are all there is to do after hitting 80. Getting +10 power on my panties or spikes on my shoulders doesn’t do anything for me since there is nothing to do even if I farmed for those gaudy armor pieces.
I think that they lowered the populations on the servers. I am seeing many more Full servers on the select screen than ever before.
Like the orbs the puzzles need to be trashed.

JQ also has a huge group of players from the east coast. There are far more important things to deal with in the east coast than online games at the moment. That’s if they can even get online due to the power outages.

I am finishing my third 80 and I have 20% map completion. It would take me awhile to even find a dungeon. Using level for a baseline is dumb.
Sorry as much as i respect WM and what they can do, I have been on the recieving end of two WM Portal bombs and this was done BEFORE the Blackgate matchup so to say you dont do it is rubbish. I dont think it was unfair or wrong, just the fact your claiming WM didnt and dont use Portal bombing/turtling when they clearly do in some circumstances.

One thing led to another. PvPers will always push the edges. Once they learned of culling peeps were stacking, then portaling, and now turtling. They are all cheezy to me so I happily await the nerfs!
You are right, people just want to play and have a good fight. So, Bring back the daily Free Transfer! Outmanned? click and you are in a good battle!
So because the PvPers had a list of reasons/whines of why they died in a PvP zone, the ability to WvW on your own server, or pop over for some PvE with friends, as was a game selling point, is gone.

Once again the biggest whiners in all MMOGs, the PvPers, force changes upon the rest of the population. And when this doesn’t work they will be back with more whines.
By the sounds of all this BG will get a battle about once every 3 weeks, when the tiers repopulate. LOL I wonder if this is the game they all wanted and planned for?
But who knows, maybe 2 other servers will populate with guilds that think and play like them. Hate to guess how long that will take, but a tier of like minded is the only hope they have now. Heh
In the mean time there are a lot of good battles going on in “lesser” tiers with no Ques!
You people really didn’t expect this WvW game to last very long did you? No one has made a PvP game that the cheesy guilds can’t hack and destroy.
What happens is what we are already seeing, the casuals slowly stop playing, balance is never found, and soon most WvW maps will be ghost maps with a few hard core PvPers in them.

The only thing that saves Anet and keeps them in business is their no monthly sub.
After doing close to 200 levels in WvW I can honestly say I have yet to see a “good” commander in WvW. In fact some of the best things I have seen were done by chanced upon small zergs with no leader. No One has stood out as being any better than a normal usual pug zerg. Lol which Is why I am now looking for a better server.

What I find funny about these threads is that WvD guilds like Ruin want so badly to be looked at as a good guild or a skilled guild. The other Deso people want to also claim they now magically have mad WvW skillz! lol Like everyone doesn’t know how and why they do what they do and are what they are.
Ruin is just one of the easy mode guilds that gather together as many people as possible. They are really just a PvE guild. Now they found a safe place with a safe time slot where they can PvE doors. To most of us they are pathetic but they do make all their PvE players happy, so /shrug. It is their bucks. They will move on to new doors in a week.
This is a new game and it is still evolving. I happen to like the idea of playing with folks from other countries. As a player on the west coast of the USA in all games it dies early when east coasters go to bed. I have always played more with Asian and Aussie people. Yes we Americans tend to be language challenged in that we depend on others to talk to us.
I happen to think that GW2 may end up as the best international game, given the time to evolve.
FS inviting US and Latin American guilds to conquer the EU top spot (and Eurpeans welcome, too...)

A friend and I who live on the west coast joined FS a few days ago. One doesn’t even notice a language difference in chat. Since we have no guilds here yet we became zerglings and the team and map chat was english. We had some good fights with the evil Deso people but the numbers do drop off until one is finally over run by them. Still it is a better matchup than on the NA servers. If FS gets a few more people it should be great times.
The transfers need to stay until guesting is fixed! It is way too early in the game to shut them down. The game and servers are still evolving.
Think of them as hired Mercs!

Yeah!! This sucks! All 140 levels I have done in WvW totally sucked! The threeway battles on Yaks Bend all week long last week really sucked! Especially the threeway in the keep lords room that lasted over an hour! Man that sucked. There is no potential in this game as it is.
Maybe we should all be pandas and dance!?
The server transfer is one of the games selling points!
It is nice to be able to do some dungeon runs with friends on other servers who just bought the game later, or joined servers with different guilds than mine. Gamers who predate the WoW generation were in many guilds since the AC & EQ days and people spread out in each game.
Why should the game just cater to people who like 2 day wars and supply camping for karma?

$60 isn’t much so yeah it was worth it for a few months of play.
If there was a sub then No it wouldn’t be worth playing. Best free to play game out there right now.
