I was playing just fine about half an hour ago, then I got disconnected and now I can’t log in.
I can get to character selection, but attempting to log in with any of the characters gives me varying errors. The most common one is 5:11:3:157:101.
I’ll update with others as I see them. I assume this is just me as no one else is complaining about the game being down.
Just got Error 58:11:5:504
UPDATE: I’ve tried the fix from the support site regarding error 58, and I just got error 5 again (as above). I know the ports are open on the router as I’ve been playing since launch.

I know it’s hard to be critical of something you’ve spent a chunk of money, but I really don’t think it will run “everything” brilliantly apart from GW2.
I’ve been building computers for years and it’s easily the worst new platform since the Pentium 4.
If you have an AMD that isn’t one of the old Phenom X4s, you’re not gonna have a good time. They’re just not cut out for gaming – especially the late 2012 releases and going forward.
The Bulldozer and Piledriver platforms are just woeful.
I bought a new 670 this week, and the first time I tried to play the game I was getting frames in the 30s with auto detect.
Here’s what fixed it;
In game settings;
1) Turn off limiter
2) turn off Vsync.
Nvidia Control Panel
GW2 Specific Settings
1) Vsync off
2) Triple Buffering off.
After doing this, my lowest FPS is in the high 40s in the middle of Lions Arch. Everywhere else averages comfortable in the 70s, or in the 60s with supersampling on.

Just got disconnected in the Black Citadel. Can’t log back in. Sometimes the launcher can’t log in, most of the time I can select a character but get a network error after that.
Error code is 58:11:5:504

Are any of you guys playing with vsync? That dipped my performance into the 30s for some reason. Make sure it’s off both in game and Nvidia CP.

Why did you buy a 240 8 months ago?

Newly bought GTX 670 here. I can run everything on full and never get below 50FPS. This is using the latest official drivers. If I turn reflections off the lowest the frames go is high 60s.
Ah, I see. I didn’t realise guesting wasn’t working yet. Thanks.
I don’t really want to change servers as he’s on one for AU players and I’m in the EU. I don’t know how good the ping will be.
I’m on Whiteside Ridge, he’s on Isle of Janthir. He wanted to invite me to his guild, but when he clicks on the + button, nothing happens. No error message, the name is removed from the box but no invite is sent.
I tried forming a party with him but there was no “join” option when I right clicked on his portrait (his portrait was also just a silhouette even when he was online).
I made a guild and tried to invite him, the invitation is pending on my guild screen, but he has not received the invite.
Any help?
