The event just started.. it’s an entire month long… there will be more to do. The point of my post was not about the actual content of the event itself, but rather new gameplay additions or changes added. Maybe read my post next time before commenting?
Nobody finds spamming F fun. They also buffed the hologram mobs by the way, in case you didn’t read patch notes. And just because you can no longer flip T6 dust for absurd profit doesn’t mean the patch was a failure.
I’m sure I’m not the only one who’d rather be able to farm for an item I want rather than have it locked to cash shop RNG. So in that regard, it’s a vast improvement – regardless of your preferences on farming.
So a couple things:
Your post is commending Anet for the changes in the new patch, placing an emphasis on how RNG boxes are received. I mention these changes, as well as how you attain these boxes and the wings, namely, via farming, luck or buying. So I don’t know why you think I didn’t read your post.
Secondly, I don’t know what your personal success has been with these RNG boxes, but there are MANY posts on the forums of people paying a lot of money for rich coffers, and not getting a jade weapon ticket. Additionally, others have opened thousands of the normal dragon coffers, and also haven’t received a ticket and may never receive one. That’s a lot of time, gold or money for nothing. So I don’t think that these people would agree this is necessarily such a great “change”.
Yes, I know the hologram mobs have been buffed- now I wait 5 seconds and kill them in 2 hits. I don’t see how this is any more fun than 1-shotting them.
You can certainly farm Zhaitaffy for the holographic wings. Assuming that you get 250 taffies an hour, it’s going to take you 400 hours of strait farming to attain them. That’s almost 17 days of playing 24/7. It can be purchased for a decent price as you mentioned, but that’s the only new item except for minis that’s directly purchasable. The shattered wings require grinding and gambling achievements, which I have already mentioned in my previous response.
These are, IMO, not good changes in the right direction.
Lastly, I already recognized and expressed hope in my post that the upcoming additions will be more entertaining, not just simply “more to do”. I hope that those changes will be the ones “in the right direction” (although I’m not going to hold my breath).
But I think the game does match the manifesto.
I laughed pretty hard when I read this. Stop making excuses and reading into things. The game doesn’t match the manifesto, no matter how many times you or others say it does- people here have provided good examples of why it doesn’t. The implications of this, however, are up for debate.
Please go to the Tech Support and add your situation to the long list of multiple threads regarding this new lag that only occurs at certain times of the day in all aspects of the game. You are not alone, hundreds have posted about this.
The more attention this receives, the more likely they’ll be in a hurry to fix it.
IMHO, running around in Lion’s Arch for hours pressing F, betting 50s on a virtual race that I have zero control over, eating 250 pieces of candy, activating holograms with mobs killed in 1 hit, introducing a drastic change that caused one item’s price to crash in a matter of minutes and only being able to achieve the newest rewards via farming, luck, or buying with gold isn’t exactly my idea of a good patch so far. It has already gotten old.
I’m just curious, how do people find any of these activities fun, challenging and rewarding? Doesn’t all this grinding and farming bore you out of your mind?
With that said, I am having fun with the Dragon Bash if the groups aren’t filled with AFKers (seems to always be at least one). Let’s hope that the upcoming additions do indeed have more “real” fun content, or it’s going to be a long stretch to the next new update/event.
Lag started at 10:10 AM PST time (19:10 CET).

I don’t quite understand the point of this post. There are so many variables at play here that aren’t given any attention. The most obvious detail might be the builds, traits and utilities. Secondly, you base your conclusions off of subjective play over a simple one minute period. Give us many, many more details, and then let’s talk. Until then, there’s little point in discussing this.
And as a side note, with specific traits and sometimes the help of utitilies, a thief can permanently be stealthed, but they have to continually be active in order to achieve this. I don’t see how this could be unintended since it’s so easy to do for anyone who knows this class, and I assume the devs knew that.
Ît took them 8 months to recognize and deal with the permastealth/culling issues. For an even bigger issue like this they might need 1-2 years so please, be patient people.
Culling existed since the beginning of the game. This issue, however, just began for most people very recently. It should be easier to retrace their steps of what was changed in order to find out what’s wrong and fix it.
By the way, it’s obvious you don’t have this issue or you would realize really how unplayable the game is. If it would indeed take 1-2 years, people will just leave.

This problem is much worse than rendering issues once were for wvw and pvp, and look how much attention that received. Here, we get nothing.

Did anyone else notice the lag kick in even earlier than usual today? It did for me… This is so frustrating, and the lack of a response makes it even more so.
