By the way: ms. Glint was http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Glint doing a lot of damage, sure, but she was mostly a controller with heavy debuffing and self-buffs. Not sure if that would clash with Jalis. I don’t think so but we’ll see.

They are essentially starting to add the trinity. You have a Ventari healing spec, a Jalis tank spec, and the other 8 professions for DPS.

Hopefully they tailor the other professions to more trinity roles with future specializations so every group isn’t forced to have two revenants.

Are they making it so that people are led to believe they’re pushing for a holy trinity?
If so, why? 1. they want to push for “diversity”? 2. to calm people down and appease trinity cultists? 3. massive change in focus, with more attention given to non-rigid heal/tank roles? (by non rigid I mean “open to multiple classes with diverse setup”)

Are we gonna see content with rigid trinitism?

Are we gonna see another nerf to damage and a direction towards unsustainable fights, so it requires a 1 soaker/1 healer or 2 healers team composition?

I’m confuzzled.
For a bit, I thought it was all in my head as usual, but now… I think it’s because anet keeps giving strange signals that I can’t interpret and leave me, uh, confuzzled.

It’s not only a matter of having lower dps, and you know that. Everyone knows very well the biggest problem with necro ISN’T personal dps.
