Its only trade-off in gameplay wise… if we go Domination/dueling/Chrono we miss only Illusions trait, but we gain like 3x shatter.. but when we wants play condi we can eithter go Domination/chaos illusion or Chrono both will give some things. For sure Mesmer got few viable builds, now its up to pr0 play3r5 to +/- them and made only 1 viable… xd

Eles is broken only in PvE and no near balance. The Icebow and AOE AFK Hitboxes. Place AOE frome 600y go afk and you will do 80k dmg in few seconds… while you stack fury/might and swiftness, Give good AoE blind, provide Deep frost and Ice Bow etc etc. If you compare other profesion they either have dmg or support, or at leas balance dmg with support. There is no other “such balanced” profession that can provide so much dmg/support to table at once.

FGS as any other Flame walls didnt work as itnended, they mealt “things” if they stay in them, Anet clearly state tha was not working as intended. It was bug that was fixed stop cry bcos we could abuse it.

2nd
1 skill as Ice bow Overshadow mesmer/rangers/necros/engis as whole classes by dmg/support, upon that with 2 ele (hi meta) you can use 4 bows at one, and with thief sword basicaly perma deep frost bosses.

Atm problem is not that Mesmer/rangers/Necros or Engi being weak, its more that Ele is highly op with AOE hit boxes and utility with Bows.

Elemental Attunement should NOT be a GM

I don’t understand how the devs can make Illusionary Persona and Illusionary Elasticity baseline for mesmers, but force us to choose between the EAs.

PLEASE, PLEASE make a self-only version of Elemental Attunement a baseline functionality for us, and convert the GM version to extend the effect to allies.

Its rly bad to compare IP to Eva and Attument.. both EVA and Attuemnt have great AoE Wide effect, and are supperior to IP.

Im sure on 100% thats is pure PVP change. So yea, Eva and attument higly oversahdow IP in PVP, so thats why they did it. If you dont see why, its bcos you dont care about balance.

With new Traits when you can go 6Earth/6Water/6Arcane you dont need both of them. You dont need cond clear bcos of Diamond skin, and you dont need 3s protect bcos you can tank whole party in Earth attument. Stop cry about old builds, start think how you can abuse new one.

There is also a lot of unwanted overlap in lesser trait lines… and condition builds are all completely destroyed, for mesmer, necro, warrior, ranger… which is not a big problem for ele though, for elementalist conditions seems possible you can go medium conditions from power and toughness, unfortunately they only proc fire and bleeds… then again…. it allows for a different approach…

The fact though elemental attunement and evasive arcana ae competig for a slot, while the master trait line is meh… is a big dissapointment…

afff… dont know how others… but Mesmer got Huge buffs in conditions, especialy 1stack confussion per 1crit of mesmer or his illusions (bassicaly pistol will wreck ppl with bleed and confusion stacks and 50%cd reset if you interrupt som1)

ETA I’m surprised there’s not more discussion on the removal of the trait that gave enemies confusion with glamours.

4 sec summon? boy I’m glad I play another guild wars 2 than you.

Even if those phantasms only hit once and die, they still did more damage than you with your aa. Unless you could cleave. If there are 2 or more targets, don’t summon any single target phants, your aa would deal more damage than they ever will.

Btw most durable is the duellist, the ofhand sword goes melee and is often the target of aoes (unless it attacks where it dodges). Warden never dies while reflecting though.

Bet? you need waste average 4s to summon 3 phantams?
numbers in game:
Sword man casting time=1s
PW casting time=1s
Signet of the Ether casting time=1s
If you want unleash full power of 3 Phantoms you need waste kitten

yea you dont play Gw2, or you dont know how many time you waste summoning them.
Thats why Ele is broken. They insta summon Lava front that tick for 6-9k dmg whhile summoning MS(2s cast) that hit for like 15k each.. and follow Ice bow that is stupidly (next 1.5s)

You dont get my idea… I mean WE should BE ABLE to trait Phantoms to not get insta-rekt by random aoe’s or better way, they should by immune to them by default.

Dunno what buff/gear you have, in CoE my Phantom Swordsman constantly hit for 9/10k crits, and Iwarden do like 10-15k spins every 5s. And its still not top, i saw on streams how ppl got 17k dmg with them.

Seems fair to me if they would make it default really…

I mean, the cooldown is pretty long – so it is not like you can AoE Interrupt that frequently with it

Thats why its not worthy of use, if This Trait could Reduce it CD by 6s per target hit i think it could be used, other way Persona is best option.

off hand sword are most durable, but yea Focus Phantom Traited should be Immunite To AoE dmg. But i cna agree on tata… nothink is more dissapointed than 4s wasted to summon things that die 1s later… cos random aoe happens…

Overal Mesmer can put crazy dmg, each phantom can dish 10/15k dmg every 5s with mesmer having stable 7k dps.