I’m just curious how many of these updates with RNG boxes that have rare drops is it going to take before people learn to stop buying them if they don’t like it in the first place? You are only encouraging this type of content release in the future. After flame and frost and Southsun, you know the likely consequences of buying these new chests (getting next to nothing), so stop complaining about it here on the forums and just don’t buy them in the first place.
Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.
Yes, I’ve also noticed inconsistencies in drops. Often I get good drops back to back when I haven’t even had one single good drop for a significant amount of time. Each time I think, what are the chances to get the same t6 items 3 drops in a row, and then get junk for another 100 drops, rinse and repeat. It’s not always like this, but there’s definitely a strong tendency for this scenario, at least for me. I’m too lazy to actually do the math though to calculate what the chances would actually be. But I know they are very, very slim, and yet it happens quite regularly.
Now that this will be nerfed with the loss of the MF buff, I thought I just might mention that publicly posting great farming spots like this only decreases the profits you can make because you have to compete against so many other people both at the spot itself and on the trading post. Additionally, the more popular it becomes, the faster Anet will nerf the area.
In other words, if you like your farming spots, it’s best to keep it to yourself or spread the news of it selectively if you intend on being able to continue using it. Luckily, the news of this particular spot publicly got out late, and some people obviously didn’t know how to farm it properly or didn’t want to bother with it underwater. I’m not trying to tell anyone what they should or shouldn’t do, but you might want to keep this in mind if you bump into a good farming spot in the future.
With that said, I agree that it is a shame the game has come to this point.
Yeah, I’ve had that at times too with zergs since launch, but this is different since it occurs at all times regardless of how many people are around. Many people are having this problem and Anet has remained silent.
This game is pretty much unplayable for me now in all aspects (WvW, PVP, PVE) in the late evenings (euro time) due to 1-2 sec skill lag and rubberbanding around the screen when trying to move. The weirdest part is that I have none of these problems when I play during the day. It seems that many people are having this problem. One of the recent patches did this. Can we please get some type of ETA on when this product we paid for (and some continue paying for via gems) might be fixed?

No matter what A-net decides to do, there will be people who will complain and rage. It already happens here daily about all of the items that can only be received via farming, gems, gold or RNG. There are plenty of skins that can be earned through these paths. I think that the best way A-net can appease everyone as much as possible is by having a balanced reward system- something for everyone in all aspects that the game has to offer.
For example, how can we tell if someone is a parkour-style jumping puzzle professional? There is no way of knowing. There are some players who find this aspect of the game especially entertaining. Why can’t those players who master this particular part of the game be rewarded in a way that will help identify their accomplishments, like a pair of shoes with wings on the back or something? It gives a goal for those players, which adds another element of fun to the activity itself by giving more depth and meaning to the activities that they actually accomplish. In doing so, it indirectly offers more longevity to the game. I guess that players are already being rewarded with achievements, but it’s hard to wear your achievements on your sleeves with pride.
I understand that providing unique rewards for completing challenges won’t be easy, and getting a “perfect” balance isn’t really plausible. But at least trying to offer more rewards that require an effort with any form of skill involved is better than the current system in place- virtual dress-up with skins bought, farmed/grinded or received by just getting lucky.
This seems to be a problem for many people since the southsun updates. There are numerous threads on this rubberbanding effect. Some often notice it occurring after a specific time of the day.
One question- do you happen to be playing on a US server, and are from a different country? I’ve noticed that the great majority of players who are reporting this problem tend to be in this situation, more specifically from Europe.
Edit- I notice that you are playing on an EU server. Nevertheless, the above observation still stands.
This has also been happening to me at about the same time every day, which I’ve also noticed is about 3 PM PST. It’s just like you said- a 1 to 2 second skill lag and my character not able to move fluidly and literally stuttering around. I do live in Europe and play on a US server, but I haven’t had any problems like this with the exception of some huge zerg fights and I’ve been playing since before launch. But this occurs now anywhere on the map, regardless of how many other players are around. This also started occuring just within the last week after one of the recent patches and is the worst in WvW.
Considering that solo roaming is the main activity I take part in, this is pretty much ruining my gaming experience. It’s simply unplayable unless you like dying all the time and not hitting your opponent even when you’re standing right behind them.
Both of those are great ideas and would make this game much more fulfilling and fun.
