i 100% agree on this topic, but i feel like anet don t give a s***t about.
We already asked such things so many times that i v lost the count, they simply ignore us.

Keep going like this anet and we ll soon see where u lead this game.

Let me say something.

SFR is a server that used to be home of some of the best WWW Guilds GW2 have ever had, but a sad day Anet did a free transfer week to medium pop servers , from that time on we got a massive transfers of new guilds/random/solo players and the situation went crazy unstable with huge quees (3-4 hours) and guilds who weren t even able to get half of their members to play together. Lot of this guilds now left, as most of the randoms patch enthusiastics who joined WWW to see the culling fix and the new www ranks.

SO, what is the SFR status now?!

We are re-building a stable comunity.
We actually don t have any quee in any map at any time rather than 5-10 mins EU primetime in EB.
All the guilds actually in SFR will stay with us, no more are leaving any soon.
Our Army: ZDs, Option, Rise, XIII, EXT, iddQ, RNV, CoN, VG, BOOM, BG, NK, DoRF, CG and many others + a lot of random/solo players.

mate, we did it all right, not our fault if anet made FREE transfers to a rank 1 server, screw all our organization and costed us already 4-5 guilds that left.

U played this week 3vs1.. Deso/Vizu/Anet vs SFR.
We did all we could and did it right.

Nothing to blame at our guilds/players but to Anet and his incredible decision.

enjoy it till you can, we will be resting this week to organize at our best.
Then who knows what will happen, this is the best we can do and will be exactly what we will do. Any other server in the same position should have melt long ago.

There were plenty of “what is to come” in march but they are scattered throughout interviews and multiple postings.

Basically
-Culling disabled and left to user control
-Badges buy you new stat items and armour patterns
-You get ranking
-Ranking gets you points that allow you to buy passive skill perks
-Refinement of wvw events

For MORT, they were tired by huge primetime queues, so they decided to build their own thing and moved to Fort Ranik ! =) but they had a lot of offpeak commanders too, so again, ouch, hard for us.

It is always sad when a server loose a guild of friends who played together for long time

VS are just awful, when they do fight they just die in one or two hits, rest of the time they just wait you out till you’re outmanned then zerg the map. Totally horrible.
it’s not even that it’s literally the menality of VZ they don’t fight, at all. They watch points and take advantage of noone being there to oppose them because they get wiped off the map when they actually come out from behind a walls.

Without incentives this has created a catch 22 where if a server loses, morale drops, participation drops, server’s ranking drops, server drops whole tiers, people transfer, dead server until massive alliance comes and makes active again. Granted with paid transfers, not every situation will immediately result in transfer, but with weeks of terrible participation in WvW combined with constantly losing, players will either leave Guild Wars 2 (which many have) or they will just leave WvW (which far too many have)

(Again please no quoting from 1 month ago or even 2 weeks ago; issues like culling and queue and maybe a few others require constant update as those ARE game breaking, but this thread is not to agree/disagree on these topics as much as it is to help Anet create their own “table of contents” of what they KNOW will be updated)

Lot s of players, even whole guilds, are loosing interest in www due to the lack of attention Anet has shown. Lot of players are actually quitting the game.

As i already wrote in a lot of other topics if Anet want to epic fail with Gw2 they surely going the right way.

Worst thing ever is we have to wait 1 and half more month to see something for the WWW comunity. Well, i really hope this game will not loose half of our players for that time.

I can t belive they think the TP Preview will keep ppl playing this game… how sad.

I generally concur, especially in regards to culling.

As far as skill lag though, this is mostly dependent on CPU power, and if you upgrade your CPU most of your skill lag will disappear (except for those rare occasions when the WvW server itself is lagged for whatever reason). Also you can re-encode MPEG2 videos to H.264 that much faster. Pwnz

this is server lag, no other ways. And no, not rare occasion but everytime we zerg 30/40vs30/40 ..so really often in www.

What a delusion from anet.
Lowered the number of players per map in www.
Lag so terrible sometimes that it takes 4-5 try to activate a skill and when is done it resolve 4-5 seconds later.. Really diappointing.
Then the wost thing ever is that we have to wait one and half months (more) to have something done for the www.
Also lot of traits runes sigils still are bugged…

If you go in this direction u will epic fail with this game, so pls consider speed up a little the process coz talking with ppl i feel like lots are loosing interest to play like this.

