I think I’m the only crazy kittener with 2 medium sets…
Yeah, my mes is missing 3 pieces and I wanted to prepare something for the rev, gonna be pretty cool. IF I can afford the xpac :/ if not, warrior is next.
What bothers me is that my 4 chests are 2 shoulders and 2 boots <.< I keep dropping shoulders and never helmets, kitten.

Anyway, this is pretty a kitten good change. Nice one. Finally, I guess <.<

Has anyone noticed how, patch after patch, update after update – anet worked on smoothing the exo→ascended transition and the complaints attached to it? I wonder if it means they got a good scare out of the ascended uproar, 2 years ago…

I got it, I buried the corpse! Couldn’t catch the cat, though. Tripped on my own feet and he escaped on his motorcycle.
I think I managed to calculate the depth of the hole, but not sure. I think an arm is still sticking out…?

Just want to clarify since I saw this come up a couple of times in this thread and we haven’t actually released our full official patch notes for 6/23 yet….

Ascended Gear will be staying 5% better than Exotic Gear. Gear beyond the tiers we already have are not going to be added and our existing tiers won’t change, they won’t be our main end-game form of progression for your characters/account for all the reasons we’ve covered before – it isn’t what we think Gw2 is about.

Masteries is being added to PvE to help provide this system as our form of progression for PvE moving forward, and the WvW ability system exists for WvW and will be what we use to expand WvW in the future.

To more directly answer some of your point….We are adding a system that lets you change the stats for your ascended gear next Tuesday – which will cost a combination of 10 spirit shards, piece you don’t want anymore, 5 ectos, and an exotic insignia of the stats you want to convert to. Legendary Gear will remain the gear that can freely change stats any time.

I have like… 4? or more boxes of defenders, plus at least 8 pieces of cele and knight scattered across my guard and ele. Does this mean… I get to convert them all to free zerk? Does it?

The ship is sinking. HoT is a desperate gamble, and all those controversial decisions recently – making ascended gear even more powerful than exotic gear, this whole mess with HoT, and etc – clearly reek of despair. If HoT doesn’t sell very well, I wouldn’t hold my breath for a second expansion.

While rangers lost dmg modifiers they also get huge burst potential from quick draw when combined with path of scars and RF+barrage+RF.

Not to mention pretty good amount of quickness from pet swapping combined with warhorn 5 blasting every 15 seconds.

Yeah, I mean, they do get a few buffs (mostly to pets), but imo they’re gonna do little to change things; my main problem with the class is the trait allocation and most utility skills being crappy. I feel like the changes are underwhelming if we compare it to other classes’. One could say it isn’t fair to do such a comparison, but I’d disagree. I think it’s at least worthy of consideration: they clearly haven’t changed/worked on it much, and most traits are still… well, I have no other way to say it, just plain bad! Think of what eles are getting in the fire line.. that’s an example of traits being “compressed” and, consequentially, made stronger. Rangers… just meh.
… Why, why is Steady focus still on master? Why!??! Is it because of pvp? I don’t understand.

Anyway, it’s true, quick draw is alluring. I wonder if double maul combo would be decent. Ah, don’t mind me, gs can’t be better than sword, I’m just desperately looking for excuses to use it.

I used to laugh at “drunk dungeon night” It’s like, wait a minute? isn’t that every night?

I have this wonderful glass, I come home, fill it with whiskey, chug it down, then the relaxing begins. I don’t know what I’d do without this glass, honestly it’s my scientific measuring tool, I don’t know exactly how much I drink, I just know if I fill it up to above the top etchings I’ll feel good in about 20-30 minutes, then fill it up to the horizontal “half way” etching every 45 mins or so and I can maintain it throughout the night. When I don’t have this glass… all my measurements are off. I freaked my brother out this weekend at work when I just filled the whole hotel room glass.. “what the kitten are you doing?”

I do have my group of irl “frienemies” I go out with in the evenings, of course, but it’s usually just a few hours of smalltalk and drowning in my dark beer of choice for the day – 4 guys/gals holed up in some seedy pub ‘til 1am… then ok cya next time and you go home. It’s cute how people call that “socialising”. Real fun indeed.
Now I sound like an kitten. They’re nice guys, just… the brigade’s internal relationships are quite antagonistic, mostly because there are so many neurotic girls and there’s a lot of drama almost weekly.

I mean I prefer lighter skin tones and caucasian facial structures myself too, it’s just sexual preference – and in a video game if you are creating an avatar you will be creating them around an image you have in mind – whether simply something you find attractive, or cool or whatever it is – and in MMOs you’ll generally tend to see more young looking, lighter skinned, chesty female characters.

It’s good for PvE. But the reason behind the change is old: reminds me of NPE.

They’re making sure that Confusion is atleast always getting some damage in, regardless of the enemy counterplaying it.

So 8 responses. Typical. Doesn’t really say much. Of my guild of 200, probably 10% like dungeons at all. Maybe 15% though I think that’s stretching it. Most people in my guild either don’t run dungeons, or ran them once to get their achievements. However, since that’s annecdotal and since the mods have now moved this to the dungeon forums, where no dungeon people will ever look, the mods might as well close the thread. Any additional posts from now on in are probably going to be fans of dungeons. No reason for a non fan to come to this forum.

It would be interesting if we could see the dev’s data on how many people ran dungeons after they got their achievement, though. I suspect it’s not as much as people think.

I’ve been guilded/friended by hundreds of people who focused on dungeons. Most of them are long gone… I wonder why…

The only thing your post might actually show is how much the dungeon community has dwindled thanks to ANet’s approach or lack there of.

If you are playing dungeons, you are one group out of many doing the same content. As an individual player, you can always be replaced by someone else.

This makes literally no sense. You are one out of five in a dungeon so of course you have a bigger impact on the success of the group. On the other hand in a zerg you can just AFK and they will still succeed without your contribution.

The zealot armor is too expensive. I want anet to reintroduce the recipes and more ways to farm sprockets. This scarcity of resources for certain stats is a symptom of their hate for everything heal/tank, and for the OPness of zerk-stack-in-corner-spam-1-win mentality.
This needs to be fixed.

You will not get banned unless you try to sell the exploited runs. They don’t really care about this sort of stuff unless you try to gain an ingame advantage over other players. If the exploits in question matter enough for them then they’ll do something about the exploit itself.

Clearly, based off of how they do nothing for the dungeon community at all, this is probably not even under their table let alone something they would concern themselves with banning people over it.
