It should be working now – I entered Diessa Plateau late last evening on my current character and Shaman Purda was not only working, people were activating him almost continually to the point that it got kind of irritating. :P
The amount being asked to gamble is way too much for a low (15-25) level. It should be 1 silver at most, or 50 copper. In fact that whole event needs to be reworked so that it’s clearer to the players how it’s accomplished. I ran over that whole patch of ground for close to an hour trying to figure out how the “cattleputt” worked, including placing a couple of bets with its operator, before I stumbled, pretty much completely by accident, across the popup box at its front explaining how to work the device so that it fired my character at the tower.
It’s also broken for me. I got all the way through Fireheart Rise without dying, and got from about halfway through level 78 to about a level and a half above level 80, which certainly should have translated to at least 200k XP, but that particular meter is still stuck at 0. I’ve achieved Monthly Survivor, of course.
The skill challenge “Ancient Shark Pistrix” in Sparkfly Fen isn’t working. The sharks are just swimming around, marked as friendly (green).
Skill challenge bugged in Iron Marches at Carnifex (sp?) Lake in the northwest of the zone. I’ve completed everything else except this one nagging little item – reminds me of when that skill challenge in Plains of Ashford was bugged in the first few days of the game.
