Well in a way its still an accomplishment. Most that have that title are dungeon enthusiasts. There are great players without the title but i got mine WITHOUT exploits, portal guns, spy kits, spike fruit, portals, wall jumps, stacks, all while PUGing. Only after it i do stacks and high damage like everyone else.

Maybe they designed it that way to p i m p out player’s interest to grind out fractals. I understand that it is only a grind if we let it be but i hear world of warcraft is the design of run things forever in hopes of a super rare drop. Its such a tease and raises my blood pressure to invest large amounts of time to run fractals, 220g to armor up the last bit of AR i needed and simply have to spam for eternity till i get what i desire.

I like the fact of my current fractal skins are something players cannot buy but i feel bad for people that get ones they will not use as well as never getting the ones the are looking for. I only wanted the sword and axe but yet to see it.

i doubt this is true but runs that end up 2 hours and close to broken armor has resulted higher chances for skin or a box. Many run sets ive done are 1.5 hours. Looking back, ones that took longer and had wipes: shards of mists, chance at fractal skin. Only handful happended like that and leaves me to wonder if thats coincidence of a run to take longer and higher chance on rewards. Just to ponder.

I got weapon box but cleric stats. Happy and sad at once lol.

Im reaching 400 maps done and wonder whats the odds on the fractal tonic. Will run a 41-50 daily and report back the day i get one….if it exists.

Dont do what i did: tried the Salvage-o-matic on 8 dungeon exotics….no dark matters. Story of my life. Now i have to blow gold onto a pay-to-win specific kit.

Ascended crafting serves a couple purposes. Its a gold/material sink to artificially push inflation so that gem conversion will look more attractive over time.

Hardly arbitrary for “speed clear” teams. People have limited time and want to do as much as they can in the time they have. That’s pretty reasonable.

This is true and closed minded players with lots of time argue about. Time is limited, goals are high.

Well i too had the same argument once. Then i took an (legendary farming by dungeon spam) to the knee.

I fought all dungeons legitimately. I dont care to spend hours on a path over again. Damage from foes are too high to non-stack….which leads to double time spent….people downed….i get downed from rezing….everyone dead.

Go FRACTALS. Stacks dont exist there until certain maps where 15 foes rush you.

im a 74% crit when boosted war gets into a party with a ranger that has “spotter” im happy. It makes me obtain 84% crit as i rely upon sigil of blood and dragon roll to activate active hp steals. For me its a noticable difference.

I like eles because they are an artillery class to me. High damage but frontliners need to protect. Of course in the games state we need to do stacks. 25 stacks of might and 2 firey GS=massive DMG O_O

Pro-tip: (if you can) in empty party create the instance then enter the dungeon. List as “casual run”. No one boots because they A. seen ad title B. you own the instance if someone gets snippy.

Well from what i seen since the game went on sale was a mass influx of new players. I also notice that it is probable with all the students doing dungeons during school winter break. There is hope my friend…

School starts next week so restart PUGing then. I personally dont have issues with any runs but then again i join listings that say 80/speed.

Ok so this is the only close information I got from the official pvp changes post. I have been reviewing all of the current active posts and responses but they are only talking about ranks and suggestions. There isn’t really much talk about the other title tracks.

My question is: will the Champion title tracks be removed? In example Champion Paragon, Champion Legionnaire?

I m happy that the pvp sections gets reviewed more often by Dev’s/Anet than the PvE departments. I recall Fractals have lots of posts and less responses.

Ranks are what I respect the most because its the one thing you cannot buy. Anyone can exploit or buy a legendary weapon. If forging made it account-bound that would retain its respect for me.

A rank/title in pvp takes tangible time and efforts and is the end game goal for me: that still has a prestige factor. I was unaware of the skyhammer thing whatever it was. So therefore I now see there are some non-legitimate high ranked players at the moment.

