Only reason i dropped FGJ is because i only like to do runs with an ele. Im flexible to even run dual banner for the added team power. Im more concerned with dmg added to the team count than their personal fury uptime. Some professions can produce it on their own. I also play around with the human skill that makes a buff/condi with 10 sec cooldown. It makes me get aegis 1:5 chance or retalliation, which is cool and ununobtainable to a warrior.

Yes you can swap the runes to scholar, strength or even hoelbrak. Dont forget ferocity is the critcal hit modifier. It may not be max damahe but the team benefit for 5-10% lost personal DPS is an ok price to pay versus 100% DPS and subpar team buffs that make everyone else at 90%. Take one for the team :P

i got same code. Entire party booted from fractals into the log-in screen. Delays when attempting to log in the stalls at character selection. Either at log in window or character selection i get that code.

Go assassin stats, signet of fury, superior rune of rage for 100% fury uptime to drop for great justice into something else, omnomberry ghost for precision and stealing health on crit hits, maintenance oil for precision, will be best for a PS Build. I survive from hp steals, healing signet, and being light on my feet. Even if you did soldier stats,it is still a deadly environment.

Dont underestimate the power of hp steal in crits. Sometimes i can gain 253 per 1-2 seconds. With stated above set up im 101.7% crit chance to make 25 might in 2 seconds on a mob.

The rune also has 5% dmg always as lonng as you have fury up, granted from GS burst skill. Yes above 66% crit is overkill but i maintain party might stacks with no guard nor ele.

P.S. be careful not to fully advertise this build. Id hate for it to get nerfed lol.

Never seen that but i chuckled at mysef once in a 50 run, someone hit the exit button the same time we finished the boss map...we all went back to lobby and no end run ground or wiggly chest. 0_0

I run fractals because it is the most challenging 5 person instance that makes you do teamwork. All 8 dungeons is skips/stacks/exploits. You can do the same in fracs but not always. Therefore its a dynamic experience.

More than 20 of us on jade quarry confimed vocally of skill lag to client D/C or crash. My client stalled out and barely reacted to activating skills. Animation was slightly frozen of, lets say a guardian staff.

Lowest graphics settings and wired internet, 13-50 FPS, 70-200 ping. Not sure what it is.

Id love to know what exactly is the winning tactic. It always ends up a team is good at killing but bad at capping. Other times, it is winning well but a last minute map gimmick causes the other team to win. I to have an increased losing streak since ladder test start. Ill never forget how i was 17-0 before and now only win around 35%. Not fun getting rekt by rank 80’s and premades.

I would like to know where to find TS based guilds that can teach because no one advertises much of that unless, some kind of pvx rebuilding.

Yes, i to have a giant losing streak occuring. I chug my way through just for rank points. Hurts and i try to learn from such competition but end up stun locked and nuked into oblivion.

One game yesterday was 98-500 loss, and many 300-500’s.

Im not understanding why pvp rank is not taken into account in regards to "ranked arena." I would assume i shouldnt be placed against r70 and 80’s bit it is occuring.

I think the people that love this system are most likely:
->highly skilled pvper’s: farming new/low skill pvper’s, whom all have new standings to be matched up to them.
->Therefore the rich get richer, skilled people rise up to where they are suppose to be whilst the lesser remain to be farmed by others who still need to build their standing.
->It isn’t fun being on the side who gets farmed by good players.

Maybe I will rejoin pvp when the crumbs are left on the table.

I don’t like it. Before, I was around 17 wins and 0 loss. Now I have tried ranked arena with refreshed status, losing them all. It wasn’t about winning, it was about fair competition. In ranked arena, I am against highly skilled people beyond who I should be matched with. Constantly getting ganked by shark and dragon ranks with 500vs300 point games. Just a peanut wolf rank here.

I just hope the beta testers actually do a good job. The first couple months of GW2 release...never forget. The mountains of stuff to fix because testers were only concerned with being amazed at the environment vs testing.

