Grimms.9016 (Seven Mirror) currently runs a very similar build. In fact, I think the gear choices, including runes and sigils, are actually identical. The trait point distribution is also the same, although you two have some slight variability in Major Trait choices and Utility Skill options. (Most notably, he uses Deceptive Evasion, but I completely understand why you’ve decided not to)
Some fun gameplay videos here: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/mesmer/Seven-Mirror-WvW-Mesmer-05-26-13/first
I’ve tried this build out and it’s very survivable while steal dealing some nice damage. My main issue with it is mobility – Swiftness does wonders in World versus World. Blink helps, but doesn’t quite fulfill the same role.
Null Field is great for the reasons you’ve outlined, (Condition removal, Boon stripping, extra Ethereal Combo Field) but the recast is a little long for my tastes. I often feel a little cheated on the duration too, since it doesn’t seem to last as long as its tool tip indicates.
I’d encourage you to try out Mimic, especially since you’re using the Dueling III trait and often find yourself in 1vX fights. You might find that 4 seconds of channeled blocking will give you a pretty sweet Retaliation duration stack every once in a while, and the initial absorb can potentially be triggered by your Staff Clones too.
(Whoops, most of the points about Mimic have already been addressed – sorry for repeating!)
Hey Sinaya, thanks for the reply. Actually, some of this build was inspired by Seven Mirror (love his videos!) so there are definitely a lot of similarities. The main differences are exactly like you said, some trait choices and the utility skills. Although after reading the earlier responses, I’m probably going to try a main hand sword to see how it works with the build. I just like staying ranged, so we’ll see how it works out.
In terms of mobility, I find that I’m incredibly mobile during fights between blink, phase retreat, and my various stealths. This includes running away, since between stealth direction changes and blinking away every 6 seconds I’m very difficult to catch. For swiftness I just keep my bag open and swap in a focus when I’m running around. A minor pain, but not all that bad.
I find Null Field up usually when I need it, but you’re right in that it can be rather situational. I find myself playing with that last utility skill a lot, and I’m pretty excited to try out Mimic when I get home. It seems like it has great synergy here. My power is pretty high, so I should be doing some decent retaliation damage!
Tarnished Coast [Crit]
lol truly pathetic display SOCO commander. Come 1v1 instead of running to your zerg / siege.
Finish the fights you start -worst -necro -ever.
If I’m tagged up, I don’t have time to stop everything and do your pathetic 1v1 call out. It’s about the XP, not the miniscule points I will get for melting you.
But there is no better way to inspire your troops than by displaying your prowess in a true display of what WvW is all about: isolated 1v1 matchups in the open field!

Best way to get anyone to look is to tell them not to. Now I want to siege a keep with an army of Quaggans!
Tarnished Coast [Crit]
Along the same thought, switching the Chaos trait from IV to III here would be another nice boost. You figure with 3 cones out you get 9% reduced damage, but the III trait reduces the cooldown of Mimic by 20%, with the added bonus of reducing the cooldown on Blink. That means that every 20 seconds I have 4 seconds of block (Mimic), and every 8 seconds I have 2 seconds of immunity (Sword 2).
Just goes to show how many possibilities there are, always evolving.
Tarnished Coast [Crit]
@Cygnus – You’re right, I focus a lot on survivability, mainly because I find myself constantly running into 1vX fights. My damage is definitely lower than some of the other builds I’ve run, but I find that I still do plenty of damage enough to drop people rather quickly, unless they’re a bunker build. But between food and the near constant might/fury I get from my sigils and phantasms I do plenty of damage.
The Mimic idea is actually very interesting. Changing Scepter to Sword would also make the IV trait in Dueling even more beneficial, adding to my DPS quite a bit. I’ll have to try this out when I get home tonight.
To use Mimic, get as close to your target as possible while spawning 3 staff clones (at least 1 is needed, but more means it’s faster unless you have insane reaction). Activate Mimic, store Wind of Chaos bounce —> Start Blocking everything for 2-3 seconds.
It took me a minute to figure out what you meant here, but also a good idea. If I’m reading it right, you’re saying to activate Mimic when I have staff clones out so that it absorbs the bounce, because the Mimic skill absorbs the first attack and then blocks for the remainder of the cast time. In other words, the sooner the first attack hits, the more blocks you will get, and therefore the more retaliation.
Thanks for the ideas guys!