Actualy Dwarfs, Seer, Mursat and Jotuns with Forgottens fight dragons when they return first time, its huge lore flow, and many things happens in this time. But yea there is no close connection, other than reunion all Races to Defeat Dragons.

Dunno if Gods fear them or they didnt know how to deal with tehm, time for some Gw lore:

And second:

“. It is said that the Six Gods brought the forgotten to the world as well; however this is now questionable given their dealings with the Elder Dragons. Regardless of their origins the forgotten were tasked as being caretakers as the Six Gods built Arah and terraformed the land.”

Sure is that the Forgotten been at 1st arrival of Dragons, and after that Dragons hibernate again… so either Gods send them to repel dragons, or they chose them to Guide others.

Shatter is shatter, you shatter>things die, they wont change it. Better option would be buff shatter dmg (like it does 3x dmg to creatures in pve/building great counter to Turrets/pets ) and make traits that give you things on shattering them more viable, like: Shattering now give blast finisher

1st off.. Anet Hate mesmer, learn, and acept, Mesmer had 3 viable builds that was great
1)Primal shattere- (i remember when you could 100>0 tank Guardian) it was toned down still great
2)Condition Confusion- it was a bit op, bcos ppl afk 111111 with 15stack and QQ about op.. then Anet give Confussion to others… and nerfbat this to ground
3)Shutdown- was one of best thing Anet give mesmer… and nerfed in like 1 week bcos ppl QQ

But yea Engi turret take no skill, afk run,are op like for some months now, nothing changes, same go for Conditions other than confussion.

Its not Hard to see, that Anet can make any other viable build, but they just dont care.

1st its not to have one “build”, and second… game itself dont force only Berserk, its players way to + / – that force others to play only berserk., but yea its all by Anet for not doing anything about that. And yeah 80 in lfg is Ele/guard/Thief bers meta/exp/+10ap bullkitten xd

Its strange that some ppl dont see imbalance in Silik… On 100% Anet wanted to ride off Silik as t2/3/4 mats, but twice more than other mats was truly overshoot, its just stupid and make no sense at all. As ppl Mention:

Nodes>you cna farm them daily, get frome weapons

Wood>you can get frome daily, and over that, salvage is not even worthy in most cases (rng Ancient wood )

Leather> is everywhere in mass… Value of lether is far beyond bottom, its funny but you get more Leather by seling leather items, tha nactualy salvage them.. if no1 see problem here i have no words.

And Silik: The only way is Salvage Armors and items that provide Silik there is no other option, and over that we need twice more of them than other t5 mats

And no1 will tell me its “fine”. Anet make mistake, they will not fix it, or sey we made mistake.

But Over that i guess new map daily map rewards will fix it and provide more ways to get silik.

Anet just phailed at Phantoms… they meant to be “3D Curses” that stick on targets ad pop dps over long time. But its totaly other hand.

they should be counterpart to Conditions, but
Conditions: are supperior, huge dmg over time, easy to aply, clean dont hurt them
OP 3D Hexs: Have huge spike dmg ever 5/8s, Huge coldowns (most is 15/30s) for some reason long casting time, easy to ride of by any cleave/AoE

I rly think Anet need to make Phantoms More like a Real Curses and make Phantoms totaly immunite to AoE (even Cleave) so only Direct dmg can kill them, and change the way they attack/do dmg to fell like an actual curse and foce players to focus on them as they should.

I like this, rly good work man… but Anet /carelsess at Mesmer since game start. For some reason i think some ppl at Anet hate mesmer. My traits Idea:

For DPS phantasm(its more pve):
Adept Inspiration Trait>Phantom Decive: Pantoms Are immune to AoE attacks(including Boos AOE, but still cleave works on them)

Why/ idea
Im sick of this that i spend 5s to summon phantoms then they die insta in 0,5s its not how a “3D curses” should work

Illusion Ttrait:

Grand Master>Phantom Master> You cast phantoms 50% faster, they do 50% more dmg, and attack 50% faster (Numbers can get more balance if need)

why/idea
Im rly miss strong phantom build, i think as GM Illusion is best place for it for every mode in game, its can be combined with Inspiration(Phantom Decive)/Dueling for strong Phantom dps, and make us free frome Mantra builds.

Inspiration Trait:
Grand Master Inspiration> Illussional Influence> clones, Phantoms on kill or shatter provide now Blast Finisher

why/idea
ITs counter part to strong phantom dps, and take an advantage for phantoms being easy to kill to provide team support

More PvP Chaos Trait

Adept or Grand Master Chaos> Blackout: Ethernal fields now have 50%chance to Daze their Targets

why/idea
I rly want a comeback of Interrupt Mesmer, as Adept it will work great with 6 Domination 4 Chaos 4 in anything else next good viable build.

Hello i unlocket 4k AP chest, pick up Short Bow, and used it on item, and its not displayed in AP panel anymore. All other waepons are viable to pick anytime i want, but shortbow after one use disappear. Im just notice it when i destroyed my weapon with skin, and wanted pick up it again frome panel.

