Well, if you just could consume them. You need a stack of 10 to consume them. Without the storage you have to manually transfer them between characters to consume them, and still keep some leftover most of the time. Adding them to storage would solve this.
Alternative solutions have been mentioned in the thread – e.g. changing the item so that every single one can be consumed.
When requesting data from paginated endpoints one has to confide the api data is not modified during the requests (e.g. when the api fetches newer data from the backend). How about adding some header field that we can check to notice when this happens. If this field would change through paginating we would be able to restart from the beginning.
Implementation suggestions:
1. Header field containing the datetime the api data was fetched from the backend.
As a sidenote: The “Expires” header always seems to be servertime + 60s. With above fetch-datetime “Expires” might carry useful values in the future.
Any chance that this (or something similar) could be implemented?
I would prefer a separate volume slider for the annoying sound effects, but if that is not a viable solution I’d go with changing the sound effects for the dreamer and quip.

The point is that he never reffered to the pip system, you just read it in that context (and thus had to edit it into his quote). The 50/50 is not bad in itself, only when combined with the pip system and progress only possible through streaks. Now that progress is independent of 50/50 it is no longer an issue.

Fully agree with op. The Chuka & Champawat lore collections (all but vol II obviously) were just great.
The AP leaderboards do not render anything but the first page. Any other page shows “Internal Server Error”.

I can’t even count how often I unintentionally left squads or invited ppl to my guild now.
Steps to reproduce:
- Be in a squad.
- Have enough ppl in the squad to show them on multiple rows.
- Right-click a player.
- Hover a context menu entry (preparing to click it), e.g. “join player’s instance” entry.
- Have enough other players move between subgroups / leave squad / enter squad so that the clicked player’s icon moves to a different row.
- The context menu moves along.
- You click the wrong context menu entry.

Yea, pre-HoT I had pretty much completed everything I wanted to, but raids were a major turn-off for me, so I disregarded them, even if that meant not getting those AP. I see things alot more relaxed now. It was hard for a while, but now it works fine for me.
A good way to get more relaxed was to not start the game for several weeks (after logging in every day before apart from vacations).

Personally I found your post very hard to read, as I expected it to present information on how to beat the event but:
- It was full of emotion and unnecessary description. That made the post seem very “noisy”.
- At the most relevant part you couldn’t describe what made it work this try and let the previous tries fail.

Tomed up a character, played HoT story until after “City of Hope” with only the levelup gear and deleted the character. 6 times. Just to get the auric weapons for free. And one time wasn’t even necessary, because I still had the PvP reward track open.

Had a 1+2+2 vs 1+1+1+1+1 match this afternoon where the partied team had a seemingly higher average division. Can you pls elaborate on this match and why it was considered to be better this way that two 1+1+1+2 teams?
There is an achievement to kill 500 branded so lets just take away the loot and still have people just killing them for the achievement? I’d rather keep the loot and for me, I liked the scarlet event mainly because it actually dropped loot. Loot keeps players coming back, take away the loot and you’ll start to take away the players.
Then maybe the achievement is wrong. Ppl came back and did the shatterer before the update, and now you even get double rares.
The current behavior is pretty much like having the event fail to maximize farming.
Whoever thought it would be a great idea to have the champs drop loot here is wrong. It did not work with the scarlet events, it did not work on all other world bosses.
Half the ppl do the boss, the other half farms boxes and scales the event up.
Looks like the kill only counts when the boss is “shielded” by the dragon. I had multiple kills on all the three bosses, never got the achievement. Then on kill on Diarmid while it was shielded – there you go.

I have similar issues yesterday evening. Could not use skills. Interesting fact that may add: I had the karka hunt weapon equipped. When i tried to drop it it showed “You cannot drop bundles in the air”, while I was on the ground. Neither dropping from height nor going into water and coming back on land helped.
One question regarding pagination:
The situation I am thinking of is that the client is iterating over the pages while the data changes. Is this covered by the server in any way (e.g. producing a snapshot on loading page 0) or does the client have to deal with incomplete or duplicate result sets?

If the “enter the map” dialogue appears while map changing it disappears. No way to accept. On the other hand, the client still knows you could enter, as the WvW interface shows “ready” instead of your queue position. Why isn’t this “ready” text a clickable enter button?

Hey. Today I was playing unranked queue, and while the match was still running my queue popped again. I accepted and was taken to a different match.
One of my team mates from match 1 was also in this new match, but on the opposing team.

Any ping performed on my team stays active, both mine and those of the other players.
How often does this occur for you?
Irregular. Sometimes twice an evening, sometimes it does not occur in like 2 weeks.
Is there anything ‘special’ you do to have this occur?
Unfortunately no, I could not name any circumstances that start the behavior.
From what I’ve observed it may start mid-match. Some pings go fine until a certain point. From this point, every new ping stays until the match is over. Can’t say how it behaves on mapchange as I mostly do soloQ.
Additional info: When the situation occurs it seems to be for every player on the team, as there are usually other players complaining like “stop pinging”. So it seems to be an issue for the whole team.

First: This bug has been around for at least 1 year. I can’t believe there is not report of this yet, but as forum search is still broken and google did not get any results here is probably yet another report of the issue:
There is this bug where sometimes every map ping (shift-leftclick) on the minimap stays active for the complete match. Each ping then repeat periodically, like every second. This kills any overview you have in soloQ.
Clear accounts that were using macro is correct, and the bills that were just stops? My friend is unable to get into his account here in the forum (but can on the website) and said he slept in front of the computer and when he tried to get into the game was the blocked account. He stated that his character did not perform any movement, let alone AoE healing the ranger that others use the macro. He even sent messages for support within the game about the situation, to take doubt, and it was never answered. Stand still without any movement within the game is breaking rules?

Your friends seem to have trouble with this quite often.
I think it is determined on enemy death. Depending on loot rarity you see different containers on the ground (bag, chest), so at this point at least the rarity is already determined.

Might this issue also have affected the daily world boss chest? I have a character that never got the shatterer bonus chest on the days first, while my other characters did.
Did it with my ranger with RoA + QZ + SotW along with a long range shot with SoH…
How is that different from what Backstab was doing these 2 years?

Standing near a scritt burglars bag of loot. No interaction sign is shown. Neither interacting(“f”) nor aoe loot gets the items.
Having the WvW tournament and a new story realease at the same time would be too confusing.
They promised not to bring the VIP system, but a new name is found quickly, don’t you worry about that.
