id like to add because of this, ive took advantage by rerolling a Condition bunker Engineer.
and its so easy to play with little to no Disadvantage. you would think with such high DPS from conditions there would be a Catch somewhere but look at Rabid, carrion, apothecary, dire etc etc.
they are all defensive and dealing alot of dmg.

some full bunkers do nice Condition damage though. and eventually the bunker always wins.
the damage that the berzerker outputs is outhealed or absorbed to nothing.
when you take into account the following
Block
Regen
Heals
Toughness
Vitality
Evade
Edurance regen
and the countless amounts of Reflect and Negate Damage skills
if it carry’s on the way its going EVERYONE will roll full bunker and no1 will die.
we will all walk around laughing and having endless fights.
its quite hilarious tbh

im full berzerker and im finding near impossible to kill FUll bunkers..
yet bunkers seem to beneift from low condi dmg.. and too much defenese.

we had spent hours preparing to kill scarlet we finnaly killed the 3 knight got into scarlet. on the 3rd phase RIGHT before chest.
i Dc’d and was moved to Overflow.
Really Really kittened off ive wasted hours .

Make an Alive Pet Aura and a DEAD pet aura
Alive Jaguar aura = +5% dmg and stealth every 90seconds
Dead Jaguar aura = +3% dmg and stealth every 60seconds
Alive Bear aura = +10% toughness and vitality Condi cleanse
Dead Bear aura = +5% toughness and vitality NO condi cleanse
Alive Wolf aura= 33% chance to cause fear on crits, Knockdown range increased by 100
Dead Wolf Aura = 10% chance to cause fear, Knockdowns range increased by 300
Alive Drake Aura = Increased Vitailty, Chance to cause blast finisher
Dead Drake Vitailty = Increased Vitailty, NO blast finisher
Alive Moa aura = Allies gain Boons, ranger gets Regeneration
Dead Moa aura = Allies gain Regeneration , Ranger gets Boons
This will stop the pets being STOWED and still useable whilst also giving the ranger utitlys and more Support without loosing too much DPS when the pet is dead

Dead Wolf aura = 5% chance to cause fear, Knockdown range increased by 300
Alive Moa Aura = Apply Boons to yourself and allies every 15 seconds, removed Condi every 60 seconds
Dead Moa Aura = Boons only applied to Allies, Condi removed every 30seconds

Alive Spider Aura = Condition Duration is increased by 10% posion is applied every 45 seconds
Dead Spider Aura = Condition duration is increased by 5% posion is applied every 30 seconds

Dead Drake Aura = 10% chance to cause Blast finisher, Vitailty increased by 3%

i just wanted to add my opinion of the class. i myself have Mained Ranger. " 450 days played 1k+ hours"
Pets are the sole purpose of our issues. i had mentioned before hand about an " aura" for stowed pets ( search my forum history) couple months back.
the problem which i have now come to realise is that if this comes to pass. everyone will Stow there pet.
wouldnt it be better if the pet provided an aura regardless if it was stowed or not, but tone it down accordingly and keep it active through Death of the pet?
for example
Jaguar Aura = the ranger does 5% more damage and every 90seconds applys Stealth for 2 seconds
Dead Jaguar = Ranger does 3% more damage and every 60seconds applys Stealth for 4 seconds
Dead pet= Defensive aura
Alive pet = Offense Aura

if you take into account how long Gw2 has been up and running to the quick death of Zhaitan
it is logical to assume that a new elder dragon will be annouced, and with the “pale Tree” and " Sylvari" and " Scarlet" all being nature based and " Green"

we know there are several Elder dragons
Kralkatorrik – Crystal Dragon ( currently in Crystal dessert) = Killed Glint and snaff
Primordus – " fire" dragon ( first of all the dragons to wake up ) = currently underground
Jormag = “Ice” dragon ( Currently in the northen reaches of shiverpeak mountains)
Zhaitan = Undead Dragon ( in Current lore he is "" DEAD "" …….. )
Mordremoth = Jungle Dragon ( name unknown, whereabouts unknown)
- sixth dragon** = Unknown dragon ( unknown )
my theory is that the pale tree. is infact the essence of the Jungle dragon or maybe the jungle dragon itself.
Scarlet who had figured this out and had seen it. became corrupted and tormented by the truth.
what do you guys think??

Well our WvW is weak now. Almost no players.

Pve , spvp and wvw should be seperately changed.
This whole change is 90% because of pve.
If u play zerker in pvp you suck because of lack of defence, the offense we have makes up for the loss.
Reducing our dmg by 10% is like someone removing 1 of my traits “steady aim- 10% more dmg while endurance full”
Bunkers reduced damage taken from 40%-70% currently with this patch it’ll be even more reduction.
I’d be happy if there was a wvw set for gear like spvp that hasn’t got the crit change,
I should not be effected because of pve speed runs

A small change like this is a big change for someone who simply chose a gear stats on crit.
If I knew it would be changed to " get in line" with others I would of just gone for a bunker or condition set instead.

