i’d like the original armor piece back please.
-a dead hand groping my girls boob is epic-
i agree. i hadn’t even realized that they changed it. i was looking through heavy armor images on the wiki to kinda piece together what i may want, and now i dont want to go for that. it does look more boring.
Can we get a customization option similar to the camera position on the x axis in the options menu but for the z axis? it makes it really hard to take good close up screens of norns and asura. it’s pretty much the perfect height for charr, human, and sylvari. on top of that, i like playing with my camera close up and a little to the left, but i’d like to lower it on my norn.
In the norn personal story stage The Last Giant-King, the ability that summons a spectral wolf to aid you, does not work. The wolf just stands still and does nothing.
im not sure what is causing it or the sequence of events that lead up to this bug, but for some reason my weapons become see-through.
I can agree it is a grind if you have played on average 3 hours a day since launch. I haven’t even done half the amount of hours played since launch and I’m told I play too much. However, doing 320 fractals since Nov. 15, that is ridiculous. Spread out. Stop binding yourself and then complaining.
it wouldn’t even be a difficult thing to patch in. essentially just a copy paste the slider, map it to the vertical axis, and voila
i am about at the midsection of my norn when i zoom in the camera all the way. i prefer playing like that with the camera slightly to the side and close up. please add a vertical axis or something.
no. it’s there. i’ve completed the map, as have SO many others. so keep looking
I have gone through 4 fractals already on one of my characters and have been unable to level up in difficulty because the groups have disbanded or been unable to conquer the fractal (dredge fractal particularly), or I have disconnected from the server. I would like it to be tracked as any 3 fractals at any time, not just 3 consecutive fractals. On top of that, often times I am in the middle of a fractal and cannot complete or move onto the next due to time. If this were changed, that would be amazing and would open up more possibilities to me and those who have families and work like myself.
Thanks!
The thief’s anonymity mask does not give the option for a rune when you transmute, or even prior to the transmutation
On my thief, if I am ever fighting a karka, even a young one, if I use a stealth ability, it does not effect the karka’s aggression toward me. I can understand that being the case with the champion, but for the rest, I can’t imagine why it is the case, unless it is not meant to be.
akerhage, i was pretty sure it was the only one, but rocholl said that he was aware of another, so im guessing it was an exotic or the longbow. no idea.
why orcs? it’s a completely different cut of fantasy. not so Lord of the Rings mold like most fantasy rpg’s
the orrian temples have gear to sell for karma. they are 42k each. that’s pretty much it though for cool stuff to use karma for aside from legendaries.
i want a plain tabard option too. something to just wear over my armor.
Sir, i’m hoping for the kodan more so, and would think they’d make a better heavy armor appearance than a scrawny bird.
i sometimes enjoy the post processing, but i do not like the outlining of characters. im just asking for a toggle on/off option for that single feature within post-process.
Mounts should be for Role Play purposes. We can transform in all sorts of things with the tonics, we can ware different costumes, why not add some mounts for the same reason with a few skills to them? That would be awesome.
it would completely change the dynamic of the maps. mounts work in open world games that are larger and aren’t limited to zones, on top of just the overall terrain of the maps, i do not think mounts are viable. the only reason it may seem to take a while to cover the area of a map is that the character movement speed is fairly slow without speed buffs. it is viable in a game like WoW because there are so few zoning instances that it allows for that lengthy travel, which then makes mounts and faster movement speed a handy tool. I can see mounts in this game being just as annoying to handle as a horse in skyrim trying to get up a mountain.
what good would mounts do? i dont think the set up of the maps and the travel system or the way running speed works in this game would make mounts compatible.
i completely agree on this. i was thinking id make eternity for my ranger, but im not much for that on a charr ranger. i prefer the pact avenger. but i would like a legendary short bow and i dont like the dreamer. so yeah, if possible please bring out a new short bow. also, rocholl, what is the other legendary short bow you know of?
Hi, when I first bought my AC greatsword, it glowed with a blue shine like it should do. Then , about 12 minutes after I bought it , It stoped glowing for some reason and I could not get it back to glowing.
Any ideas on how to fix this ?
it’s not bugged. there are two skins. one for daytime (the screenshot) and one for nighttime (the glow). keep in mind its the in-game day/night cycle.
