We are 20/25 on WvW on the prime-time. Nothing more.
Talking about “zerg” or something else is it too much right ?
I am agree with RoS on something, you are not 80. But you have to admit something, none of your present guild can or could down us alone. We are doing our best to make AR better. Unfortunately we go no nightcrew and this week you are pretty hard by night.
I hope we will find some people to do something because even if we roxx you every prime-time we will loose.

If you mean a guild on guild action then you can ask around, but to say we don’t have a guild that can beat yours is kind of groundless if you ask me.

We have roaming guilds like [TH] for example who would welcome an open field fight, and they usually do their own thing. Also, we have many dedicated defenders who enjoy anti-sieging and defending towers/keeps more than open field fights, and most of them are part of small guilds like [CVR], [MR], or other small guilds who like to do small scale roaming and run in groups of no more than 4-5. [GoA] is usually in EB assisting the zerg or doing guild flank while a GoA commander leads the zerg somewhere else, [DEX] usually leads the defense in our bl or assaults a different bl… and the list goes on and on.

The point is, we don’t depend on one particular guild. We’ve learned from previous experiences that depending on one guild will have very bad results on the server, as well as the said guild, and I advice you to do the same. I think your server depends too much on your guild.

At some point this thread became a whine-fest. If you believe we belong in a higher tier, and I hope you are right, then we will eventually tier up. We’re doing what we can, just like you are doing what you can.

Whether its tactics, coverage, or zerg… We’re all trying to utilize them as much as we can to earn more points, so let’s keep the fighting in game because arguing here wont accomplish anything.

u found out about our grand scheme huh. Yes we have a group of spies in every single server, including tier1 servers. In fact, we have around 20 in vabbi and fow, and that’s like all their wvw population, so technically T9 is blacktide vs Surmia spies who like mass dueling.

Also, we have an operator to organize the information because having 300 spies in one teamspeak is no easy feat, we obviously have to filter the more important information than the rest.

Btw if you see ANY player who is not part of your guild, and follows the commander, you should know he is a spy from us. Be especially aware of those who don’t reply back to you when you talk to them. THEY MUST BE SPIES. I also wouldn’t give too much information in Teamspeak if I was you, because we also have ears there. In fact, I highly advice you to only communicate in whispers. yea, that shall do it.

I didn’t want to bring this up, but since Pechic have, might as well elaborate.

Does last week’s WSR taking lowland remind you guys of anything? No? Because I remember.

We had all our zerg, DEX, and GoA in AS bl and we looked at our map to see our Lowland red. We were attacking AS bl, not WSR. Did we accuse WSR of being in an alliance with AS? no, we didn’t. What was the result of taking lowlands you ask? we abandoned our plan to wipe out AS and went back to EB. Do I also need to remind you of the time you took our hills and did a mass /dance in it? I remember.

All those caps were done while we were in AS bl, not in WSR bl, and its obviously fair play, but it taught us a lesson of what we should focus on more, attacking the zergier server and get backstabbed by WSR, or securing easier points. This is a free for all, allying ourselves with any of you will be bad for us, and to be honest I don’t care if you believe us or not because its pretty obvious that the couple of ppl whining about an alliance are either mentally challenged or just trolling.

I honestly don’t see the problem here. Let’s just clear one thing though, there is no alliance of any sort with AS or WSR. Now, if you feel you’re being focused then I believe its for securing easy points, nothing more.

We have been outmanned before, and we’ve QQ’d about it as well so I understand where you’re coming from, but trust me when i say, there is no alliance of any sort.

Well we came out with one thing out of all this pointless discussion: the thread is finally alive and both AS and WSR are actually participating. It makes us feel we’re not fighting npc’s. That’s a good thing.

Regarding the discussion, does it really matter who has more numbers? Because it doesn’t matter if you have 60+ in every single bl if you don’t cap points.