I think the refund shud only apply to ascended. It’s still a change. Like I said before I chose the zerk gear for the crit stat
Now there will be a new crit main stat gear and zerker havin it’s crit reduced it’s like I said before I feel like the effort put into gettin zerk is pointless. Now they announced there’s a new gear type main stating ferocity and zerker gettin reduced crit.
I’ll just go around and refrain for 4 months to get another set of gear. No thanks

If this was real you are giving up rampage as one for a piercing arrow or signets grant might on use trait.
You lose stability and gain more offensive abilitys which in the current power ranger builds is probably the worst thing possible.
We lack defence.

It took me 3 months of casual play to get 68 wins on my ranger for spvp, it took me 4 weeks of casual play to get the same on my warrior.
If that is t enough evidence then u clearly haven’t played Warrior

It may be the highest dps still but you will find it will only be by 5% and that 5% is nothing when your defense is reducing damage by 40%
And conditions stay healthy.
I’d understand if they buffed the defense of the crit damaged stats but they havent.

I’d like to point out my play style was dependent on surprising my enemy with a big crit.
And then to flurry them down.
However with tht big crit turning out to be reduced by 10% as well as flurry in skills.
It’s better if I were to surprise my enemy with a surge of conditions as a surprise attack.
Let’s say at the moment I hit for 8000 on a crit and have no defense , next patch it will be reduced by 800+
Whereas the full stack of condition can do 6k-7k per couple seconds whilst being very defensive
Condition specs have no flaws both dps and defense. Nothing is sacrificed unlike zerker

I can’t stress enough how quickly this game changes builds.
But as soon as they change gear. They destroy the time effort and gold we the players put into acquiring them.
A build only requires a respec,
Gear requires gold, months of play time
Which all of us are not prepared to sacrifice all because of some speed runs with heavie zerkers.
If anything they should fix the heavie classes dps output not gear stats

Most the time I got killed for takin full zerker but now it’s a sure fact it’s purely death as a zerker.
Power creep is one thing but the synergy from zerker a stats works so well because of the crit dmg but now it’s lackluster comparing how little defense it now has.
Takin this from a ranger zerker point of view and you’ll know what I mean.

I picked zerker because of the DMV it outputs, I struggle with tanks classes in wvw as it is. So with this nerf It will be even harder to kill them.
I think the while reducing damage and increasing tanks stuff is ridiculous.
If it carrys on like this we will have everyone running around with condition tanky specs and there will be 24 hour stale mate duels

It’s ascended gear that took weeks for just 1 piece. I don’t care about exotics. Im upset that my ascended gear that cost me a lot of money gold is now useless in my eyes of stat I chose.
I chose zerker because it was the best for me at the time but now a condition bunker is better.
Why should I play another 4 months to get a full set of rabid ascended to only have that get nerfed and the cycle continues.
Gear should be refunded…

I’d like to say, I’m the only guy I know that has a rank legend ranger In wvw. My main role in wvw party’s is to scout and take camps.
The ranger is not welcome in pvp battle but because of bear bow it’s fairly effective to kill npc at camps.
If the class had major pet changes and better ranges abilities you might find more in actual pop fights in wvw. Barrage is quite lackluster unless you are zerker but even then you will only see 2.5k crit per tick and retal kills you.
If pets were considered an extension of the ranger instead of an Ai npc. The ranger class would be OP. This is where the class is classed as broken. A slight buff makes it OP.
A slight nerf makes it UP.
Keepin the class where it is at the moment keeps it In it’s UP state.
Basically the range class is too sensitive to changes, this is why the class needs changes in a overhaul level

i chose full ascended Zerker gear because i get 127% crit damage.
it was the sole purpose that i chose it.
now with that stat changed. i feel like all that money( gem store and ingame) was a waste.
i don’t feel safe working towards gear that can later be changed in patchs.
we should be given a refund or Gear aspect change to compensate for thei MAJOR change. it only makes sense.
if there is no refund or gear change, and this Ferocity stat is completely lackluster.
i can safely say ill just wait for Elder Scroll online and be done with this Jigsaw puzzle of a game.

i chose Zerker as top DPS. but with the 10% reduction in dps to zerker gear.
i find that Dire, carrion or Rabid gear will provide better DPS.
we all play the game how we want. and with these changes, and all the effort i put into getting acended zerker gear.
i feel cheated.
i would like to be able convert my gear to a tanky condition. ( dire , Rabid, carrion )

i like the idea of having pets being called for 30 seconds- 60 seconds by pressing the F1 button
F1 = DPS pet
F2= Defensive pet
F3 = Condition pet
F4 = Utility pet
each with different skills that benefit the ranger for a cooldown.

If we have to keep pets active. at least make the pets that can fly… actually fly up walls and keeps!
or give us the option to not have pets but have a passive bonus to the ranger (depending on the pet we have stowed.)

being a ranger with a pet at the moment is like decreasing our level by 10

Opening strike ( always Crit)
Food buff ( +100 Attack power + 10% crit)
Sharpening stone ( 50-100 AP )
Bloodlust buff ( 250 Attack power)
Path of Scars = Win?
