Don’t get carried away by the whole and usual gpu vs cpu thing. Shaders alone will give you unmeasurable performance issues not ready to be read by the fps counter on a card that badly supports it.

you’ll be surprised how easy it is to read and predict where a zerg is and where it might possibly go in eotm. they always end up making orange swords for one, almost always stick with the same pattern, and are oblivious to leaving fake swords.

weapon sets are on you. a simple suggestion is not to let go of all that rooting power whatever set you use. it lacks the finesse veteran rangers may have but it should do it’s work. lots of ranger complain about utilities while they have a load of this.
I like dancing dagger. Its semi multi perma cripple provided you measure your spams to ini regen and cripple dura. with a damage that can be good specially if your procs go off too.
+1. incrementing amount might be too big but idea about reward per timer factoring in enemy size , i like. imo, issue about garri tagged by one guy resulting in rewards is not an issue with the proposed rewarding system but rather an issue that one guy tagging 1-2-3 hits on a door or something else can already trigger swords and have so much power shutting down entire waypoints. but then again, aren’t swords supposed to go away soon in a future patch?

I love your old currency exchange. I love determining how much gold 1 gem costs just to determine the trend. I love having exact control over the the amount of money I will be spending. I want this count outfit but i feel VERY VERY UNCOMFORTABLE about clicking that 800 gem exchange worth …153 gold? I would buy this in an instant on the old UI. It explains so much compared to the new one. You can’t balance the game and you’re ruining something as simple as a precise and working UI. Do you really want us to quit the game that bad? Just tell us. We can understand english.
Find a way to make low ranked server transfers cheaper. Supposedly, they already did so in a former patch, combined with population count. Obviously it didn’t turn things around dramatically as insane prices for losing servers are still insane prices.
The eotm sucking up population from wvw? Even i prefer eotm if it’s just exp and farming i want. The rewards in the map are just too good compared to other maps. champions here, champions there. That means exp here, exp there, loot here, loot there. Plus the attribute that people in eotm most often DO NOT WANT TO DEFEND. This promotes capping and capping and capping and capping and capping and capping and wooops, green is at our keep? who cares! capping and capping and capping. more exp this way. There’s no reward on defending. It’s not the homeborders where an upgraded garri at stake actually has IMPORTANCE. so why defend? just cap. again, more rewards, and none to break the trend.
Thief should be the only class on this thread.
one thing you can try to do in eotm is start bringing in your level 80s like in normal wvw maps to stand a better a chance. i’ve seen some hours wherein eotm green coverage isn’t that much of godly when it comes to numbers but it’s that most of them are bringing in their 80s against red and blue’s 90% upscaled heroes.
but then again knowing it’s eotm, i know this won’t happen.
another idea is just to remove it. if they want better defense in the game, there are other ways to do it such as how aoe scales on walls.
it kinda gives an overview of as to why the game cannot be balanced if you think about it in a certain not so very nice way.

i agree with the person the posted above that this was indeed foreseen before implementation. trap and supply cost is very trivial for something so effective and can be used defensively and offensively. we requested a vid way back then to show how it worked out of curiosity but…hey, who are we to request. we’ll have to deal with it during the season.

you’ll be surprised on how far you can go even on a squishy thief as a commander in wvw as long as you can actually lead and know wvw. It definitely won’t be on the same level as a zerg ball com though. might be possible to lead a zerg ball if you go by nomad equipment set, d/p, signet of malice(u can guess where this build is going).
best and truest answer so far is from sir squishy. wow64 will be your best friend. but no, it will not make the most of your memory.
the only thing my build found useful was the extra slot for the shortbow. i won’t be changing my executioner for the 5% invigorating precision specially now that crit has been nerfed, i’ll be needing the damage more to make up. i was hoping for a really good acrobatic grandmaster as i run 30 acro but i am not using any of it’s grandmasters nor will the new one fit for me. i find it very awkward myself that it relies on stealth triggers. but hey, what can we do.

It has nothing to do with “conditions” , and to suggest so is simply irratiomal. It has to do with a single skill having an overpowered base condition duration. What everyone thinks “behind their heads” as you put it, is how irrationally biased one has to be to claim condition damage is a problem based on one single skill. There are both OP direct damage skills, condition skills, and even auxillary skills. That doesn’t justify claimins they are bad as a whole.