The fractals skins are a perfect example of how they could have implemented rewarding players for completing progressively more challenging content. Similarly to the different version of the capacitor, they could have made different versions of the fractal weapons, one without effects obtainable after level 30, another with effects after level 40 and so forth. No, this wouldn’t eliminate grind, but it at least gives players a challenge and goal to work towards, and rewards them for doing so.
Not everyone can actually complete level 50 fractals, so those skins would actually mean something. This is better than the situation now, which doesn’t show anything about how a player achieved their skin. Is the player level 60? Or has he just been running their level 30 daily for months? Or did he just get lucky doing level 20 the first time? I’m not saying that this is the perfect example of how to reward players, but I think this suggestion is better than the current RNG system in place.
I’ve recently taken a different direction in the game from mainly solo roaming in WvW and playing sPVP (both hot-join and tournaments), and have been trying to make my characters cosmetically look better. I’ve found a number of different weapons and armor that appeal to me, and have already obtained many of them. I’m still working on my fractal capacitor, but have recently stopped since I may like the upcoming dragon wings better anyway at likely zero costs (500 ectos??? wat?).
In the search for trying to update my characters I realized that there are basically no skins out there that really stand out and say to me, “Wow, he’s got one of those- He’s a bad kitten. I want to try and get one.” The closest to that for me was the fractal capacitor, but even that can be achieved by simply grinding through Fractals, whether you’re good at it or not. We do have legendaries, but in my opinion, these do not involve overcoming any admirable feat to actually obtain. When I see someone with a legendary weapon I simply think that person has a lot of extra time on their hands, has deep pockets and/or is just really lucky. None of these attributes are exactly appealing to me and because of that, I’m not really interested in obtaining any of the legendaries (I don’t really like the look of most of them anyway).
I am looking for challenges in this game, and the items that reward those who overcome those challenges. I feel like there is a major flaw in this beautiful game because both of these aspects are missing in it. I’m not interested in items that involve mindless, boring grinds, RNG, or real-life money. Having those in the game is fine. But additionally, I want to be able to get items that I can show off. Without this, I honestly just feel like I’m playing a dress-up game with virtual dolls when choosing how to customize my characters. Maybe the next professions should include Barbie and Ken
.
Perhaps I’m missing something, and there are some cool skins that are indeed a challenge to obtain. If this is the case, please fill me in.
Love the music! lol
I searched the forums but haven’t found anything. Is the animation bugged? I’ve come up against a couple different warriors today in wvw while roaming and I’m suddenly getting hit by hundred blades, but there is no animation for it. I can hear it after it starts hitting and it also registers in the combat log, but the warrior is just standing in one place- the sword isn’t making any movement like it typically does.
I’ve been away for a few months, and am surprised to see the same posts with misunderstandings as back then, lol.
It was already tested and confirmed- Bomber is correct, even with the “killing machine” part
.
In my opinion, yes.
I totally agree with the OP’s points, and I think it affects this game in a negative way more than people realize. Down state in its current form is only good for bad players because they aren’t punished for bad play as long as they’re around other teammates. Why Anet would encourage bad play, I don’t know.
If I am downed, I personally feel like I already “lost” and I think it’s really cheesy that I can then get back up so easily if other people are around (or if something/-one I hit earlier dies). If I get downed, it’s because I messed up or the opponent(s) is better, or as in most cases, I was overwhelmed. Regardless of why, I deserved to go down and it shouldn’t be so easy for me to get back up, let alone with half my health and absolutely no penalty on top of that. It also should not take longer to stomp someone than it does to revive them.
Down state lets (semi-)glass cannons get away with their play style in a group setting with few consequences. A thief in my guild almost every time when encountering an opposing group in wvw will steal-haste-pistol-whip and down 1-2 players and then he goes down himself within 3 seconds. No joke- almost every time. And then he proceeds to shout out directions while he’s throwing stuff on his backside. I’ve talked to him about buffing up his defense a bit, but that’s not the point here. His group of course saves him, he gets revived and credit for kills that in my opinion he didn’t even deserve. There should be a greater penalty for him so he stops such cheap and lazy game play. This kind of mindset only encourages zerging even more, which is currently one of the biggest problems of this game, whether people like it or not. This tactic also makes PVE easier, as was already mentioned.
Down state in its current form is simply lame and if you like it as it is, well, too all his own, but in my opinion you should probably really learn how to be a better player so you don’t have to rely on it in the first place.