As for organization, we are in T8 for a reason, the lack of it. All of us. Yes we are constantly improving, but still. The only reason we lost Lowlands this week is simply because we lacked communications with new commanders in EB, and we’re the ones to blame, not WSR.

My dear AS and WSR, fighting you is becoming more enjoyable so let’s not throw names at each other, because we will be killing each other later on the battlefield anyways and that’s when it really matters. Good luck to all on the reset.

yea 5% is a joke and the supply increase takes too much to reach. You need to be rank 301 without spending any points on any other ability to max it out. That being said, if they didn’t make it like that, everyone will be going for it. In fact, everyone I know is actually going for it even though it takes forever, especially on low medium tiers where huge zerg battles are rare.

Another thing I want to point out, is that this change in one way or another encourages karma trains. I was hoping they would increase the rank xp for defending, or give xp for upgrading. The hardcore wvw players who stay behind to defend and upgrade once again drew the short straw.

We have a friendly community and we can provide you with a friendly environment. All the recent changes in the server were positive and for our numbers, we are doing great.

If there is any guild who is interested, send out scouts and see for yourself. Just recently, a couple of players moved from a server I shall not name, and they formed a new guild in our server. We have been trying to promote their guild and ask for guildless players to join them, because we appreciate any effort that can enhance our wvw environment.

You can ask our friends in UW, FoW, and Dzg. Most servers we fought can testify that we’ve been quite the friendly server.

Keep in mind though, we are not a server that values winning above all. Having fun together is our top priority, and that is the kind of mentality we would welcome to our server.

I hope WSR gets ppl out of this recruitment. Up to this post I have always tried to avoid hurting WSR points, not just because BT is closer and its better to focus them, but because I actually liked you and respected you.

But you just called us a zerg server even though we do not outman you at all. When you see a huge RoS zerg, know this: We go recruiting ppl from all bl’s and LA telling them we will be launching an assault, we get them on server TS, and only then do we form a zerg.

Other than that, we rely HEAVILY on defensive tactics and divide and conquer. As a proof, we have never lost a fortified keep this week despite BT having 50+ attack them multiple times, except SM. And the reason we lost SM is because we simply do not have the man power to defend it AND our keeps.

I have been talking to a friend in WSR for the last couple of days, and he told me that RoS has a very good organization when it comes to defending, and that was someone I recently met and fought in WvW. Also, yesterday when you launched an assault on SM, do you know what we did? we went inside to destroy their siege on walls, and cut their reinforcements from overlook. But you being the amazing strategists didn’t even realize that.

You always had my respect in this matchup, but now you actually accused us of something that we aren’t, and for absolutely no reason.

@Zeal: I was the one leading the assault at your hills yesterday, and i did that after you gained much higher points than BT. I went to inner with 2 catas and 4 ppl including myself. We took stargrove and had to go back and forth till both catas were finished, take quaggan nodes on garrison and hills, and only then attack the wall. Then when we were spotted and you had 3 ppl inside with cannons, i asked for reinforcements from EB. When the reinforcements came (about 7 ppl), you had an outmanned tag, which disappeared seconds after when your reinforcements arrived, and at that point I had to give up, not because of resistance, but because you had more than us and you had the defensive advantage. So please don’t say things like “we can’t handle resistance even though we outman you”, its very inaccurate and disrespectful.

OT: I think the problem FoW is having is mostly due to Vabbi being deserted. This would push the third server to focus them much more since no one is putting pressure on them on the other side. Previously I thought that hacktide would fit well in that tier but I was mistaken. GL FoW, and if you ever see a commander by the name psychotic, don’t follow him (he belongs to us, he just doesn’t know it yet).

the sad part is that even WSR stopped coming to this forum. We knew hacktide wouldn’t dare to show up due to… well their hacking, but even WSR has disappeared. I miss UW and Dzg just because we could have conversations, albeit not always friendly ones.

i’ve never seen scores so annoying close as this much. Its ridiculous how one server gets behind only to dominate the next day, tying scores once more.

