3710g for a perm hair style contract!?

3710g is nothing.

Some players have accumulated over 200,000 gold. 3,710 for them is a toothpick.

You don’t understand the problem. Yes, if I could fork over 4k gold for this item I would. The problem is that there are none of these items remaining to be sold. No one has an un-accountbounded item of this to sell. They have all been used and bounded to accounts.

Which is info you can’t possibly verify or know. Granted the number is exceptionally low or maybe it is zero, but you can’t say how many are out there that could be sold.

On top of all of this, these are still a drop from Black Lion Chests. An insanely rare drop but they can drop as can the other permanent service items (TP/Bank/Merch). So they can still be acquired but the chances are extremely, agonizingly low it seems.

Are there any decent dps non zerker builds?

This is a PvE thread. This was my mistake. I posted my WVW builds. When I said its my meta not the meta, what I am saying it is the build that I run about 99% of the time I was not saying this is the build all warriors run. So learn to read.

You misread the thread. You misdefined, and continue to misdefine, the word ‘meta.’ You tell me to “learn to read.” There is a joke in there about a pot calling a kettle black, but in that allegory, the pot and the kettle are both black. In this case, you’re functionally illiterate, and I am not.

He didn’t misdefine the word meta. He said it was his own meta. If that build for him is on a higher tier that supercedes others then what he said is perfectly accurate. Perhaps before calling people “functionally illiterate” for the way they use a certain word, you should understand what the word actually means.

Monthly contents on the last day of the month

@Iridiana.9078: You got it all wrong. What it means is that there will be major patches within a month of eachother. It has nothing to do with which month you effectivly play them.

They still come in the month they say it will, it doesnt matter which date it comes, since in reality it doesnt matter. The content is braught to the game to stay permanently, its not something thats only going to be played until the next patch. If it was like that, each old zone would be abandoned after each new patch, which isnt the case.

Except Living Story which is not a permanent content.
Except January patch which went live 1 month and a half after December patch.

I think you’re overlooking the obvious reason that the Jan/Feb patches have been later in the month rather than earlier: the holidays. At the end of December and beginning of January people would be taking time off for those holidays, hence the January patch came out near the end of January rather than the beginning/middle. Now February’s patch will be a month after that.

sigh still not fixed

And still a major lack of communication. As always. Since Guild Wars 2 they are like goldfikittenhe make a mistake, people complain about the lack of communication. Then they try a bit harder for a day or two and then it starts all over again.

They are working on a fix. That has already been stated. Why do people always want an update when there is nothing new to update? Should they stop all of their work every hour to ensure that you know they are still working on the thing they told you they were working on already?

They’re working on it. They’ll fix it. When there is something new for them to communicate, they’ll do so. Patience is a virtue, try it out sometime.

Phantasmal Haste doesn’t reduce the recharge of phantasms cool down. Illusionists Celerity does work, so please fix Phantasmal Haste or give us a different trait that would help.

Phantasmal Haste reduces the recharge of a Phantasm’s attack so they will attack more often. It doesn’t reduce the recharge of your Phantasm summoning skills. The description of the trait in-game is poorly worded and doesn’t explain this clearly.

You are silly. WvW is PvE.

SPvP needs moar modes. It has been noted.

PvP stands for Player vs. Player. I go to WvW to kill other players. I am also a player. Therefore, WvW is PvP – claim rendered invalid.

No. You go to WvW to take camps and towers to help your world. And NPC’s guard those camps and towers, not players. It is more beneficial to kill NPC’s in WvW than it is to kill other players. Therefore, WvW is PvE.

He goes to WvW to kill other players, same reason I do. We are PvPing when we do that.

Also, without enemy players the WvW aspect of the game wouldn’t even exist. By it’s very nature, it is a form of PvP.

Why are people doing dragon bosses?

To all the people saying things like “there is nothing fun about repetitive gameplay,” or something similar, I just have this to say. Believe it or not, some people find repeating the same tasks over and over, with little to no gain or change, to nonetheless be fun. “Fun” is one of those abstract things that can be derived from numerous sources.

Some people like Michael Bay movies. They’re still terrible.

See where I’m going with this?

Some people post their opinion as if it is fact while telling other people that their opinions are simply wrong. Some of those people do that quite often on this forum. Some of those people need to seriously get over themselves and realize they aren’t right about everything and that their opinion is not fact.

See where I’m going with this?

I have seen you in several other threads with the same attitude. You state your opinion as if it is simply fact and that anyone who disagrees is wrong. So, regarding the topic of this thread: Your opinion is that dragon fights are not fun. Many share your opinion. Many do not share your opinion. Neither one is right. Neither one is wrong. They are opinions. If you are still having trouble understanding this concept, let me try to simplify it for you:

Statement #1 – There are dragon fights in Guild Wars 2. (fact)
Statement #2 – The dragon fights in Guild Wars 2 are not fun. (opinion)

Did you ever stop to consider that maybe if you tried to approach the game with a more positive attitude then you might get more fun out of it?

There are still true gamers out there that play to have fun.

I agree 100%. I still run the Dragon fights (as I did dungeons, etc. in GW1, as well) all the time for fun. I hardly ever get anything other than blues/greens out of the chests. I don’t care. It doesn’t matter. I have fun fighting the dragons.

I didn’t have any gems in my account. At this point I am just assuming that those “lost” items that I got reimbursed for somehow showed up in my mail.

Tonight when I logged in I had two items delivered to my inbox: a dye pack and a mini pack. However, I didn’t order them. Several weeks ago I did have an issue with the gem store where I ordered a couple items that never got delivered. I submitted a support ticket and my gems ended up getting reimbursed. The items that were not delivered that I was reimbursed for just happened to be a dye pack and a mini pack. So is it possible that these “lost items” somehow got delivered to my inbox tonight even though it has been weeks since that lost order?

I come to a game wanting to play the game itself, not cross my fingers and hope a developer magically guessed what I wanted and made that for me. I play the game for what it is, not what it isn’t.

Absolutely.

Thanks for the reply. I am aware of that workaround but that isn’t the problem in my case. I have only had a few mail items at any given time and at this point I have 0/10 as I already deleted them all.

I had a similar issue. I bought gems on 8/30 and purchased a mini-pet pack and a dye pack and neither one came in my mail but the gems remain deducted from my account. Have a support ticket submitted (120901-016566) and waiting on a reply.