One of the coolest things about the Mesmer is the sheer amount of viable builds there are. Every time I get semi-bored I either read about or come up with a new build idea to try!
I’m going to use this thread to keep track of the builds I use over time (once I feel comfortable releasing them of course). I’ll post the link to the gear/traits and just give a few notes about how each one works.
Swordplay Build (added 6/10/13)
Traits
10(III)/20(II, IV), 20(IV, X), 15(IV), 5
Gear
Knights/Berserker/Valk Armor, Cavalier Trinkets (I only have two ascended at the moment, but one is P/V/T, which I kind of regret)
Runes of Hoelbrak on armor
Sigil of Battle on MH Sword
Sigil of Accuracy on OH Sword
Sigil of Battle on Staff
And here’s a link of the build in an editor: http://tinyurl.com/k3uw7w4
This build was inspired by a combination of Osicat’s Heavy 2.0, Seven Mirror’s latest build, and some tweaks/preferences of my own. It’s actually funny, because this post originally inspired Seven Mirror to try something new, and when I heard him talk about it on the podcast, it inspired me to try something new as well! Gotta love it.
Anyway, I’ve tweaked this build quite a bit, and I’ve found it gives the perfect balance (for my playstyle anyway) of active defense, passive defense, and damage. My phantasms hit like trucks and I’m incredibly hard to take down. Last week I won a 1v6 with this build by kiting, dodging and distracting the group with a few well placed Decoy/Blinks all while my phantasms wailed on them. It was amazing.
Decoy and Blink are always on my bar unless a specific group situation requires me to switch them, but the third utility is always changing based on the situation. I find myself constantly switching between Null Field, Portal, Arcane Thievery, and Feedback depending on the situation.
That said, you’ll have to take my word for it because my crappy computer doesn’t play well with video recording software. I’m in the process of saving a few bucks to upgrade it, and I promise videos will come immediately after that! I’m dying to get some up here
Scepter/Sword Block Build (added 5/29/13)
Traits
0/30(II, III, IV), 20(IV, X), 15(V), 5
Gear
Knights Armor, Cavalier Trinkets (I only have one ascended at the moment, but it’s P/V/T)
Runes of Melandru on armor
Sigil of Battle on Scepter
Sigil of Accuracy on OH Sword
Sigil of Leeching on Staff
And here’s a link of the build in an editor: http://tinyurl.com/pvqe7n2
The blocks from Scepter/Sword are especially interesting in this build, as you’ll see in just a bit.
For utilities, I use Decoy, Blink, and Null Field. Null Field provides me with great condition removal, boon stripping, and another combo field to grant Chaos Armor with either Phase Retreat or the iSwordsman. I’ve been toying with replacing this with Signet of Illusions, but I find the utility great and usually end up going back to Null Field.
I take traits II, III, and IV in Dueling. I find that clones on dodge will sometimes kill my phantasms, so i instead took the trait that gives me retaliation on blocks. Between the two weapon blocks and the aegis blocks I get from Chaos Storm, the uptime on Retal is quite amazing,
The Chaos/Inspiration traits work well together, and give me constant regen and protection, as well as extra retal damage.
So there you have it. It’s a blast to play, so try it out, let me know what you think! And of course if you have any suggestions/comments I’d love to hear them!
Sadly my current computer can’t handle recording software at the moment (I plan on upgrading it soon so stay tuned for some videos in the near future) so I can’t show you the build in action, but it’s very effective both soloing and in small groups.
And of course, if you have any questions about my builds, I’d be happy to help out!

Grimms,
Looks like you are running Sceptre/Sword in your latest video (AMAZING btw)
I am just returning after several (5 or more) months off and picking up and dusting off my lvl 80 Mes.
Can you post your build for Sceptre/Sword-Staff? I didn’t see it on the front page.
Seven has stated in previous posts that he usually posts a build after he’s done playing with it. Great method in my mind, can’t give away ALL your tricks!
Now with that in mind, he also said that he’d be releasing the build pretty soon, so stay tuned.
Tarnished Coast [Crit]
If IE is traited, iMage bounces twice. Target gets 3 confusion stacks and 2 closest allies receive retaliation.
This gives me hope to finally justify using the torch in a WvW build! Thanks for the confirmed info, I’ll be testing my new build tonight and probably posting it right after if I deem it worthy =)