Actually some of them are direct counters to a thief being able to go into stealth. The others are a counter to a thief being able to position himself for backstab in stealth. And some just simply down a thief while stealthed. So yes, they are counters to a thief using stealth. If you still continue to think that they aren’t counters to stealth, than that probably explains why you’re having problems with it.
I agree that the mug-cnd-(lightning or fire proc)- backstab combo is a bit over the top and should be taken down a notch- but this has nothing to do with stealth. Even if you could somehow see a thief in stealth, 9 times out of 10 it wouldn’t make a difference for this combo anyway because it’s so quick and effective.
I think that there are different ways to interpret “one-shot”. Please correct me if there’s an official definition to “one-shotting”. I consider it having a significant portion of my health taken down to 0 unexpectedly in a very short amount of time. On my thief for example, I would say anything from about 13k hp (about 2/3 my total HP) and above down to zero in a span of 1-2 seconds. Maybe you have a different definition of “one-shotting”. Based on my definition, every profession can 1-shot you if you’re in a group setting because your health is likely lower than max. It happens all the time in hot-join- even with guardians.
I personally have no problem fighting thieves with stealth. I used to in the beginning, until I improved. Now I even like fighting other thieves- it’s a fun mind game, and it doesn’t require the type of counter you’re suggesting, which would make stealth totally useless. And if stealth becomes useless, than the whole profession becomes useless. What’s funny is that your Mug-CnD-Backstab combo (the main complaint) would still exist.
If you’re having problems getting one-shotted by thieves than maybe you’re not dodging properly (dodging when unnecessary and having nothing left when you really need it for example) or don’t have a stun breaker on your utility bar (I realize you can’t always dodge it). I used to hate fighting burst builds on my thief until I discovered how to use shadowstep properly. Now I rarely have problems unless utilities and dodge are on cooldown- but then I probably deserved to die by then anyway and I just hope that stealth can pull me out of the situation.
If I can learn how to deal with stealth, than theoretically so can anyone else. And by the way- I don’t use a backstab setup on my thief.
Stealth is not going anywhere- Anet has made that clear. So you should maybe use some of the suggestions I’ve made and see how it works out for you rather than complain about it on the forums. The suggestions you’re making would simply be overkill. If you don’t believe me, than go duel someone while you’re in a party together (they can see you in stealth). You will see how worthless the class becomes then.
Maybe this should be moved to the thief section…
Counters to a thief in stealth: Conditions (especially if they don’t have removal on stealth, which many don’t), Chill, AOE in general, dodging after a given amount of time the thief was in stealth, Knockback/Push, Knockdown, Pull, Aegis, Block, Invincible, Stuns, Invulnerable, Blowout, traps/Immobilize/Entangle, Teleport/Stunbreaker, Cripple, Blinds, Daze, channeled attacks as thief is going into stealth and most importantly- anticipation of what the thief will do next (backstab? tactical strike? sneak attack? run?) and have a plan for each possible outcome. This can only be learned with experience.
Any profession has the capability of 1-shotting you in a “team fight”, not just the thief.
By the way- I use shadow refuge about 70% of the time offensively in pvp.
The bottom line is: stealth shouldn’t be the reason to not implement other pvp modes.
I would be happy with ANY other form of sPVP at the moment. The same old mode is really starting to get tedious. It’s also frustrating in hot-join that the winning team can sometimes have a significantly lower amount of total points compared to the losing team- what kind of a reward system is that?
And btw, although off-topic: there are actually quite a few indirect counters to stealth. PM me or go to the thief forums if you want some tips. Better yet- play a thief yourself for a while with the intent of stealthing as much as possible and you’ll look at it from a whole new perspective. But let’s not turn this thread into another one of those…
No, it hasn’t been fixed yet. But we have finally received a reply though:
I think some people are over-dramatizing the “issue”. Exotics are still perfectly viable. And tbh its your skill as a player, not a minute increase in stats, that determines the effectiveness of your character and build. You can still change up your stats quite a lot with changing all your other gear. Its not like your build stands or falls on the ascend items.
Yes, some stat increases are nice, and I would get them myself, but really, I can still play however I want to effectively.
I would not mind more variety, but if you want to see an improvement, put forth a constructive criticism post, not a whine, and you might see more success. I really don’t think the tone in certain posts here is a good idea to bring this to light (talking about the more whiny, “I am a victim, woe is me” type of posts).
