at the time of this post GW2lfg.com has a single listing as warrior/mesmer only.
all knight’s with soldier runes. 10/20/30/10 with shouts for buffs and condition removal. 50% crit, 3k attack, 3.5k armor. with maintenance oil and omnomberry ghost food(life steal on crit, 70 prec, 15% exp) = 61% crit, 81% with fury which is always up.
much better build. can be specced for leg specialist/merciless hammer/opportunist/unsuspecting foe or a bunch of GS and vulnerability stuff like forceful GS, rending strikes or crack shot, empower allies, etc..
so a higher difficulty adds mechanics to something….and the mechanic is cried about. no win situation, i can see them valuing feedback on PVE encounters even less in the future and i wouldn’t blame them.
nope, just cleared SE. no lag.
there should be some kind of bonus reward for doing something like this. imo, we need some kind of “full clear” bonus for killing everything in the dungeon with three tiers for time(and leaderboards). a combination of the mission/bonus/master and vanquishing systems from GW.
also a special achievement for solo clears.
to Robert: besides more fractals, don’t add any dungeons to this game before straightening out the ones already in it AND the various open world encounters. in fact, add more open world mini dungeons(and longer more complex ones) before adding more instances.
unfortunately our good friends at ArenaNet are using us as test subjects in a psychological study to find the common breaking point in humans under a certain set of circumstances.
This is why the mobs in HotW have more HP than a Champion Giant despite dealing 170% less damage and having less mechanics.

guesting cross region would be no different than a server transfer. they’d have to transfer your account to a new data center…and they already have that system in place and will charge for it.
keep it as is. there’s times you need it, which far outweigh the trolling/griefing done with it. as it stands you can rid the group of leeches and kitten. don’t kitten with it.
get on the same page before going in the kitten dungeon. if the majority insists on skipping/exploiting then leave the group if you don’t want to.
This is what happens when a generation of gamers are brought up with DeadlyBossMods and other crutches.

to expect. Honestly, I think it would be far better if res running were removed so If you wiped the boss fight resets. At least that way you are required to learn the fight instead of bashing your face against wall until you win.
the funniest thing is a group of 4 lvl 35-50 players demanding the 5th be lvl 80.
We are however working on expanding reward systems to make them more re-rewarding across all parts of the game, making the open world more rewarding, and adding new ways you can earn precursors as rewards via new reward systems taking advantage of our open persistent world.

they should give all feline pets an attack chain with the third strike granting evasion(much like the third greatsword chain skill).
i’m full BM and they still get killed a lot even to non champion mobs. i often just switch to ranged pets, or use dogs/bear/drakes….shouldn’t have to though. birds and cats are the best damaging pets, but their vitality/toughness are disproportionately lower than a bears or devourer compared to their power/precision advantage. this needs to be brought in line, period.
if Jon Peters and friends like to sit on their kitten for a few years before re-evaluating the stats of these things, they could at least add in some skills that help to reduce the damage they’re taking. if i wasn’t BM the only useful pet would be the moa as it just busts out AOE heals when summoned and i’d park it next to me all the time.
Anyone else feel that this should give something more than 3 seconds of stability AFTER your pet already gets jacked up? Let’s face it, scavengers simply kill the pet. they strip off stability and murder the pet. other mobs with KB/KD, well the buff wears off before the pet gets back near it to attack again.
permanent stability was considered too powerful even though the pets the trait works with are not hard hitting or fast attackers(can’t even hit a player in pvp). I think it should give your qualified pet unshakable. yep, give them unshakable status with Defiant stacking up to 3.
This would not be too powerful in PVE since mobs can still eventually take the buff off the pet, they just won’t be chain cc’d into uselessness/death(which is a good thing and worth traiting for).
On the PvP side, i can’t imagine this will be OP. the pet will get cc’d often enough still, and the tanky pets don’t dish out much damage anyway.

weapons are gone, rare armor is there still.
so you’re not always in a group of 4 other idiots who can’t do their speed run since no one can start it.
they probably should disable HotW. too much work to be done there.