I’ve met some awesome people on both DR and NSP these past few weeks. I’m gonna be sad if/when this matchup changes!
Tarnished Coast [Crit]
Dear [TRON] Ranger,
Last time I checked, when two people /bow at each other, it means a duel. NOT a bring-the-other-four-people-in-your-party to gank/stomp me.
You really can’t expect to get a 1v1 right next to one of the drop downs from the waypoint zone in. Was that their drop down or yours? And looking at the emotes, the DR guy cried. Did he do this when the other DR added into the fight? He also bows at the end which looks like an apology to me.
Getting adds in WvW is part of the game. It would be good if people stopped taking it so personally.
I understand adds are part of the game, but the guys that attacked were in his party. I wouldn’t say I took it personally, but I was a bit disappointed by the lack of form. I suppose I can’t always expect people to follow the courtesies.
Also not sure why you can’t expect a 1v1 near the drop down (it was mine btw), it’s just like any other place. Either way it doesn’t matter, I got him back later

Hey Seven,
I was wondering if you could talk about your choice to use the illusion health signet. I’ve heard a lot about how it’s bugged, and it’s active doesn’t seem helpful since you seem to rarely shatter. Do you find that it increases your overall dps a significant amount? And is it worth the loss in utility you’d get using null field or veil?
Thanks and I love your videos!

Osi, I’ve been running this build for a week or so now and I’m really struggling with any sort of tank build. I just can’t seem to get them down, and they just outlast me.
Tanky Rangers and other Mesmers are a big problem. It seems like my burst does nothing or my blurred frenzy misses and i’m stuck with everything on cool down. I want to start recording my game play to review but clearly I’m doing something wrong. Any advice for these opponents?

As for the reason for posting, I only really meant to bring the /laughing to your attention, because I know if someone from [RH] was doing it we’d want to know.
Actually, Zumi, we have a number of long time members who /laugh /dance /whatever. We haven’t ever had a policy of telling people not to do that.
Edit: I don’t hate thieves but I do hate my thief. I can’t kill anyone with mine =( It’s really sad… like, really, really, really sad.
Fair enough. I stand corrected then.

VP fun time at prime time, NSP BL yesterday.
Ahh so VP was the keep Ninja’s last night! Had a blast taking it back. Think our siege placement once we past outer wall turned the tide there. You guys had Watergate siege placement perfect. Learned a good deal from that fight.
Thanks!
I was just saying last night how I’ve never seen a successful Watergate siege. Nice to know people are doing it! I always thought it would be a lot of fun to try.
Tarnished Coast [Crit]
I find it sad that somebody can take something so innocent such as saying that they had fun, and turn it around to flame on a guild. I also find it sad the people get offended by emotes. Most of VP have their emote indicators turned off in chat because we just do not care if people /emote. Do you know for sure it was a player from VP? It could of been somebody from another guild that was with our group.
I apologize that your feelings were so hurt over an emote. Sometimes people do /laugh in response to something said in TS. Heck, I do /laugh just because my asura looks cool when he laughs. So how can you tell if it was directed at you or your group? VP does stuff in good fun, we crave good fights and laughs. We do not think we are better than everyone else like some guilds. Which is the reason you will not see the majority of us making up glory stories of how we beat greater numbers. We respect our competition and look forward to fun battles in the future.
I was pretty specific in my post that I didn’t intend to flame anyone. And I’ve also amended my statement saying that I should have just whispered instead of posted, so sorry about that again.
As for my feelings, I promise they weren’t hurt at all, as I generally don’t care if people emote at all. But with that being said, spamming it repeatedly is generally frowned upon. And you’re 100% right, it could have been someone that was tagging along with the guild, thought about that afterward. In fact, I might just go back and delete that part of my post altogether.
Anyway, sorry if I offended. Lesson learned, and I look forward to having some more fun with you guys on the battlefield.
Tarnished Coast [Crit]
Thanks for the civil replies, I appreciate the respectful responses, it’s nice to see!
As for the reason for posting, I only really meant to bring the /laughing to your attention, because I know if someone from [RH] was doing it we’d want to know. Now with that said, it is possible that a pug that was hiding in the back was the culprit, and looking back, it probably would have been more appropriate to just whisper one of you guys instead of posting it on here, so sorry about that.
As for the sentry point fight, you’re correct there were definitely more people than just [RH] there, but I certainly wouldn’t say we massively outnumbered you. If anything it was relatively even, but a good fight nonetheless.
And in regards to lake, I honestly don’t remember ever wiping there. Although we certainly did retreat once or twice when we didn’t think we had the numbers to fight. No shame in that in my opinion. Either way they were some good fights.
So to sum it up:
*I should have whispered instead of posted, sorry bout that
*The fireworks are indeed awesome
*All around good fights with [VP], I enjoyed them
*I certainly don’t feel sore about anything. To be honest I thought we won most of the fights we had, but that was my perception.
*Sorry if I offended, and thanks for being civil!
On a side note, I’d LOVE to see the video of the lake fight if you have it! I was just saying to our guys last night that I want try and get someone in our guild with a decent enough computer to start recording our fights because they’re always fun to look back on. Let me know if you feel like sharing
Tarnished Coast [Crit]
Awesome vid as always, but that last fight confuses the heck out of me. I see this in Mesmer 1 v Many vids all the time, but how do you find players that are THAT bad??
I understand the the point of our playstyle is to confuse people with clones, and you do a very good job of constantly moving about unexpectedly to confuse them, but at least 80% of the fight not a single person out of the 4-5 players was attacking you…and you were the only one there!
With a fight that long, and with that many players, you’d think at least one of them could figure out which one was you. At least they always do when I’m fighting against those numbers.
/Sigh
Either way, awesome stuff!