Blacktide has surprisingly much more ppl than I previously anticipated, and they still have their hacktide squad and 0 presence on this forum.

you fail to see the whole picture. Suppose I’m outmanned heavily in EB, even a breakout event there wont help, I simply move to my opponent’s bl, start a breakout event, and hope for the best. At the very least I would force some of my enemies to leave EB, giving my men there more room to breathe.

Then again, I’m speaking from a low tier server point of view where you never have a queue, and bl jumping can achieve a lot.

Actually, the “root” guilds, as you put it, never moved from RoS either, but the problem is that many are taking a break at the same time as the alliance’s transfer.

While it is not fun to be on the losing side, I still found this matchup entertaining. Frankly there is just non-stop action all the time on RoS, and that’s what we want from WvW. Granted we can’t hold keeps for long or have good fights in the open, but we can always try to ninja or put pressure on one server that is busy dealing with the other.

I would like to thank you all for these good times, and wish you all to continue having fun in whichever tier you end up in.

P.S: props to the AA thief that continued to contest our garrison on Tuesday, took a lot of effort to kill him.

On topic, it is sad but RoS lost a major force and will probably end up dropping a tier. In fact, that’s what we want at this point.

how come no one mentioned loot bags while jumping? it happened so many times. I use my jump to interrupt sieges so I jump a lot and it happened a lot that enemies die as I’m jumping so the loot bags get stuck in the air and I can’t reach them (even if I jump in the same projectile I wont be able to acquire them).

Gentlemen, calm down. We’ve had excellent fights this week and last one. What’s there to complain? My friend’s comment here is meant to tease, not to insult so please do not take it in the wrong way. I tease my brothers everyday, does that mean I hate them? No, it doesn’t. If we kill you and brag about it, kill us and do the same but please don’t bring hateful comments that would disgrace this lovely match up, especially personal ones.

Besides, we getting focused is something that has happened already, and again no complaints there, its part of the game and we have to deal with it. If anything we never get bored because we never run out of enemies.

I’d also point out that Anet went ~5 years into gw1 without really providing any benefits whatsoever for gvg except kitten size. So, frankly, I’m glad to get any sort of rewards.

I don’t think people want rewards so much as they want to compete / fight on an even playing field. I would wager large sums of money that the over whelming majority of people playing WvW could care less about any rewards they may get and only ask for the " rewards " so they can be equally geared with every one else and not have to waste countless hours in PvE.

As someone who only plays WvW, any reward would be appreciated. Else I would never EVER finish my legendary.

About DZ its always the same that’s why i think they loose badly after they win against us (UW), they play ’’dirty’’, i mean they come (lots of times), after other 2 servers are fighting and take an easy keep/tower for them without effort, i believe that tactic could be fun on their point of view but with time they get owned by both other 2 servers cause nobody likes ’’lazy’’ easy cap tactics .
With RoS we had really nice battles but unfortunately not with DZ.

It happened like 3 times while I was commanding during this week in EB, but its fair and square so no complaints. Still, I will tell them to watch their backs ^^

Really good matchup. UW are currently leading but all three servers were leading at some point although I gotta admit, UW does this a lot. They start slow but keep rising unlike us or Dzg who completely dominate at some point and get dominated at another.

afaik XT is taking a break (not sure though).

On a side note, Dzg are like wasps. We do the work and they come and take everything. Snatched durios tonight when circle was up.

we’ve seen plenty of cheats/hacks regarding flying and teleporting mesmers, and I learned to give up. We caught it once of fraps and put it on youtube before, so its nothing new. Just be hopeful that Anet will fix this and ban such players, that’s all you can do.

don’t underestimate the power of scouting… If I see someone close to the zerg I will assume he’s scouting our moves, and so I will want to eliminate him before doing anything, especially if my group isn’t a huge zerg.
