I liked the idea of unlocking traits by challenges in the open world, as it was in GW1 (elite capping). But why do all unlocks have to be connected to zerg-style content?

Do something. This gets annoying as kitten. Restrict new account pms to 1 every 10 minutes or something.

Speaking of updated rank: Can we have a /rank X emote pls, where X is any of your unlocked rank tiers? Really love that tiger and would like to stick to it

The Jungle Wurm was added very recently, on January 21st 2014, just 2 months ago.
5 New Fractals (2 boss, 3 normal) were added on November 26th 2013, about 4 months ago.
Aetherblade Path was released on October 1st 2013, about 5 months ago.
Tequatl was released on September 17 2013, about 6 months ago.

So one permanent endgame content addition nearly every month.

The aetherblade path was added, and one path was removed for it – no addition.
Tequatl was there before – no addition.

So what do we have to expect from tomorrows blogpost?
Hype edition: Guild Halls, housing.
Realist edition: You are no longer able to fall through the floor of dungeons.

So the removal of waypoint cost will be next years big feature update?

Thats obvious, so why didn’t they on the other threads. I don’t expect a full-featured dev answer on every thread. But e.g. the 6 minute achievement has serval threads, just because there is no dev response.

So why can’t they just drop a line like “We are aware of the following issues: A B C. They are being worked on. We don’t know when a patch will drop yet, but it will.”

Just one official response on the threads, and it would be all fine. If there is no official response we have to assume it means:
- We have not yet been heard or
- They don’t care

In Guild Wars 1 this feature was called districts, and it was there from the very beginning.

Yes, you can do toypocalypse, bell chor and snowball mayhem multiple times to also get the 20/20 for the meta

Unless you complete a daily with your repeated run in one of these activities they won’t count towards the meta.

Um… I fail to see the problem in here. Buying that limited Toxic Finisher isn’t even half a gold piece, I’m sure everyone can afford to spend 35 silver for the achievement.

I did not say I couldn’t afford it. But I don’t like the idea of having to spend gold for AP – or use an infinite gem shop item instead. That can’t be the idea of a daily, where all the other activities involve playing something productive.

I can’t see how this is a game bug. If you have trouble remembering things you should maybe note them down in a safe place.

The issue has been ninja-fixed.

Afaik it adds +3 for being first, +2 for being second and +1 for being third. Looks like a feature.

She is dancing “Twist and Shout”, no doubt.

I tested this some more over the days. The daily is completed once you enter the ascalon fractal.

My armor is not crafted, it is acolytes armor (this set: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Acolyte_armor_%28exotic%29, http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Jatoro%27s_armor to be more precise).

Same issue, apart it is soldiers stats I would like to have.

“hits you” != “you hit”. He was invulnerable, you obviously were not. At least you didn’t hit when you thought you were.

We just wanted to start a fractal run for daily achievement. Party was still 2/5, i started the fractals and began rolling for swamp. After rolling 2 or 3 times I got the daily achievement without having completed a fractal.

If you want to avoid the bonus bosses play odd-numbered fractal levels.

This was only true until the “Fractured” update. Now there is always a “bonus” fractal.

Ran story mode and a full 4 fractals after that. no daily.

Can’t open “normal” fractals, even after completing story mode. It still just offers story mode.

1) The ones that stopped at 50

2) The ones that made it to 80

3) The people with multiple characters on high levels

ad 1) I still see no reason why you should receive a compensation. You had those higher chances all the time, so why receive a bonus now?

ad 2) It is sad that those challenges might now be no longer available. But we can’t even judge wether they will or not before we have seen the new levels of difficulty. Just because the max level number is 50 now instead of 80 does not mean it’s easier, does it?
And why would a mini or a title compensate for the loss of challenge? Only a new type of challenge can compensate for that. Or maybe a new fractal mode resembling the old level 80s.

ad 3) Nothing is taken away. You had the variety every time you played, and you now know what you are able to. I still can’t see where you loose anything here.

There might be a tiny amount of people that made fractals alts to farm the high levels for several daily chests, but the majoity of us did so for completely different reasons. We wanted a new challenge, we wanted to master another class, we wanted to be able to offer our team a different set up and still be able to pull our weight. The daily chest was the last thing on our minds.

Then there is no problem wih the reset either as far as I see. If you did it for the challenge you had your reward all the time playing 50+ instances, didn’t you. And now you get even newer challenges.

You already had your refund, as you could receive the daily chests for all that time on two characters instead of one.

1. Wrong forum. This is an achievement from the The Nightmare Within release.
2. Yes, it is outside, but you reach it from the top of the tower’s inside (After having completed the final instance to be precise).

It looks like the problems root was that there was a fight going on near the chest when I completed the puzzle and that the door was opened already when I entered the chest room. After another day of wait and entering the chestroom “the regular way” I got my achievement.

Did you try to open it without keys first? Because then you will have to wait until reset to get it.

Are you talking about daily or matchup reset?
