Clearly SoR’s success has nothing to do with transfers, all core guilds,

HiRe, Tysm, Ocx, AFS, TW, IRON, SAHP etc SBI, Desolation, IoJ, SoS

At the moment regardless of how you flip the coin, SoR has Late EU/NA EST advantage which allows them to push in BG weak zone, full cap things then plant 80mans on the walls, not that hard to do. We did that to JQ back on SoS, wasn’t because JQ SEA wasn’t beastly it was because we could prepare zones for FoO logging in and we knew how to defend them.

Considering you’re the only JQ player who posts messages like these in match-up threads, you should consider transferring to BG where you’d fit right in.

Blackgate not only plays to win, they play to have fun also… The two go hand-in-hand on that server.

Not talking about BG. Was just talking about you guys and your dislike of facing SoR and the utter glee you had in your last match up, which I hear was won by a very large margin. What I was simply noting is that you don’t want to fight the server that was number 1 in t1, but you both took comfort in the fact that you had become that same ‘monster’ in the eyes of the other two servers. Not only this, but you gloated over this, which made it even worse!

I enjoy the match up win or loss. In it for the battles. Sure, sometimes it is tough when you lose, but it gets boring winning all the time and above all what we should all be looking forward to the most is a challenge. Which is why I think its great that RG is back, even if somehow they flipped things in JQ’s favour and they become the top dog (which I don’t think will happen but meh).

I don’t get this. Do BG just like ROFLstomp winning all the time? Sometimes I get the feeling that BG just don’t like a challenge. They get so hurt and defensive when they aren’t in the lead, and, honest to god, bring out all the excuses in the book. What exactly don’t you like about this match up?

This is the feeling I get, but I know this is far from the truth. There are some great people in BG and I wish that it were these people who were exemplified in the forums rather then these QQing kitten measuring forum warriors. It’s like they think this is a soap box for them to bloody moan and whinge.

If you don’t like the match up, go ahead and transfer somewhere else. Nothing is stopping you.

Theres like 2 SoS there, and people just have to spawn camp them? It’s a pretty kitten move.

Much respect for SoS though. You guys are hanging in there, and you’ve shown more determination then other servers that have been in T2 when the going gets tough.

Who cares? I’ve witnessed every server spawn camping with a small group of people in the past two days. 6 people is a very small sample size of any of our wvw populations

O.o Who on TC was spawn camping? We’re VERY much against this as a server.

Regardless of who though, it’s very unclassy and not sportsman like at all… especially against a rank 7 server.

The thing is it ain’t that big of an issue in my opinion. There are literally 3 possible exits that a player can exit from their base. Maybe the possibility of a player taking an alternative route to the one being camped isn’t in the TC or SOS playbook?

And again, there were only 6-8 players stated as spawn camping. That’s nothing.

I take even more offense that this is meant to give a bad image to SoR. It’s bogus. Sure, it’s not the nicest thing to do, but it ain’t a biggy.

Didn’t know spawn camping was still something to moan about on forums. Usually we just stick to zerg size and arrow cart use, so yeah.

If anything, SoR has more emote spammers and I usually tell guys off if they do that because it is pretty douchy. I prefer to tell people to bow if we’ve had a good fight, but emote spamming is usually done by a handful of individuals from all servers.

Sure we do, but I’ve only notticed the BG emote spammers are quite active in MERC zergs. I agree it’s completely douchy and i even go out of my way to tell the guy who laughs over somebodies body after a duel to have a little respect and how kitten rude it is.

If you think we do it more, you’re dreaming though. Sometimes it’s pages and pages and pages from you guys. And it happens with the MERC zerg. Maybe you have all the BG trolls following (you got oxide with you, so that’s a start), but yeah, it is only an observation. Or maybe it only happens when Magikarps’ is leading :PPP

I think one thing that gets lost a little bit lost is how strong each tier actually is. It’s hard to properly compare them to servers of other tiers because, well, we never face them. If each tier could get a taste of what a tier’s server was like, people could have a fair idea and would know what it needs to become stronger to compete with the heavier servers.

I found out recently that IRON are really good, at combat logging. You know who you are Ele in SOR borderlands (angry face). Was a real let down but had some nice 1v1s with another TYSM ele over quaggans. I got you 3 times, but you had the last laugh. TYSM are always good for a dual, respect!

So it seems the other servers are experiencing what SoR had to deal with since day 1 in Teir1… did we fall out of Tier 1 or did we keep fighting? Especially BG, you guys were mocking SoR since you got your first “Gold” now we are going to be tied. But we have more Silvers…….Medal wise we will be better (This was your form (BG) of measurement months back, remember) unless you do something about this impending win….

BTW I had no idea about the rivalry with BG, then I saw how all of these guilds flocked to you and then disappeared, yet you guys kept whining. Out of all the T1 servers you got the most guilds, what have you done with them? Each month I hear more and more whining when the “Grab all the Guilds” plan fails. Build your own guilds from Blackgate, consolidate the Guilds that fell apart and want to stay, into one guild. Just do something instead of crying.

Anyhow good luck in the future (I hope a lower Tier doesn’t wipe you too soon, that would just be an ego boost to them, I do actually want to fight BG in the future, I need to get my second legendary, couldn’t get the first without the loot bags!)

