I don’t believe any of us recognize the word lose easily unless it’s in a sentence involving “the other team.” If you were really wanting to grab the attention of the masses, you would state your purpose and goal for all of this. As a stakeholder in a project that you would want to do such as this, what am I going to benefit from doing this? Would your goal even truly get hit?

Some things you would want to personally review before trying to get a ton of people to even remotely want to do what you are recommending is evaluate the “what would Anet do?” scenario. Anet would probably not care and make a post stating that they will do tiebreakers for the 3 way ties. That would be the simplest resolution for teams being tied for positions. Is this supposed to be some sort of protest toward Anet on making leagues? With that in mind, I don’t believe you are going to rally the support you are aiming for, just for the mere fact that at least we have something. Keep in mind this game is not pay per month based and we do get updates with skill balance changes, some WvW changes here and there, even with their overall focus on PvE which would be their cash cow. We as WvW’ers are the minority compared to the PvE masses that are out there.

Good to be able to use multiple weapon sets across your PvE career Staff is good for a lot of things. What I’d add is dagger offhand is usually out of favour compared to focus offhand in PvE. You’ll see a tonne of builds around which utilise it as the weapon of choice.

I have my doubts with arcane power’s cd being 45 seconds, so it’s a bit of time to pull off the combo, but I can imagine some insanely funny instagibs on glass cannons thieves.

I think I’d like to see some vids before I go on hating on it, because it could still be quite good. I think that’s enough armour to not have to rely too much on protection.

But yeah, my main problem is the dps you’ll be trying to do outside arcane power cd, but that’s mostly because I like my 30% crit + fury and really wary of escaping from that >< Other then that, looks like a fun build with some potential! Nothing wrong with thinking outside the box, I say!

You zerglings are nuts. oPP have really good members. I agree that sometimes you can see 5 of their guild roaming together (sometimes bigger, but it happens). But most of the time I see these guys only in groups of 2-3.

If you’re solo roaming, you’re going to feel picked on by them as it’s a fight you’re never going to win (trust me). They’re a roaming guild, they’re not always by themselves so get over it.

The way I see it, if you’re going to critizise a guild for roaming in packs when you find it comfortable enough to suffer in a map blob, EVEN WHEN TAKING THE MIDDLE NODES, then honestly, look in a mirror.

To come onto the forums to make fun of a guild who run small enough numbers that they don’t completely destroy any level of playability in this game is amazing.

Hmmm, I think it’s a bit viable. In PvE, kitten no. But for roaming and kitten could work. It just doesn’t have the spam that other classes have with it, so someone good with their cleanses can really go to work with you. But Drake’s Breath… that skills insane!

I think they do need a little bit of a nerf. If you think it’s a l2p thing, then….

They’re so strong at the moment. Sure, if you dont have the condi clears to deal with you should kite, but it gets ridiculous, to the point where sometimes you’re running around taking free hits. 5 stacks is’t bad, and more often then not I’ll keep attacking though 5 if I have no cleanses as I can handle that much without it being too much of a headache, but then it just keeps coming and coming. A person doesn’t have to be too smart with it, they can just spam it and spam it and spam it. That’s where the problem is. You can learn to play around to a point I think before you realise that they do actually need to be toned down. A lot of people decide not to use these runes because of just how powered they are, and to a lot of WvWers I know have been dubbed scumbag runes, which is exactly what they are.

I know it’s hella fun using them against people and just watching them choke to all that confusion damage, but I don’t know, I just feel that it’s so easy to spam for some classes, to that point where it seriously needs some sort of tweak.

Commanding in EU usually meant that I would’ve had to have taken militia and coordinate dual hits with HB and RK – staying up to fight them to see how they would fare (tbh they had a low guildee showing) wasn’t because I wanted to burn at both ends and was doing overtime. If you command a lot you often want to see if the guys you usually play with are up to scratch, playing in EU was more because I was curious to see if RK/PLX/HB would smash my group (95% JQ militia) as JQ has been historically weak in EU as it has no current guilded presence. There is plenty of militia in that time-slot, all they need is someone to lead them (cough cough, need EU guilds).

The best fights I’ve had all year have been against the BG ones since we left, as we cut a lot of dead weight from the guild when we moved off. Making a 3rd underdog server that hasn’t been competitive for first place for competitive again is part of the enjoyment you get from leading and JQs community is just as welcoming as BGs was. We are still the only guilded presence that has its prime ~5-9pm AEST as opposed to the previously stacked BG OC which had 3 OC guilds that usually ended in a ROFL-stomp on BGs behalf mostly from the part of them having a large militia and guild presence 24/7. We improved competition by moving as JQ was legitamately the underdog when it came to competition, as having one-sided fights is fun for no-one and moving from the previously Rank 1 server to the previously Rank 3 shifts the meta of T1 so that we get more fights in more timezones as opposed to everyone stacking in their respective timezones.

Why even mention MERC leaving. They had very little effect. TKG on the other hand, had a large effect on the balance of the servers because they are actually good at the game.

considering that we went out looking for fights, not karma training, with out 30ish people we had online, everything in your post is null and void. We asked people to come and have some fun fights, but after roflstomping all over Biebertrix and COIN, he cried for help and in came both RK and HB to run with him and megablob everything.
Not fun to play with 2 fps due to your huge numbers. But we did however get some fighting and got quite a lot of bags too so it wasn’t all bad. I still do, pot And I wouldn’t compare my posts with anything Neuromancer has made. He flat out just said SoR thinks that numbers = skill. A presumption for the large part is wrong. He’s just being sour at the moment for some odd reason. Maybe it was my joke, which I guess is fair, but I felt that poking a but of fun wouldn’t be so bad as a similar situation happened about a page back where an SoR member was accused of taking something too seriously.