My build depends on gear that hasn’t been released yet. I cannot utilize any of the new gear without gimping myself. For the time being, no, I don’t need ascended gear to be competitive. But we are now seeing a trend in ascended gear that’s being released with different and limited stats than what was used before.
In the future if I’m going up against another build decked out with ascended gear, and I’m only in exotic- than yes, I will be at a notable disadvantage regardless of my skill. Builds that utilize this new ascended gear do and will continue to have more of an advantage. This will drive me to likely abandon my current build to go to one that uses the ascended gear, as will others, which leaves us with less versatility in the Guild Wars community.
If you had actually read the original OP, you would see that this thread is not “a whine” as you put it, but a few simple questions that have yet to be answered about the future of gear and viable builds. Your (provoking?) comments about how skill is more important than gear, although generally correct, is not the issue of this thread.
The people who leave posts that you read as “I am a victim”, are simply expressing their concerns and telling Arenanet how these changes affect them. This is constructive criticism. The tone is generally one of frustration because Arenanet continues to be silent on an issue that was already raised over two months ago and their advertising of the new ascended amulets was misleading.
I think they left out “knight, cleric, etc” thing from the merchant because (maybe) in the future, we can craft ascended gear (if you see in crafting filter, it has ascended below exotic). The problem is when will Anet implement it ?
That would make sense, but then it begs the question of why Berserker wearers are so privileged? Is it because they feared the likely larger backlash that would have come from the community due to the (I’m assuming) larger population that wears it if they wouldn’t have implemented it? It just doesn’t make sense, which is why people are concerned and asking questions on this forum with the hope of some response.
Ah, and channeling moves also still hit a thief (all of it) if you started the skill as the thief is going into stealth. If their dodge is down- they will eat all of the damage. Personally I think this shouldn’t be the case (imagine a guardian puttung up a shield, but still being able to be hit through it anyway), but it’s a viable tactic that I’ve noticed many rangers, rifle warriors, and mesmers already use a lot.
(edited by Zerbo.5381)
My best advice would be to develop a thief, go to the Heart of the Mists, make one of the cookie-cutter builds, play it for a while with a focus on trying to use stealth as much as possible. Once you’ve learned how to use stealth yourself, fighting against it is actually not that bad and can even be fun. My main is a thief and I personally love the subsequent mind game that comes with fighting a good thief who goes in and out of stealth. Stuns, blocks, fears, knockdowns, immobilize, dodge, teleporting, and stealthing yourself are all your friends when fighting a thief. Don’t let them get the stealth off in the first place and you have a very fragile, exposed and panicked thief…
Please keep the discussion on topic. The devs need to see that many in the community are not happy about this and going off topic only distracts from the main issue, namely, the lack of stat options in ascended gear and the danger it presents to many builds.
From the Flame and Frost Prelude description: “With 5 new Utility Infusions and 30 Ascended Amulets to choose from, there’s something for every style of player.”
It’s funny to read this now. Reading statements like this and then seeing what is actually implemented really makes me question how in-touch the Anet team is with its own game.
(edited by Zerbo.5381)
Since this is simply a side issue of the larger one (not a large variety of ascended gear) that is being discussed in this thread
( https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Ascended-amulets-and-ascended-items-overall/ ),
perhaps a moderator should combine the two. This is not just an issue with healing gear. For example, if another set of ascended gear is released without carrion (or at least some rampager), I will likely then go the route of berzerker with my thief in order to then remain competitive in wvw, which I don’t want to do.
I’m also trying to justify it Mackdose, and you came up with some interesting ideas. But honestly, I don’t think they’re putting much thought into it unless it’s a strategy to give people a greater incentive to play future material. Some of these stat combos make absolutely no sense. And considering they implement new gear that doesn’t even work (giver’s) and then don’t bother to change it, I sometimes wonder if they know what the hell they’re even doing when it comes to gear stats.
(edited by Zerbo.5381)
Yeah- you’re right. We probably shouldn’t “be patient” anymore, but what can we do? People were already frustrated about this exact issue 2 months ago and nothing has changed.
The current amulets simply coincide with the rings that were introduced with the fractals. When they create additional ways to obtain ascended gear, it’s likely that we’ll get the other combinations of stats. Nevertheless, for the time being, it is frustrating that none of this new, shiny gear is any good for my build (carrion/rampager gear). It only discourages people from even trying to obtain the gear (which means less people play fractals and do dailies), and if people really want to wear ascended gear over exotic, it makes even less builds viable.
