Generally when a player doesn’t take damage for the first few seconds of opening combat then their HP suddenly tanks you can bet they blew defensive cooldowns…. just stating the obvious when you don’t know if they are “legit” or not for not taking damage -.-. It was clearly them using defensive cds.

i am asking if a mesmer is able to block/invul for such long periods because i don’t play a mesmer.

fought her recently in ebgs. CDvsSOSvsSBI right? Was talking with some people on CD side, the consensus is that somehow she’s stealthing for extended periods, above and beyond the cd of decoy, and blinking far too often.

She had about 10 of us CD folk chasing her around for a good ten minutes.

Some people on the map have already reported her for exploiting or hacking, but without name plates we can only guess the identity.

She had a commander tag on sometimes. so i reckon SoS people will know her.

but this mesmer seems to block everything. is this a new ‘guardian’ build for mesmers?

this video is not that absurd, there was once where 8 people gang her and she didn’t even drop a bit of hp.

Hi fellow guardians, how do you kill a d/d ele?

this well buffed ele with 25 stacks of stats + food buffs doesn’t seem to be dying anytime

It seems like every killer class comes after me if i wield a staff

thieves, mesmers, warriors, you name it.

so folks, if you want to draw aggro, hold a staff, it’s cool.

I tested it about a month or so back after the patch which they said they fixed it.

PoV works fine

but PoV + soldier runes is unstable.

certain shouts will trigger PoV first and convert cond to boon, then remove another cond.

certain shouts will not trigger PoV first and will only remove.

so i wouldn’t go soldier + PoV.

In fact, i think its overkill.

i think the most important thing to defeat a mesmer is DPS, if you have no damage, then you might as well go grab a drink from the refrigerator, come back and wp.

then , you will also need to know which is the real basketball. which you should know since you play a mesmer.

then, you will need the tools to inflict dmg, aka CC, catching skills etc.

then last but not least, you need to hope that guy is not a good mesmer.

if he is a good mesmer, then go grab a drink too.

i have already predicted that ectos will drop in price because the real source of ectos is not from world bosses.

I have seen many people gunning for 3k attack and 3k armor but they sacrifice a lot of other secondary stats like healing power, boon duration, crit chance etc.

also, there are runes like lyssas which give boons, and not really cold hard stats like divinity.

Boon duration time +% also drastically reduces all the stats. but is it worth it?

So, are paper stats really that important?

Reason it shows like that is maybe because u have them on your PvP Armor that even though the events dont count in PvE, it lets you know that you have them in PvP too.

Although I will admit that even if I have that on my Guardian, my Ranger showed the same thing and he has never gone to PvP xD so dunno

Hitting shiny mushrooms will allow them to drop jumping mushrooms.

these act as shortcuts for others or for yourself should you fall.

you only need to hit the frog king once, when he is about to storm left or right.
