i didn’t play for months but it seems like i have a permanent DR buff.
i like the idea of the orb although i don’t know about the imbalance stuff.

In the past I’ve put in 350+ rare GS into the toilet, quit and when I came back I decided to just use exotic ones. 50G later, dawn. another 50G later, dusk, then 2 dawns after that. Ended up turning 80G into 2400 or so in a few days with crazy RNG…
Then I went at it again and didn’t see a precursor after 500G
now you are making me feel like throwing away my money again

1) Get rid of all individual rewards based on actions like capturing towers, killing people etc. Instead, make rewards be awarded at the end of the 15min timer, scaling and depending on the number of towers/camps/keeps etc that each world holds.
=> This rewards players for their time spent in WvW. No longer does killing and capturing award the most. Every action has an equal reward, scouting/ trebbing etc. Everyone plays their unique part and gets reward equally. Encourages awareness of the war and not loot.
2) Make upgraded towers/keep/etc give more rewards
=> This encourages people to defend / guard supply routes / etc
3) Make walls/gates fall faster
=> Zerging will net them 1 tower for example, but the other server would have taken more locations in the same span of time if they spread out. Encourages multiple commanders with smaller squads for attacking, defending, sabotaging etc.
4) Make breakout events occur as long as there is an outmanned buff/spawn camp.
=> This will aid the smaller servers into getting a foothold against greater numbers. This will also prevent a total wipe which discourages any fightback. Make siegerazer a hell of a monster, something like the gorilla in lyssas, maybe a few more times stronger
. Also, the breakout event npc should be fully capable of capturing points by themselves and leveling the other server’s massive numbers, “Living world”.
5) Make the winning server points tick for less , while the losing servers points tick for more if the gap is too wide.
=> This is to ensure there is a lesser likelihood of a runaway server win by tuesday for example and make it competitive. something like Diminishing returns.
6) Encourage ganging on the winning server. Taking locations in their borderlands give more rewards for example.
=> That is the hallmark of a three-way fight.

most CDzen are casual WvW player, mostly farmer, and would think of anything related to farming….. including tower lords.
if you guys from HoD/DH think CD zerg is bad, you ain’t seen nothing yet…. TC is worse…. lol

CD is the undisputed PvE server.
the spirit of CD lives in the people who transferred to other servers like TC and JQ.
the only thing that stops a zerg from CD is the sentry control point. you will see the commander running off with nobody since everyone wants the sentry wxp LOL
i still remembered when we breached an inner keep, orders were to clear the walls first but most people went to tag the champ first haaa
This weekend, we were taking Bravo and the commander wanted to go after the keep, but someone aggro’d the giant grub…facepalm commander runs over to keep with maybe 4 people out of our 20-30 zerg lol.
it runs in the veins lol. i don’t know why. so funny to see priorities mixed up.
i must say it’s amazing to see different servers fight. Their methods are all different and refreshing.

There will be a buff that you get if you contol at least 3/5 capture points for two minutes in the updated borderlands map (coming next patch).
The buff itself will give you +50 to all primary stats and finishing players with a stomp will give you +1 point. So stomping 5 players in a fight will be worth as much as controlling a camp.
Each borderland will have a bloodlust buff and will effect the other BLs and EB.

i like the orbs from last time though.
i remembered chasing the orb stealer across the whole map, it was insane and excitingly fun.
we going to get dragon armor and a new saint skill?

all i want for christmas is my player to automatically pick the loot in WvW.
whats the point of AOE loot when i still have to press the button to pick them up?!?!
I should be focused on fighting not stopping to see where the loot drop

I watched the first 1:15 minutes of the video and had to stop. The maker of the video didn’t even target one enemy during the zerg v zerg at the beginning. In other words, all he/she did was run forward and spam skills, ignoring everything else. He couldn’t even care less what the enemy players were even doing because he didn’t even target one of them!
How is that possibly any fun whatsoever?
I have autotarget disabled and in ZvZ fights, 90% of the time I don’t target anyone. Some classes/weapons SHOULD be played that way.
Lots of players do this. It’s acceptable/expected in most cases. Targeting a player, depending on your weapon, can lead to you shooting off in the wrong direction at the wrong time.