Much respect for JQ, you guys have always proved why you have the most medals and long standing T1 community. So go out fighting and don’t whine about coverage please. You guys used to have a monster force on coverage which was a challenge to face. We understand the fair weather types and perhaps they got spoiled with the hardwork some of your guilds put in for #1. Now your down (but not out) and by whining here your giving the PUGS a reason not to show up, when you need them more than ever at this point to field numbers. May seem like a bit of JQ love, but hell JQ earned my respect:)

SoR keep fighting the fight, we have a huge shadow laid before us in the form of JQ to overcome. Too much ego will make us fall, not enough will make us stagnate. Remember where the server roots came from and where we are at now. No matter the odds we are here to fight!

this isn’t about coverage or winning or losing, it’s about a shoddy game design that doesn’t encourage balanced gameplay. SOR will start bleeding players shortly due to boredom, can you not see a pattern here? – It’s all because ANET allow servers to stack and then dominate WvW. Remember what happened to HOD, SOS, the list goes on.

SOS died because some guilds didn’t like coming in second.

By the time we made this post we had 25-30 players (32 in ts) and were just looking for a fight, but literally no one would come out to fight us and ran at the first sign of our tags even though we were outnumbered at this time. The post was not arrogance it was purely a desire to play the game.

I fight whether we are 5 or 40 and don’t care if we win or lose or how many we are fighting, we don’t run (it’s a game after all we aint dying in RL). Mind you that JQ SEA zerg was truly something to see, even the Vizunians would of been proud of that.

Yes I would be happy for a GvG against anyone, but we would have to do it so we both get our main players on at the same time.

But TKG aren’t a very big guild, in their defence. If they do run around in zergs it’s usually their members following another commander or them leading pugs. but I’ve never seen them anything close to a Waha force.

So I could see a 25 v 25 man guild brawl being a good option.

This is straight up boring. I miss when first and second were only 10k away from each other going into a Tuesday. At least there was some excitement going into the final stretch of the week.

Maybe if BG was actually showing up it would be more interesting. Just throwing it out there. JQ has been around, they are fighting harder than I have seen them fight for a while now! People here are right, you should take a page from SoR, and play no matter what. Then again, this is what happens when you build a server around being in that green spot, can’t say I’m surprised.

As some one who have lead BG EU for long time this is fun.

SoR and fighting no mater what is not a realty man. Yes when you are flushed with wins then you will come out, but when BG played over time where where your SoR then?? Sorry, but with how it is now we are busy trying to keep our own stuff and that takes away any chance of us starting a massive fight.

As a officer you should know better then this and have a understanding of movement and troop deployment. If you are a PvE officer then i understand why you would lack this very basic knowledge pertaining to deployment’s in a zone’s and how fights flow.

SoR don’t stay up late. They do the opposite — wake up really early and play.

You get the odd guy staying up late, but I think most of it is to kind of keep the kinship between the different timezones. So, like, we know the people who are commanding in off hours and they aren’t just stories you hear from yester-morning.

But yeah, it is true every server does have its fair weather players. But c’mon. Maybe things will change for BG next week, who knows. What I’ve seen from JQ is that the ones that are there have accepted that they won’t be number one all week — and that that doesn’t matter.

Originally JQ was built to be green, but this month has been a wake up call for them. Some have bit the bullet and ditched JQ for green on another pasture. The ones that are here now are here to fight.

But win or loss, SoR did have forces which came out to fight. Obviously the added pressure from KN did deal to the oceanics and SEA, but that’s largely gone now — mostly because we’re winning now, but there were guilds who had a bit of a break.

I think the speech was instrumental in a lot of things for SoR. You might not like it, but it wasn’t FOR you. And the video itself is OLD. Way back when SoS just broke down leaving SoR to be the punching bag. They were in a position where a lot of other servers probably would have crumbled.

I just have to say this. The scores are really even. Like, there’s not much seperating the 3 servers. Scores like this can flip in a single day.

People crying about SoRs NA can go QQ somewhere else. I think NA servers have the sustainable population to be able to make good NA guilds.

If people are crying about the odds being against them then I don’t they would have lasted a freakin’ day in SoR.

But yeah, if you feel SO passionately about this NA coverage issue it only takes a silver to make your own. If you don’t have the dedication to strengthen a coverage gap which should essentially be the strongest then you have issues. Serious ones. Find something better to moan about. Get better. Scrubs.

I’m sorry but I cannot respect a guild who leaves a server just because they aren’t winning anymore, let alone to the “next t1 server”.

I don’t wish OMEN luck, I wish them all possibilities of misfortune when they depart. I know that all guilds who move servers are not bandwagoners, but in this instance OMEN is 100%, undeniably a bandwagon guild.

I, myself, am not of JQ (SoR, in fact), but that doesn’t stop me from utterly despising you guys.

Thanks for the fights IRON/HIRE/NYS, tbh we kinda did see the IRON tag and follow you around the map because I wanted to push you so you would push back. Nice to see IRON is pretty solid on open field, I just hope that they play more independently as opposed to the current SoR Meta of blobing it up in oceanic (I know it wasn’t your primetime) and disregarding all other maps. Regardless, its good to see a fresh face to the tier, and welcome to tier 1 NA.