This so called PvD or nightcapping is a real problem, AN better start listen to ppl complaining about it and start thinking on solution. No one likes to play the game where they don’t stand a chance and realize that they also can’t improve, there’s no hope that they will learn something, improve and in future maybe will rival the top server, no, because it’s not about skill or organisation, you can’t improve here, just you need to sleep, work, go to uni/school, w/e. I’ve said that in other topic and will say this again, there shouldn’t be 2 ladders to start with, if WvW supposed to be 24/7 game mode then there should be 1 global ladder, that’s all there’s to it. It makes sense, current system doesn’t make any sense. Unless they come up with some kind of intelligent scoring system, which i doubt they will, at least not in thins decade. xP

No matter how many organized or good we are, www is only a matter of times you spend there. The server who spend more time in www goes first in the ladder. It s simple, and very very sad.

The strategy was good, and all went as planned!
It s not easy to have a whole server work out a strategy and apply it together as we did, but we did it very well, now the rules changed once again (not our fault there!)

Anet spent this 6 months basically all for PvE stuffs, like Halloween the Wintersday and the full-grind Fractal dungeon… and did really a few or basically nothing for WWW.

Lot of runes/skill/traits are still bugged.
Quees are worst than ever.
Culling still persist.
My pc drops from 60 stable fps maxed setting to 15-20 fps in 50vs50 www fights.

Now we have to wait 1 more month, and for what?
Who cares of stuffs like the new personal ranking when i can t even understand what s going on around..
Who cares of new skills based on the www personal rank if there are still lots of skills/traits/runes that doesn t work from the realese..

The Seafarers Rest [SFR] started with the purpose to get players in touch with the SFR WWW comunity.

We are well coordinated with all the other SFR guilds, the communication on our server is top quality where guilds and commanders communicate and work together including randoms/solo/duo’s/small groups. This is done in game and by using the same Teamspeak server.

Then since we payed and we payid a lot with all this cash u may go buy better servers and mantain what u primised about this game. So english is the biggest language used.
This would appeal guilds alot, I guess it´s important to say this.
Another thing is that we have space left in our server for hundreds of players, maybe even thousands. being medium populated. on night we have plenty of enemies to defend ourselves from so there´s fights to be had for anyone who´s questioning that.
Que times are next to 0minutes more then 12/24hours.
So, if what u are looking for is a competitive WWW server with a strong comunity and few or not existant que at all, SFR definetly the best choice!

Firstly this is a post which i will keep short and sweet! This alliance was formed at the beginning of Guild Wars 2 and is based on the medium populated server of Seafearers Rest!
1) How are you in T1 as a Medium server?
Due to our excellent communication between the guilds and coordination of people, we can organise ourselves in such a way to have maximum effect for our server, and we want you guys to be part of i too!
2) What about queue times?
Well non-existant apart from our prime time which is around 15 – 30 mins on BL and an hour on EB! Im sure your fed up of queuing for ages to get in WvW! So why not try us?
3) Why should we come to your server?
All i can say is were all friendly and work well together and check our website out at www.pevepe.net. Theres at Least 10 large guilds who are part of it including the likes of OSC, RiOT, VcY, BG, CoN, ZDs and many more! We just have fun in what we do and somehow end up winning ^^
4) We can do our job, but can you do yours?
It is fact that us as a server dominates at primetime if it wasn’t for night capping we would be well ahead of the competition!
5) Is there room for us?
Like i stated before we are a MEDIUM populated server so of course theres room!
6) Voice Comms?
We hold our meetings on the community teamspeak server where all the guilds come together to discuss everything! You have the option of using this when in WvW so that others may join your channel.
All in All we are the strongest server with the strongest guilds considering the facts. So message me in game or here and we can have a chat about us! Or simply hope into TS to try and find a commander to talk to! We dont bite!
We dont just offer a commander for you to zerg with, we can offer use of tactics, perseverance and an ever growing sense of community! We have been told by countless guilds that we are a great alliance! So seriously whats stopping you?

Some guilds are putting in way too much hours.
Specially during weekends some guilds play 14 hours straight.
We didn’t have quee yesterday after russian prime so we got room for anything really.
