Yeah, well, portal spots in dungeons. That’s what saves time. Honestly though pugs are too stupid to even click f and get your portal, why would you care. Why would you care in the first place if mesmer is always better than guard or not, casual runs are just that, casual. Mes has always been “viable”, staying on topic of the title, and now they’re more viable because they got buffed. Cool? Cool.

I was… surprised at how lame the rev felt to me, I’ll admit. What I found weird is the combination of appalling damage, slow casting times and extremely clunky animations – mace 2 and 3, what the hell? my char didn’t leap, it tried to fly… spasming while in the air like a monstrous bird with one wing. Whatever, let’s not even talk about the axe port freaking my camera out… /shrug
I doubt even Shiro can fix it.
With anet it’s either nerfbat or nothing. I prefer nerfbat. This is absolutely pathetic.

Ranger were able to abuse the blast finisher on pet swap in some, very gimmicky situations (You needed a tonic without cooldown for that. You would just spam the tonic to get a blast finisher each time you transform).
The logic reaction to that bug is obviously to give the trait a 30s IRC, while the petswap is 15s untraited. Logic. Balancing at its finest.
Tbf that trait stated 30s cooldown from the start, it was just bugged and fixed.
Yeah, because one blastfinisher on a 15s cooldown is way too OP…
If you have blurred inscriptions traited, your healing signet will proc diversion. Apparently that, and maybe few other reason, causes chicken-blocks ALL non insta-cast skills for a short period. Few other skills such as casting signet of illusions on phantasm summon might do the same. It’s annoying as hell…
Also, dodging and evading something while OOC will put you in combat, because now with a trait your evades apply confusion to enemies, and confusion does damage…

It’s easy to complain while the others are the ones being burdened by so many responsibilities… Hell, I used to get a huge migraine after teaching ONE person that asked me to for a few hours a day, I can’t imagine managing 10 or 20 or whatever. No thanks, burn it.
Eh I don’t know what the hell is going on, sometimes my blurred frenzy or phantasms won’t cast and the f1-4 keep interrupting my skills/delaying the ones I try to cast after. I ate I don’t know how may kicks because my mes stares at lupi instead of using 2.

Something’s wrong with my mesmer, but I can’t put a finger on it… why does it feel so slow and clumsy as if I had to wait for every skill to activate? Wth. I think I drank too much.
It’s hard not to fall for it if you give it a chance. But it’s a complicated relationship, with lots of bickering and arguments and plenty of disappointments on both sides. Sometimes I just have to pack my things and… take a break from this destructive love.

The iphiw ele builds used in pve are real fun to have in party. Usually just as good in defiance management as a fearmancer, I mean necro. Had an aurashare ele in TA who made sure we had shocking aura at the start of each boss fight, another yesterday in SE p2, charged into every boss with RTL, followed by updraft.
Still better than the rangers that begin their rotation with Point Blank Shot and push everything out of your AoE’s
They don’t begin the rotation with it, they WAIT FOR YOU TO INITIATE 100B and then…
Or meteor shower.

Or sword aa so they send you leaping to infinity and beyond…

Now imagine ANet introducing alliances GW1 style. It would be amazing to keep guild identity but at the same time play with likeminded people
We are getting pseudo alliances with the cross guild chat coming into the game. Just means we all need to be invited as guest ranks to other guilds we dont rep. Should be interesting.
What about us sociopaths? The game should cater to our needs too.

Anyway! I made a list of all the boxes/useless weapons/crappy armor pieces I have lying around… the result is quite impressive. I’m literally saving hundreds of gold.

Dungeons should scale up though. Just like fractals. I understand the avoidance of scaling up in open world. But it doesnt make sense in instanced content.
Either the guild has to save gold and go gold —> gems to get decoration (something I doubt ANet wants to encourage), or someone has to shell out real money for their guild to get a new shiney. Neither seems terribly practical to me.
Why not? as long as someone buys gems or burns [time] gold, they win.