I think i changed my mind at beta testing. I like the first dayexcitement of players working together because no one knows what to do. Once people figure stuff out, its rare to see map wide teamwork/assistance.

But what exactly is end game? Players are quick to say thete isnt one and never suggest solutions nor examples of what could be end game content.

Its as if players are saying im hungy...for what? tasty food!...ok well what would taste good?

I will prepare my wallet easily for cantha to come back. It was a very interesting land despite its ugly foes that roamed it. It’s asian feel was much more fun to me along side the renaissance kingdoms of tyria.

Sometimes it seems like Anet closed the door on everything that was in GW1 and tried to make GW2 something new. Do not reinvent the wheel that far. This game is still banking off veterans; if you don’t make them happy of what standards you set for them, it can be devastating to them (as per company to customer relationship).

Whats so hard about just copy and pasting previous land ideas from GW1 if its GW TWO. If nothing will be resembled in GW2, might as well call it tyria online.

I would love daily ’quests’ of some kind. Something like the Zaishen quests. Or some kind of scavenger hunt...or something like Nick used to want.

This is partially your answer. The Zaishen NPC’s and assigned quests of the day were a nice supplemental activity to complete. It was a lot more enjoyable than thread-mil like daily achievements. The Zaishen quests would take me all across the lands, looking for something, a bounty, or an objective to do. Its a lot better than looking for dead NPC’s in the asuran map, killing bugs in Rata Sum and hitting up a cabbage patch.

15k AP’s from daily and monthly potential really makes me lost respect for high AP players. Perhaps all they did was know the best spots on where to kill ambient creatures. No fun or prestige in that. If to say, the zaishen quests were to kill a specific champ, take a certain wvw tower/keep, map complete X map, that would be cooler than the current Daily/Monthly.

The whole collect items for nick was also fun. It helped me to learn areas more immersed and wander around joyfully. Collecting 25 iris flowers? consider it done!

Ah nice insights and tactics. I heard someone say stand behind them but not sure what that meant at first. Now i see how to get close from getting kite’d. Often times cycling through attunements as im learning ele, feels like im break dancing on the keyboard to chain the skills. Tis a nice class though with variety.

Is any elite skill used much for ele? Friend said never use FGS . So I pressume the elemantal.

As an ele, been having a difficult time pondering how to beat them. What happens at first, the range burst from a distance whils pets distrct you down. I attempt auras, blocks, rolls, side stepping and pressure. I would condi clear the vulnerability and immobilized but still get hit like a truck.

When i try to move in, most have invuln to CC’s and stun, they kite me or stealth to reposition a distance while im entangled. Most have rock dog to deal with on top of pet. Played 3 matches with 3 rangers… getting rekt. Im asking around how to beat this power class as its rising popularity is getting annoying.

If i cant beat them, join them?

You can do what lil puppy said. I didnt catch that post but i second it. But still performance may differ vs just intalling on all comps. You can also start an installation, delete its dat file and paste in the 18Gb file into place. Takes maybe 20minutes. Change permissions in the dat file properties so all users and write the file and open GW. It will repair the dat and good to go. This method is to implant the entire file onto computers.

By chance if lil puppy’s method works like plug and play by all means.

Idk about the dungeons part. I did that only and took me twice amount of time vs frostgorge.

Atm i am helping a friend get the Hunter so my hands are tied. The right guild sometimes will glady give out odds and ends if you actively interact with them.

Only way to hold the dat file is copying as a NTSC not FAT32.

This really seems to be a human-centric problem. You see all kinds of colors and shades of fur, skin, and bark across Tyria.

Well Tyria is diverse as a nation. Norns and humans however tend to be of the same kind.

Fractals is a good challenge to an extent. You cannot do the exact same thing on every fractal run like you could say CoF.

More likely made for top tier or peak time NA servers that have large WvW playerbase.
