And Mounts, definitely mounts hype!

If I’m the one making the map design, I too will love it, so much that I want (show off) for other people to see it too.

Also, it makes a good wallpaper.

If having unidentified equip mean that they will be stacked based on their rarities, it will help saving up inventory space, so…

Just like what you mention above, I like to do PVE roaming with my condi minon master reaper (viper and a little sinister)

Change the lingering curse -> parasitic contagion for more immunity to death (Heal 10% of the condi damage per condi damage tick)
- I get almost 2k heal per tick on normal battle.
- If I use epidemic on many mobs and while on zerg I get almost 8k heal per tick depends on the condi damage.

Mainly using the scepter-dagger
- For solo roaming, Flesh golem will take all the damage himself since mobs will usually aggro him
- Rise for maximizing the condi damage with the death nova
- Condi damage debuff will be transfered to minion that will transfer it to attacked monster
- Still do nice condi damage (Bleed only about 5-7k while solo roaming, and there’s other condi damage like poison and torment too)

Note:
I hear that condi reaper will get nerfed (maybe after xpac release) because they plan to make reaper = power, and scourge = condi

But personally, I think it’s okay to choose the necro path if you love the gameplay since game are made for us to have fun

On the map below the lion’s arch, the island is on the center, you have to swim to there

And on the Island, go left from the WP till you see a hill, climb it up and follow the road to get inside the taidha location
Or just follow people from the WP, they will go to the taidha location too most of the time

Also, Join a active and fun guild. Having friend always make things looks different even with the same meta or the same map

- Spider Mount for jumper type (But instead of jump, she shoot web above, like the Oakheart’s Reach mechanic)

- Piggyback or Princess Lift Kasmeer for the blink type

Channeling is always the easiest, watch for youtube tutorial for Mastery Insight

Oh, and keep your eye around the LFG for HP Train, usually start at Verdant Brink. Doing it with zerg always easier, they will usually do it until 250 point reached

If PoF expansion is buyable with gem… that would be neat

I’m having the same problem actually when firstly starting the HoT few months ago, but it’s very easy actually.

I can’t help right now, but here are some tips:

First thing to do is maybe to unlock all the map, wait for an HP Train that are started from Verdant Brink (The first HoT map).
Usually while running the train, you will also encounter a few mastery insight, you will unlock all map by doing it (Train usually go from VB -> AB -> TD -> TD Waypoint right before DS)

For meta, you can go to https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Event_timers or download an android app for checking the meta event time.

Living World:
Currency in LW area is mostly only used for ascended trinkets / nodes
People will usually go in map chat for “blabla pre / event started”, you can ask for the Waypoint link.

The rest is just go along with zerg wherever they go as you learn what to do

- Making Mesmer that are the entire purpose / gear / build is to doing JP or HP train or SW farm

- Making any profesion but with the race I don’t currently have just for the story purpose

A mix range of melee, maybe thief will be good considering their new elite spec.

They will get a deadeye elite specialization on the next expansion (22 sep). and it wield a riffle weapon so It basically a long range sniper.

I don’t have a thief classes but, AFAIK they can wield dagger / sword for melee combat
Thief also have stealth and blink skill to help you run away from enemy

I’m pretty sure that you can’t buy the expansion with gems, but you can upgrade from the standard PoF to deluxe for 2400 gems ($30 vs $25 if you straight up buy deluxe). This was the same with HoT when it was shipped.

A few of my friends have come over from another game recently and are playing on free accounts. They would like to purchase the HoT unlocks but have been holding off until the announcement of the PoF release date.

I just took a look at the bundle postings and they indicate that PoF and the core Central Tyria is included; however, there is not indication of whether the HoT content is as well.

For the weapon, Tequatl can drop it, I also got one from the Karka Queen pre-quest
For the armor, Tripe Trouble Event can drop it

There are some collection like the Ley-Line Armor Collection on the Dragon’s Stand that give you a choose of ascended armor

HoT Story, if finishes give you a Broken Caladbolg that you can do a restore quest to make it an ascended (5 type, and you can re-choose it with 1k unbound magic)

For the Trinket like acc/ring, you can get it from WvW / Living World map
AFAIK the ascended back item that are crafted didn’t have stat like viper/sinister

Keep your mats since you might want to craft one of the ascended armor/weapon yourself

As for me (if you wondering), I got my asc weapon all from tequatl and karka pre-quest, 2 asc armor from Triple Trouble, 3 asc armor by crafting, all trinket from Living World Map

for me personally on the PVE part, “easy” is when you having a high survivability… so things like long range / high health pool / companion… between Ranger and Necro
And for the fun part, what kind of gameplay do you think it’s “fun”?
If doing jumping puzzle, maybe classes like mesmer is nice since they have portal and blink

AFAIK I never heard of that (sorry if I’m wrong).
With the current amount of GW2 good player population, I think it’s non-likely to see they bring this kind of invitation-refer-friend-to-get-reward method anytime soon (since this method is often used by a game that are losing its player population or a new game that are in need of many player)