… I mean the way this game approaches pets is like you’re some merciless owner to a dog fighting ring in charge of throwing bait animals into the ring to get the dogs riled up.
If this is how much a Ranger cares about pets, perhaps we should lessen their use to the class.
Unless of course I’m the only one that simply throws pets in to the fray in hopes the pet can at least last the 30 seconds to cycle to the next pet?
LOL. I laugh because this is soooo true. The dog fighting analogy is perfect and now I think about it every time my Norn huntress swaps out her pets and bellows “NEXT!”
hysterical! I love the scene of that playing in my head.
i really want this. more customization with pets. its the staple of rangers. and they do need to grow, bond with you, and take away the swapping upon downed. also give them a meager talent tree. id like to love my hawk i have named Frightful.
they need to be reworked and less harsh.
The particle effects for the Ghastly Short Bow stop working after I use a skill, which I think is not supposed to happen, though I watched some videos on youtube of others using the long/short bow and it happened to them too, so it’s not just me. In videos with greatswords the effect keeps when using skills. Please let me know if it’s supposed to stop when using or if this is an issue. Thanks!!
It is the Masquerade Armor and is only pvp as of now.
I also agree, though I haven’t checked recently if it is implemented since the last comment. I think at least the torso and arms is a great match for my necro
what a TERRIBLE time. really? in the morning when ppl work?
oh if only you would read previous comments, you’d know the answer to your question.
what i’d really like to know is how the heck he has that much gold and more.
I have been very good these last 3 months and destroyed lots of baddies and charmed many hearts. I would like
- krytan drakehound mini pet
- baby quaggan with santa hat pet
- mini gingerbread man pet
- a rifle/pistol that shoots snow
- more weapons with frosty jotun symbols
- a wicked jumping puzzle
- a new dungeon/area with chests
- the misty mountains
Your biggest fan,

Zargnath’s Wintersday wish list
1. A kitten big cristmas tree that is also a jumping puzzle.
2. A santa sack back piece.
3. Gingerbread golem.
4. Wintersday skins of course. Things like Christmas ornament focuses, Candy cane sword etc.
5. SNOW, SNOW EVERYWHERE!!!probably missed a few things but that is what I can think of now.
Dear Toymaker Tixx,
I too, would want a super long and hard jumping puzzle in the form of a giant christmas tree
it could be a “honey I shrunk the kids” and we could all be REEEEALLY tiny and there are human/charr/asuran kids shaking a christmas tree and laughing and we are jumping from the bottom to the top of the tree from ornament to ornament while they fall and break on the cobblestones of LA.
I feel I’ve been very good this year, having helped liberate (With much gusto) large portions of Tyria from the oppression of larger and smellier bookahs. Sometimes, I even did it out of kindness instead of simply as a byproduct of not being allowed to use humans as test subjects.
However, I am a modest Asura, and I only ask for two things.
Firstly, that the dragons look kindly upon my school of study and stop absorbing all the magic. It’s getting very difficult to continue doing research into mind magic when our illusions are getting progressively weaker.
Secondly, I’d very much appreciate some schematics for an army of steam golems.
With great modesty,
The Incredible Zizi, future Grand High Sovereign of Tyria, alumni of the college of Synergetics, Golemancer, Mesmer and Greatest Asura Since Snaff™
the tm was great. made me laugh
I want them to add dwarves. yes the lore says they were killed or turned to stone, but there are gaps in it that could be used to bring them back. I just miss dwarves. and give rangers use of rifles at that point.
thanks for the feedback! Revamping old content to new players in save 3 years isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Expansions can mean both, and they do for many games in that they change the environments like cataclysm for WoW. the lands that now have scaffolding can be opened up in the future such as the mine or whatever hole that is in divinity’s reach. i dont see how that can be an absolute no.
and i tried GW1. I couldn’t get beyond the mechanics. I got too bored.
I wish for there to really be a more dynamic and flowing world, as in that it actually changes. In later expansions, zhaitan is defeated and the undead are not rising in the land anymore, except in certain controlled areas where there are remnants of the dragons magic. but i would like to see over a period of 6-12 months that the landscape and buildings are “under construction,” in that there are scaffolding projects around, the fungi and such strewn about is being gradually cleaned and the poisonous veil is being lifted. how cool would that be to witness the rebirth of a “prince of persia”-esque nation?
