Last year I couldn’t do it. I couldn’t beat her. I’ve spent more than 100 tickets. Many times the failure ended with a rage quit for that day. This year I said to myself ‘Oh what the hell…’ and spent 70 more tickets After another 50 tickets and few rage quits I’ve managed to kill her on 13 fps and a serious lag.

Yes it is a hard fight, but everybody can learn the pattern and then the only thing you need, is practice

No it is not, it can be also done with a necro and devs have confirmed that it is not a buggy way to beat her

No this isn’t Sims, you’re right, however housing offers a nice long term goal for players. I loved housing in LOTRO, I could display my trophies, decorate it, there were so many cool things I could get there and getting each one felt like an accomplishment. It offered an interesting progression system for a player. So this is the reason, why.

New weapons – hammer for my engi.

I don’t miss the holy trinity, I like the combat as it is. If only you couldn’t stack and simply dps the boss down but really have to move that would be awesome. However I miss being a healer, I hope that some day the devs figure out the way for the support builds to be necessary.

Just to answer this question, actually you could find a cut out forest in Kessex Hills near the lake some time before the patch.

Then with a loud BOOM the door of the dominion of wind flies open and a massive tengu army is standing there lead by there emperor. He bellows “STOP KNOCKING ON OUR DOOR” and draws his mighty bow and with one shot hits scarlet and send her flying into the mystic forge. Zommoros lets out a mighty moan and after a few minutes throws out a leaf of kudzu which the emperor picks up then turns his army around then goes back home to build his legendary.

This would be the most awesome ending

I personally disagree with WP that it is “just” a voice actor because the narrator uses the term “you” AND “she”. He/It never says “Scarlet”.

A proper narrator would identify the subject (Scarlet) being the distant narrator, and a proper narrator wouldn’t identify you. That’s why I think this is an in-game narrator “talking” to “you”.

Oh come on really? Even when devs said that it is only a cool voice which doesn’t belong to any character?

Charr are an awesome race and Charr females are even more awesome. It’s a pity people don’t play them more.

There are already suggestions I wanted to make so I just have to say I like the idea of chainsaw kit and long range rifle, it would convince me to make a legendary because right now I use pistol and shield and do not like their legendaries, they just not feel like engi weapons but the rifle does. Now it must feel ridiculous attacking shotgun style with a long barreled silencer legendary Oh and also different skins for the kits and turrets please

Personally I like the T3 medium armor, especially the headpiece and gloves

I believe it is possible in future expansions.

I use grenade and bomb kit with full explosions and inventions trait lines. I make a LOT of damage and can also heal myself and the others that are close using the bomb kit.

Problem is that he’s still under level 40, and hence a far way from getting all the traits to help with survivability. At his level, a flamethrower would still let him survive better, frankly.

True, but still I find grenades more suitable for survivability than flamethrower because you have a very long range and do not need to stay close. Sure it is harder to play with them because of the aoe targetting but when he learns to do it he can kite easily and produce a massive damage. And that is the goal of this thread isn’t it?

Not every build is OP dmg, engi is more suitable for control and support in my opinion but I had no problems pulling groups of mobs with a veteran that were 3-4 levels higher than me and finishing them quickly. Engi is about tactics and movement. As I say there is not an NPC that my grenade and bomb kit could not handle

I play both but in comparison to engi ranger feels… not so much fun. Once you play with the kits you will never go back And Anet finally fixed the autoattack on them.

I really dislike Trahearne. He is too good, has horrible accent and he has made my Personal story a Story of Trahearne and his companion. Before him I felt like a hero, loved all characters. I don’t want to lead big armies, that would be stupid, we would end with million of generals but I do want to feel that this story is PRIMARILY about me.

And yeah Sieran should not died. I was so sad. She was an excellent character with a funny personality. It was cherry

Grenades for the distance and for close encounters bombs (you should use bombs 75% of the time because of the traits that favor them and make them heal you). With some practice you should be able to hold the point against the 2 opponents just perfectly and killing them would be much more easy. Try it, this build is a lot of fun

2 bomb and grenade kits for massive dmg, in dungs I swap one sometimes for elixir gun that is the best support for me

This is my build. It offers a great survivability for engi. In PvE I don’t have problem with any mobs and I got used to pull 4 and more and kill them very fast and effectively. I start with the grenades and if/when they finally get to me I switch to the bomb kit and finish them off brutally. Yesterday I tried this in explo AC and it was very good.

The point is that you use bombs 75% of the time and your battles are quick and deadly for your encounters. And with the toughness bonus and quick deploying, the kiting and survivability are great

Totally agreed with OP. It is very hard to find a weapon that does not look too small. Yesterday I have finally found a shield that looks huge with my asura but I don’t have objections against the shields. One handed weapons and hammers do look too small. I would suggest that Anet would implement with the dye system also weapon scale system. Nothing extremely big or small but some normal adjustments to solve these problems and everyone would be even more unique.