TITLE CHANGES? I am unclear if they are getting rid of the “champion” based titles. I had much joy earning Champion Slayer and wanted to work on Champion Legionnaire. Its the only title in the game I really wanted, but takes time to get. I am 20/150 matches and want to know if I have time to get it before titles are gone.

… no wonder I couldn’t find it, I was previewing stuff in pvp locker and cant see human stuff. He also has cultural staff too Chest piece turns out to be feathered.

Making a Norn Ele and figured it would be cool to copy his set. So far I identified Stately head piece and Whisper’s leggings but other 4 pieces I have no idea. Being that this is WvW section everyone kills this NPC, thought I’d ask here XD.

Are yall REALLY going to start picking on warrior? Yes its a great class in PvE and I have only used that professions since head start. My issues are for people like me who don’t use meta builds and farm the random arena for rank points. I realistically have been tinkering for month’s trying to come up with something that isn’t the scam of a cheap spam build. Warrior is a terrible class to play because everyone else STUN locks and CONDITION spams you to death.

Now last night I watch 3 threads run here about how warrior needs to be nerfed…

What will be left of this profession for me to use if people cry about fire fields and the slow hammer actually to have a nice burst skill? I am tired of cloaks, and clones but that’s my personal issue. When I see mesmers and thieves coming at me I don’t even want to deal with that already known frustration. Warrior is melee class for the most part and everyone kites us to death.

So what am I to do if I actually want to play warrior? I can easily use the current spammed necro/ranger spirits/cannon thieves but the Champion Legionnaire title is something I’d like to make as a goal. Its becoming painful as warrior; doesn’t really have that unfair spammable stuff no one is currently complaining about (because it works in their favor to farm rank points)

My first impression of this was frustrating. It was basically: LOL→overflow, no one around run for your life! Died lots of times and only made it solo because I retraited into full survivability. Only till day 2 of event that it was no more overflow. It was something to do but I don’t like that it takes a zerg to make it from floor to floor.

I feel your pain. Guest out to different bigger server if no one or smaller server if constant overflow.

“LISTEN….I think we have more spies” hah I did too watch commanders fight last night over something stupid. Most tactical suggestions they only did on TS+verfied. No one wants to type anymore. Calling people out of TS use PUGs who will mess up their private zerg mobs.

Do it on reset night trololol XD. But yea seriously though I did a puzzle after my reset night work and no one was in all 4 puzzles.

Someone hear me out please. Last night, 40+ DB took EB keep in 3 minutes.

Ehmry Bay has its faults.
- We have no international player base to go against Dragonbrand/Crystal Desert.
- People only cared about capping and not defending.
- People are only capping because of WvW premier achievement thing.
- Purposely anger Dragonbrand by taking Stone Mist so they gather all their man power against us. Easy for those cappers to say. They take it then go to sleep because they got their 5th Castle achievement. Leaving night time players to deal with disgruntled Dragonbrand on vengeance zerging.

I have my faults
- I spent 6 hours upgrading and should have went to sleep like the rest.
- I didn’t learn that Ehmry Bay is empty after 1-3AM Eastern time.

The Ehmry Bay keep was full upgraded with 22 pieces of siege on it I personally built and refreshed. I even upgraded supply so that dolyaks from Dane/Umber do double loads+protected. I am flustered that 3 arrow carts and a catapult does NOTHING to defend a fully upgraded keep. All this mastery stuff breaks doors down faster. Siege doesn’t kill players faster that’s for sure.

So final thoughts as I depart from ever playing WvW with my efforts. If we are “outnumbered” shouldn’t there be something to work in our favor of those who do decide to defend objectives? No repair cost and MF means nothing to me. I am not a sore loser. I don’t care about losing to zergs and constant flipping of supply camps to my objectives. Nor the suicide assaults or Victorious ones onto Stone Mist. Its the logic that if it took 6 hours+ to build, then at least 15 minutes required assault time?.

In a “Silver” league level we don’t belong in; Ehmry Bay should be between Bronze and Silver. Call it Nickel. Its for servers that are 9am to 5pm with no nightshift.