bunch of complaints fresh in my mind, then i got to remembering playing some other games listed and voted GW2.
well since they already give you a random rare the first run….make them give you a random rare on every run + 5 T6 mats?
i remember my party whining to skip the oozes. said kitten off, me and another killed them. i got the colossus off one of them.

final hit of #1 chain should apply vulnerability and be a blast finisher.
skill # 5 should KD for 3 seconds
Merciless Hammer = Increase the duration of all hammer control effects by 1 second and recharge all hammer skills when your target is below 25% health(60 second cooldown).

they strip boons off. anyway, you can dodge all graveling scavenger KD chains. they do a damned obvious rearing back animation followed by a slow enough leap. sparks fly out their kitten when they are about to pounce. dodge roll and continue dps. also, even if it’s the boss(rumblus) or the champion…CC moves will interrupt the attacks once they’ve caught someone, so don’t just stand there like a fool watching your party die to it.
stun breakers and stability are nothing to these guys. they CHAIN the attacks, so unless you hit the kitten with a CC, prepare to get KD again. KD, KB, Stun, Daze, blowout make them stop the move entirely and do something else. if they already have someone down they continue the animation but the actual hits stop once cc’d.

i don’t know why, but i do no there’s no point in asking for it.
again, they’re making an improved LFG tool for the game. again, they are not(ever) making an auto matchmaker ala WoW.
after finally getting a guardian up there and in dungeons, i’m seeing how over exaggerrated they are. great utility but they aren’t better support than any class “no matter the build” by a loooooongshot and their damage is very, very bad with a non dps spec.
Look at Rangers.

so at 0 healing at level 80: 40 + 1152 = 1192
at 1500 healing at level 80: 40+1152+1200= 2192
Not sure what the point of putting the formula with 0 healing is. You are required to get 300 points in healing power just to get the healing shout skill. Saying its 1192 for 0 healing is somewhat confusing to noobs, because they are thinking*oh, i don’t have any healing power gear so this is what it is", when in actuality its a bit higher since they have 300 healing power default to get that trait.

you have the WvW bonus.
my advice is to take a full set of “Hearty” gear(rare).
use FGJ, SoS and Dolyak/Banner of Strength.
Guardian has way more than just healing, while we as warriors ‘just’ heal (in terms of non-damage supportive abilities). Our heal can be really good, with banners and healing shouting. I even dare say that I heal more than the typical guardian. But remember that the guardian brings a lot more than just healing, and can be loaded with amazing utilities and CC to support his allies, give boons and be extremely resistant to damage. Pick your poison.
all that is true for both….
banners bring offensive and defensive boons, shouts bring condition removal, CC and boons.
warriors put up more DPS in any spec, guardians mitigate more damage.
for healing the group you can get more regen out of a certain guardian trait. for direct group healing(no regen) guardians fall way short.

had a great long post typed out with suggestions, kitten site logged me out before i could post it…oh well.
every class can solo kholer, he does not hit very hard with his normal attacks and has a single telegraphed move to avoid. warriors and guardians with enough vitality can do it without even dodging the “big” attack.
- every boss in HOTW should have 30% less HP.
- we need you guys to improve the LFG panel into something useful. and please be sure to hype it up once it’s done so people are aware that it’s there.
- the mobs that spawn in SE path 1 really need to be changed to normal non-silver mobs, and their damage output reduced 20% each.
- adding new loot, better loot drop chances, money and tokens to bosses like Kholer have done nothing to stop skipping of them, so thanks for the changes and please from now on totally ignore all complaints about content like this being skipped and all the drama it brings. people simply want to get in and out in 5-10 minutes like in that other game where dungeons have been reduced to riding in an elevator with 4 strangers.
- add tokens as drops to all facets of a given dungeon, story and explorable. also increase the end reward Karma for doing story mode since it’s literally an act of charity these days.

obstructed is not just a ranger issue
i have to say, playing my warrior, ranger, thief…it’s kitten near a “ranger issue”. only on some burrows in ac do i get it on the thief but of course standing on uneven ground with my warrior and thief almost never return that obstructed/invulnerable crap on enemies. ranger….all the time in every part of the game.