Mesmer with two weapons:
- Mainhand creates a clone with one skill (scepter is a special thing)
- offhand creates a phantasms with one skillIf you suggest the #2 Phantasm to instakill its target, no. Do not try to implement instakill features.
If you suggest the #2 Phantasm dies after attacking, no. Illusions are meant to be special spells. Making it “work only once” would make it equal to other classes’ skills.@ #3
You suggest a clone that can mind wrack without dying? 20 times within 10 seconds ?
Dude, the OP’s post was probably the most obviously sarcastic/trolling post ever. So relax, he’s not serious lol

NSP server gets double team by Gom and Dr yet again. Our server is small so lets take advantage of it?
No offense, but it’s not a “double team” every time both servers are in your BL. It’s just the nature of 3-server PvP. We had both servers hitting us hard in our BL all night, it’s gonna happen no matter how big or small your server is.
I agree Taquito, it would have been awesome to just roam and fight SPCA and AD/Btsy/NoQQ groups all night instead of having to worry about defending. I love fighting you guys, always a good challenge and a fun fight.
Speaking of which, to that tanky Engi from SPCA that keeps pulling me into your group, I dislike you sir :-P

(Pet me preface with saying I am currently doing strictly PvE leveling at the moment)
Ahh, my answer was speaking largely from a WvW perspective, so most of my points were relevant to that. There’s an insane amount of utility in those weapons if you’re using them for WvW, but a lot of it is irrelevant for PvE.
The sword #3 skill only has a 600 range, so you have to make sure you’re close enough when you use it or it will fail a lot of the time. I can see why it’d be underwhelming in PvE though.
The iWarden does the most raw damage of any phantasm, but it’s stationary, so obviously it’s uses are limited. It also doesn’t really have an AI, since it just sits there and attacks until its target is killed.
In general it greatly depends on what you’re trying to do. In my experience I find myself categorizing them like this:
MH Sword: Really only useful in PvP/WvW and possibly the occasional invulnerability in PvE.
OH Sword: Phantasm has decent damage. I use it for burst in WvW.
Scepter: I rarely use this. Confusion was nerfed in WvW and confusion as a whole is worthless in PvE, since mobs don’t use nearly as many skills as players. The #3 hits relatively hard though.
Pistol: Probably my favorite straight dps weapon for PvE. I switch to it rarely in PvE for the stun, but that’s about it. I just like other weapons more.
Torch: I play around with this in WvW a lot for the extra stealth. The phantasm is pretty terrible though, so it’s not very often.
Greatsword: I use this all the time in PvE for the good single target/AoE damage.
And I already explained my thoughts on Staff/Focus. Chaos Armor is the best armor in the game, no question, but again, it’s main use comes in WvW and PvP.
Tarnished Coast [Crit]
Easy enough, thanks!
Tarnished Coast [Crit]
Hey guys,
I see people talk all the time about whispering and/or joining a party with players from other servers for duels, etc.
The only way I know how to do this is by knowing their tag. Is there a way to find this for enemy characters? I can’t figure it out for the life of me.
Tarnished Coast [Crit]
I agree that staff is an amazing weapon, and I use it in 100% of my builds, so no argument there.
As for other weapon combos, I fought the focus for a long time, but after learning how to really use it, sword/focus is another all time favorite for me. It’s just so versatile. You can:
Sword:
*Strip boons on the auto attack(clones do this too!)
*Go invulnerable (this has ridiculous uptime when traited)
*Leap/Cripple/Immobilize
*Gain Chaos Armor (if you leap through an ethereal field)
Focus:
*Get swiftness
*Inflict cripple
*Pull enemies in
*Pull enemies off cliffs/keep walls
*Block projectiles (reflect them if traited)
*Damage seige/players on walls with iWarden
*Cleanse conditions (Curtain + iWarden = AoE condition removal!
*Get retaliation (Leap through the curtain!)
*Cause AoE confusion (if you put the iWarden in an ethereal field)
I find myself using Staff and Sword/Focus 95% of the time now because there’s just so much I can do with it. Really the only time I switch out is to get OH sword for a little more burst if I need it.