While I personally liked that feature, I think the issue is so many people used to complain they felt nagged by it.
You know a feature GW2 /does/ have that I totally LOVE even more, though? Enable the in-game clock in your options. It sits on your minimap and tells you the IRL time, so you can never ever lose track.
I lost track this morning. had work at 11 and got up at 8 to make breakfast, watch some of last nights debate, and the first episode of “Arrow,” which was pretty good. It has a much more mature aspect to it than Smallville. And then I got on and did 4 events and 2 hearts, and the events were like ones where you escort a caravan, and that leads you beside another event that is happening, which after finishing that one starts another caravan. I happened to look at my clock and it was 10:21. wowza! quickly got my stuff and ran out the door.
I’d really like to get this as an option. Not really for making sure that I leave on time, since that’s what an alarm on my phone is for, but for just when I am playing I can see how much time I have been on and the gentle nudge to do something constructive.
It would be great if you would bring this back with how it was in GW1. When I first got that notice I was shocked. To me, it said that you guys aren’t solely interested in my money and time, but that you want to encourage healthy living and a balanced gaming/real life experience. If this could be either implemented across the board or put in the options, that would be great.
Thanks!
PS there is a thread talking about self control, but who really has enough to actually stick to the “one more heart/event and I’m done for the day?” Granted we don’t have to acknowledge the 2hr notice, but it is still nice to have for those days or stretches of time where you are trying to build healthy habits.
I would REALLY like to see more immersion into the Orders. It would be AWESOME if there were somewhere around 20 missions (maybe every 4 make a really big or intensive mission chain). I’d just like to do more stuff for the orders. They really interest me. Thanks for what they are as of now though! So much fun! Such great storytelling!
I’m sure they would have known it would work out that way from the get-go. perhaps it’s a way they are trying to stabilize the market
It works great for getting 2 events and multiple kills/types in one stroke. Please fix this! He’s still eating dirt in the middle of the arena in Gendarran Fields.
I’m standing next to someone who is botting and is also employing a “click-to-teleport” mod. I have already reported him for botting, but what about the cheat?
Can we get it enabled to receive both boons from the sigils of both our primary and secondary weapon set? I don’t mean for each kill to gain both, but over the course of 50 kills. I realize that the elementalist won’t be able to get this, and you could maybe have it remove the boons whenever you unequip whichever weapon the sigil is tied to. Also, how about keeping the stacks between maps? Not really appreciating how when I’m doing a story quest and after I finish I lose the stacks I gained and need to start over.
Just letting you know that when a party is formed and they are opponents in sPvP they can see each other if stealthed.
Im speaking more along the lines of regular games, not tournaments. In tournaments it’s fine because we are talking. Either all in all I should not expect team work from a random assortment of players, which isn’t the case in maybe 20% of the games I’ve played in. All of that makes sense and I know how to counter them individually as a ranger/guardian, but it’s still ridiculous when no one else is good enough to do anything together. I guess it suffices to say that the good players just wait until their buddies are on to do tournaments and the sub par team players are in the “play now” group? I have done 2 tournaments with some guys but as being college students at different schools, it isn’t very easy. Idk, a game I just did was 4 thieves, 2 mesmers, and 2 guardians on opposing team. They had my team pinned at their base. I just left.
the title says it all. mesmer and thief combos are freaking annoying and there is now way to counter that. those two professions work best together and with a mixed up lot on the opposing team, there is no way to win or compete. It’s a ganking fest.
I am getting a message saying “ERROR: Invalid authorization” when I open up the black lion trading post window. It has only just started happening. what’s up with that?
I’m sorry but the taming mechanic is boring. is this something that is possible to be discussed and up for a revamp? another thing I’d like to see is the gradual progression of ranger-pet relationship. give it some tiers to achieve; maybe some food or activities to do with your pets that increase the amount of bonding. I’d like to see my pets get larger over time. I want to have a fierce dire wolf like Garm is described as in the book. also I’d love to run around with a rock dog with my charr.
what’s with all the rush? I find that as I progress through a zone, and complete my dailies, and do whatever DE pops up as I’m travelling, I get just about enough mats to continue leveling my crafting. However, if I find that I want to make a rare piece of equipment, I need to either go farm or purchase mats in the TP. But I’m in no hurry.