But for now I’m going to be patient and hope that further stats are released with the upcoming expansions in February and March. One thing is clear- if this is the extent of stat possibilities for ascended gear, you can kiss some builds goodbye because they won’t be able to compete on the same scale as others that have ascended available.
…Arenanet and I’m not happy about it. The giver’s weapon’s main stat (condition duration) is still not working. No one at their company seems to care that they introduced flawed items and they obviously don’t care about the people who wasted 30g by buying them, putting sigils on them and having them soulbound.
There has been no admittance that these items are indeed bugged nor any word that a fix is underway despite them being in the game and broke for 6 weeks running. If another player had ripped me off by 30g, you’d bet that they would be reprimanded in some way by Arenanet- What hypocrisy!
There have been multiple posts on this and many other people are in the same boat as myself. How has Arenanet responded? With total silence- not even an apology for the freaking inconvenience. I was patient and thought that maybe this patch would have fixed the problem. But nope- nothing. Shame on you.
A simple comment from someone at Arenanet of whether the Wintersday items are being looked into or not would be nice. I spent almost 30g on the giver weapons and sigils, which is about $25 worth of gems if I’m not mistaken. If any other company had made a defect item worth $25, then they would either give me my money back or at least try to exchange the item with one that works. Anet hasn’t done either for the likely thousands of customers who are in a similar situation as myself. They haven’t even had the courtesy to admit that these items are not working as intended. As a customer, I find this behavior absolutely ridiculous and very disrespectful. It isn’t fair whatsoever and it really leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
One freaking sentence such as, “We realize this is an issue, and we are looking into it.” goes a long way. Even if you don’t plan to fix it, at least people know so that they can salvage the items for ectos and get sigils/runes back. One thing is for certain- players better look up whether or not newly introduced gear works before you buy/craft it in the future.
(edited by Zerbo.5381)
Is this going to be fixed in the next patch? I just spent 30 gold on buying new weapon sets and sigils and now I come to find out that this is bugged and has been for over a month? It does NOT increase condition duration. I have tested. Has anyone at arenanet at least acknowledged that this isn’t working and that a fix is in progress that will be released very soon? If not, then I kindly ask to be reimbursed please. I only think it’s fair… And just in case it’s not planning to be fixed soon, then what’s the point of even releasing this new weapon set when its main trait isn’t functioning?
Just ascended amulets? what about the rest of the gear?
We will also introduce an additional reward system (or systems) in the future to make these items more accessible to WvW players on top of the laurel system.
The remaining ascended item types will be introduced in future releases, and may or may not tie into the laurel system, TBD.
(Edited to add note about agony)
Thank you very much for filling us in. I do have a question regarding the reward system for ascended gear in WvW. Is it safe to assume that the current system with badges of honor will not be used for the ascended gear? I would hate to spend a bunch of these on new exotic gear that would be obsolete in 2 months…
Thanks
It was awesome, regardless of how bad the others were. Well played. I am curious why you use rune of the necromancy and grenth over additional krait and afflicted? You’re missing out on 54 condition damage. I also don’t understand why you have only stacked 40% bleed duration (30% bleed, 10% condition). Unless you have 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% to coincide with 1, 2, 3, 4 sec additional bleeding, respectively, you’re wasting stats. May I suggest 2 mad kings (10% condition duration), which will put you at 50% for bleeds, and an additional 10% for your poisons. 2 Centaurs (15% bleed duration) would put you over 50% (55%) for bleeds, but won’t help the poisons and wastes 5%.
I agree Dee Jay- that is the most frustrating part about this build. Down state in general is only good for bad players in my opinion.
PS- How did I accidentally underline that?
(edited by Zerbo.5381)
Almost 6000 views on this thread- that’s probably the reason for the high sellout…
Nice playing and good use of skills on both weapon sets. Have you tried using shadowstep instead of signet of shadows? You already are getting a small speed boost on evades and you are traited fleet shadow, so I imagine your speed is kept up pretty good throughout an encounter alone with these 2. I noticed towards the end of your video you had to eat quite a bit of damage from the warrior, which of course could have been avoided with that extra utility.
@ Negated. I’ll admit it’s saved me a few times also, but it’s killed me much, much more often. So how have you gotten “used to it” and how do you “understand” the CD? How are you able to know if someone is going to hit you while you’re in the middle of a CnD that will put you under that 25%? And please share how you can keep track of the CD timer in the middle of battle on top of that.
I have a feeling that the only people who are fine with it are those who don’t use CnD much. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
