I would totally remove the IP info in your picture. The reason I said it’s IP based is because I don’t get the code request at home. I have yet to authorize IP from work and it does ask me every time when I log in from work to post in forum.
Although it is strange in your case unless they allow a range of IPs instead of particular IP.
In any case, if you are worried, send in a ticket and see what support can tell you.

Does your IP change very so often ? How often does it change ? What did you do to check that your IP changed ?
Level up a character from that account.
You can try to contact support and provide as much information as you can such as
1. the last 4 digits of card you used to buy it
2. when did you create your account
3. what’s the purchase date
4. any details regarding to account that you can provide
Just leave the client up and eventually you will get a good speed. I saw all the errors when I tried to patch but now I am at 2MB/s download.

Playing on the same computer/IP is not going to cause the ban. Once the account is setup, you will see a “upgrade to a full account” button if he decided to buy the game.
As far as I know, there is no special offer but you two get to adventure together ( if you have two computers ) and have fun in Tyria.

When did you setup your GW2 account ?

We will have to agree to disagree. I don’t think ANet try to detect anyone with software that come with keyboard/mice and ban people when they found such program installed. I have more faith in ANet than that.
As I said, I have been playing with my G15 since beta and I am still playing everyday. I do not know how they determine who is botting and using macros, but I am sure it is not just by gaming keyboard/mice software since a huge percentage of gamers use such hardware.
It matter not how much you played GW1. No AV can catch 100% viruses. I use a combination of AV and Anit-Malware software. I also block most of the scripts from website. There are a lot of ways people can install unwanted software onto your computer without your knowledge. The best way is not to access websites you do not know anything of.
As Gaile points out, a lot of those level sites and bot programs are also loaded with keyloggers.
You should add authenticator to your account and write down the serial code for the game and remove the email with code from your account. Watch out if there is more attempt, if so, you might want to format your computer if you can’t find the keylogger.
If its account name, it seems like they will change it for you. There is a similar thread somewhere.
They probably will prompt you to change the name once the suspension is over.

Gaile already said gaming keyboard software is NOT the reason they ban people. If you bind one key stroke to cast 5 skills, then its not allowed.

I am not aware of game specific keylogger. I think if your account is compromised, you need to find out how that happens. A lot of virus/keyloggers are not detected by AV and it also depends on what kind of AV you have installed.
Why do you need button mushing ? Skill 1 can be set to auto-attack and the rest of the skills always have some cool down. Press a button every 10 sec is not that much.

If you have not send in any ticket, you should do so. If you already sent in a ticket, then you will be discussing the matter with support through emails and support system. Update your tickets with as much required info as possible.

I have G15 version 1 on my gaming machine and there was never a problem since I did not use it’s macro function at all. I really don’t think you have to uninstall the software. Gaile also said in her post. If its 1 to 1, it will be fine. If a player hit one button to make more than one key press in game, then its treading on danger ground.
It is not broken therefore there is nothing to fix. Maybe they will increase the server capacity for the event but there is no official words for it.
I think you can put a key to upgrade to full version since thats what shows up when you log into the game according to some people who applied trial key to their full game account.
Did he ever play the beta or register an account with ArenaNet ?
I don’t think they will resend the email due to the email account could be hacked and the hacker is trying to gain access to the account.
We both know what the player intended the name to look like and used “bow” to bypass the filter. Why do people think that’s clever is beyond me. I only have one conclusion for people like that but I am keeping that to myself LOL
I am guessing it’s because the word is “bow” not “blow”. Also, it’s unreasonable to ask a filter to covers all possible bad words.

There is no option to opt in or out at the moment. As long as you have the authenticator, you should be fine.

That would not make sense until your guild leader proves his owns the account. Think about it, if everyone can contact ANet and claim they own the account without a serial code and other required information and ANet suspends those account, people would prank the hell out of other players they do not like.
Your guild leader should send in a ticket and get all the information needed to ANet so they can suspend the account once the ownership is verified.

There is no other option available for the moment as far as I know.
You can transfer server for free every 7 days. Just watch the Gandara server and try to transfer to it at different hours. It might take a few days to catch that population drop.
I wonder if it’s just a hiccup on the system.
I am not sure about return/exchange but I know they are going to add a confirm button.

I don’t know if he was using macro or not. It is from his post. I was just curious because I have friends bought from greenmangaming and they are fine with their accounts. However, if his reason of banning is macro/bot, of course GMG is not going to refund him.
Also, just a tip, if your ticket is over 3 days old, you should post the ticket in the sticky thread. This is not the official thread to post that and I don’t think they look at ticket number in the thread.

The best advice is to have patience. Ticket queue runs from 24-48 hours so plan on some other activities to occupy your mind at the same time would make waiting easier.
The support system might be down at the moment by mistake since they are doing a maintenance on commerce system. It should be back in 1 hour and 15 mins. Try again at that time.
You need to send in a ticket and remove your email address from the thread to safeguard your account.
It sounds like you are hacked if all those did not work for you. They don’t have a phone number to call for game support so all you can do is send in a ticket and wait.