Tarnished Coast [Crit]
I came to the same conclusion, except I didn’t move over as you did.
My keybinds are:
1, 2, 3, 4, R are weapon abilities
Q – left strafe; W – forward; E – right strafe
A – dodge; S – back; D – dodge
Shift + 1-4 – Shatters
Heal + utilities are Mouse 4-7
Elite is Mouse 3
Wait, you have dodge bound to two different keys? Any reason for that?
Tarnished Coast [Crit]
I personally see getting focused as a compliment. In general the mindset of the players in this type of pvp (whether they’re organized or just pugs) is to go after the biggest threat. And at the moment, that’s us.
I know whenever I’m solo roaming I usually go to the BL of the second place team, just because they’re the biggest threat to our lead. So everyone relax and just enjoy the matchup.

One of your Mesmerized Caster’s Setups:
Holy cow those buttons seem really spread out! You can put them literally wherever you want and you spread them all over the place? Haha
Tarnished Coast [Crit]
This post was inspired by the most recent mesmer podcast, where Grimms talks about his bindings and mentions that he has strafe on R and W, to which Pyro seems very surprised. Turns out Grimm meant to say A and D, but my strafes actually are on R and W, and I find it to be far superior.
I’ve played around with my keybindings quite a bit, and since we tend to use our profession skills quite often, I find them even more important. So I thought I’d share what I’ve come up with, and maybe it could help some aspiring mesmers improve their play a little by making it easier to maneuver.
So without further ado, here is my setup, and I’ll explain a few things in more detail at the bottom:
Movement:
E: Forward
W: Strafe left
R: Strafe right
Dodge: Q
Auto Run: Mouse Button 4 and/or the Up arrow key
Skills Note: I just bought the Razr Hex last week, so I’ll put in my setup with this here, but I’ll also add what I used BEFORE the Hex in italics
Weapon Skill 1: 5 (Seems very odd, but I’ll explain, I promise) – Was 1 before the Hex
Weapon Skill 2: Mouse button 2 – Was 2 before the Hex
Weapon Skill 3: Mouse button 3 – Was 3 before the Hex
Weapon Skill 4: Mouse button 4 – Was 4 before the Hex
Weapon Skill 5: Mouse button 5 – Was 5 before the Hex
Heal: Mouse button 6 – Was 6 before the Hex
Utility 1: A
Utility 2: S
Utility 3: F
Elite: G
Profession Skill 1: 1 – Was Alt+1 before the Hex
Profession Skill 2: 2 – Was Alt+2 before the Hex
Profession Skill 3: 3 – Was Alt+3 before the Hex
Profession Skill 4: 4 – Was Alt+4 before the Hex
Miscellaneous
Use/Search: T
Call Target: C
Take Target: Mouse Button 3 – Was V before the Hex
Weapon Swap: `
Next Target: Tab
Push to Talk: Mouse button 1 – Was pressing scroll wheel before the Hex
Inventory: B
Map: M
Friend Panel: Y
WvW: U
Guild: I
Trading Post: O
Obviously the most glaring difference from most is the shift of the movement keys over one, and the fact that my strafing keys are right next to the move forward key. I found that the resting position for my hand feels much more natural on three side-by-side buttons, than it does resting on W, A, and D. This has saved me a lot of discomfort in the long run, and I highly recommend anyone to give it a shot. In addition, shifting over one key gives me a lot more buttons I can reach comfortably, whereas before my pinky seemed to be going to waste.
The other obvious oddity is the placement of the Weapon Skill 1. Right now I have it placed on 5 just because I don’t really have another place for it. I originally didn’t have it mapped at all, since I can just auto attack by double clicking someone. However, I not only found this difficult to unlearn, but whenever I use something like a ram or when I’m in a downed state, I need to push that skill quite often. If anyone has a suggestion for a better place to put this skill please let me know!
Anyway, that’s my whole setup. Hopefully it helps some people out in their quest to find the perfect keybinds, but I thought this might be helpful to a lot of people, especially mesmers

First off, thanks for this build Pyro. I was running something similar, so I gave it a shot, and (with a few very minor tweaks) I’m loving it! I’m still missing some gear, but I just destroyed a guardian while tanking camp guards/scouts and he barely even touched me….it was awesome.
My question is, in addition to my solo roaming, I often run in guild groups of various sizes (anywhere from 2-15, depending on who’s on, but most often it’s around 4). Do you run with groups using this build, and if so, what do you change?
My initial thought would be to just switch out my utility skills for something like:
Decoy —> Null Field (or portal, depending on the situation)
iDefender —> Feedback
I’m curious what your thoughts on this are. Do you change any traits for groups? Thanks again!

Thanks for the response, that’s what I assumed.
Actually my build is similar to yours in a lot of ways, but not AS tanky.
I have a question for you though if you don’t mind. Do you know if the double retaliation still works on the phantasmal defender? I tried testing this in the mists but I can’t really tell if it worked.
Tarnished Coast [Crit]
I’m putting together a build based on retaliation/reflection and I have a question about the Feedback skill.
I’ve seen people talk about how they sometimes cast Feedback on an ally to protect them from projectiles, but whenever I try to do this (on rams for example to protect them) it seems to place randomly in that direction.
Am I doing something wrong or is it actually not possible to place this accurately on an ally?
Tarnished Coast [Crit]
Holy crap, siege towers would be AWESOME….and would probably break the game :P

It’s really interesting how people have such vastly different experiences in the same matchup.
Tarnished Coast [Crit]
Zerg is a word based on proportions.
1v5 = zerg
2v10=zerg
5v15=zergI know it has been adulterated given the idea that zerging is a play style, not a number, but what most people refer to the word nowadays is the proportion, not the skill level.
Even if you are great at playing your class, have a large group build and your group of 15 rolls absolutely everyone else with equal or higher numbers, even if you don’t just press 1 and actually put effort into fighting large scale battles, you will be considered a zerg based on proportion.
Learn to not take offense to it, because you know who is better in equal fights when you come out the other end alive.
Fair enough, I can understand how it would be interpreted that way. In fact, I’ve probably used the term for groups that size for that same reason. I was mostly just pointing out how happy I am to be in a tier without a ton of 30-50 player zergs running around all the time.
Didn’t mean to sound like I was taking offense, to it. You’re right though, I’m sure a lot of people do take offense to being called a zerg, regardless of how it’s intended.

PAXA should go to GoM to add some fun to this tier
Nah, too zergy for our liking. Nothing against people who enjoy running in 15ish people prime time, just not for us. Hope you’re enjoying the tier though, I know there’s a decent amount of groups that run around in those numbers… also the bad zergs like MoB (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8mhcGMmsNk “GROUP UP” -zergballs- “MOVE IN 3, 2, 1” zergball rolls down a hill) that are easy bloodlust stacks.
Yeah, this is a really bad tier for 5 mans, for sure. Once primetime hits there are some insane numbers moving around at times. I think one of the reasons is because the matchup is very close. In the upper tiers, when there is a blowout the population drops (for all sides) significantly after the first weekend leaving mainly people who PvP just because they enjoy PvP. When that happens, it is pointless to run 10-15 and we typically break off into separate groups. Can’t do that in this tier ATM during the evening.
Hope you get the small-man thing going on T8.
I’m gonna have to disagree with this. I’ve been doing nothing but 5 mans all week (aside from last night, when an unheard of amount of [RH] were online) and I haven’t had a problem at all.
I’ve run into other small groups/skirmishes/3-way fights pretty regularly. It’s part of the reason I’m having so much fun in this tier!
Sure we run into the occasional zerg, but then we either run to our guards or try to make sure we take out at least twice our numbers.
The fact that people are referring to groups of 15+ as zergs leads me to believe that we don’t realize just how good we have it here. After all, it gets boring wiping 5 mans all the time. The occasional 10-15 man group is a welcome challenge