Even alot of non shatter builds (not all though) use shatters. Sometimes you just want to get rid of some useless clones, you can trait for your shatters to give 5 seconds vigor and condition removal. The only thing you have to sacrifice are some clones, really.
Start the fight with some clones, shatter them one by one for party-wide vigor, then use phantasms and keep them there for damage. If the phantasms are about to get eaten by something you can also shatter them for vigor ^^.
Vigor recharges dodge energy twice as fast by the way.

Just remember dont kill PHANTOMS in Phantom builds!! they are superrior to us, 3x iWarlock/iWardens can do more dmg than 1kblades Warriors. For me each Warlock hit 10/15k each time, so its nice 45k dmg each time, while i can ress/focus on tank boss/place defence do whatever i kittening want and still do same dmg as other

Yeah, the store is an absolute joke in this game. Compare it to one like say the “Rift” store.

You can buy 3,250 credits in that game for 20 dollars. They have like 150 armor bundles for cosmetics that are mostly 850 credits each. Plus they have a loyalty system where you earn points for buying and spending credits in the store. You advance through the loyalty tiers to earn claimable rewards for supporting the game.

GW2 gives you a highly overpriced, small selection. A lot of the items they put in are limited time only to get you to buy right away. And if you’re lucky they might throw you a bone with some holographic pets or a kite, lol.

These guys seriously need to fix their store.

Yea its just bullkitten… but still… ppl buy it for some magick unknow reason.

I would prefer to buy this 2h weapons for 800, and 1h for 400 gems rather than buys RNG!!
As for me, i spend many money in LoL and Tera, not only bcos i wanted something, but also bcos i could support a Dev Team in that way. But as you pointed, in both Tera and LoL prices were “nice placed vs what you got”(you didnt fell kittened by dev team) Especialy in LoL after they add more currencies, other than "$ " and “E”. For me each item, each 800 gems, each 10E is worth 4x more than for my Eu brothers, if they said LEgendary is worh 1000$ for me its 4000$. So i need ware what to buy.

the point:
As for now. For me bough Krytan/Phoenix/Aether Armor for 800 gems are fine, and i goth them/will get every time cos price go well with reward, same go for Perf Transs Stones or BL Salvage kit i bought them cos price=item you got. All other things in shoop, are higly overrpriced to what you get, and thus i dont buy them, even if i have 10$ to spare i dont spend them in game.

Skins for armors and weapons for 400/800gems -yes
Pay for rngs-no

I just feel its TO defensive some times, not got the same kind of burst (imo) then the GS and cant stack bleeds the as quickly or easily as the GS (again imo) For a condition weapon, it just doesnt feel very condition-ary

GS dont have burst its sustained dmg, you have spike in shatter+Blurred and thats why every one run in PvP S/F or S/P and a STAFF. Its same goes in PVE. I put 3x warden/duelist/warlock they doo amazing dmg on its self, while i can either help others, focus on defense or just stay in melee and do 3x more dmg than GS weapon. You dont want DPS with range, until you are forced to it, and still its better to bring support for team. So others can focus 100% on dmg.
For Cof1 i change GS to Staff and its 10x better. Remember that even if we run 2x dmg weapon we still do less dmg tha nany other profession, so better bring huge utility (Phantom mesmers /30 inspiration) and still do great sustain dmg.

As for number:
GS aa do for me max 2.200dmg
Sword aa do 3.5k dmg
So its better to stay in melee than go range.

The Staff....

In all three aspects(PVE/ PVP/ W3) Staff wins vs GSword.

If i want a dmg, i go sword+any other off hand and shatter i dont need next weapon with dmg. Staff wins with support/clone/defense vs only Gs dmg. And still Chaos Armor is one of best buff in game, this random blind when thief use C&D… <3

With thief that have some brain, me and ele can hold 3 Fields all the time, and just Thief use 2 to active them, its perm immortal power. Also Chaos Storm is pretty kitten vs zergs/many moobs. Also with Phantom meta we dont lose too much dmg. Iwarlock scale heavy with power, i jsut love put 3 Iwarlocks tahth hit each 7s for 15k while i can focus on defensive, glamours and revive.

Dont ignore staff cos its dont have huge op dmg, remember you dont need to have 2 dmg weapons to be Pr0. Sometimes defensive is better than offence.

He was human God like all other gods. Humans Borns in Mist and come frome there, Via 5Gods. Why he did whathe did? simple… bcos of POWER he fall befor they kick his kitten to Realm of Torment. Remember if you cant win 1vs4, then you give power of Gods other races, they lost mind frome the great power. And fallowed by this Abbadon create his own Army “Margonits” with power almost queal to gods. And what Human Gods had? 3 Nations fighting each other… and King Doric…. i bet when Doric sacriface himself, and Gods Seal Bloodstones Margonits lost their Gods power, to power what we have now.

But question is, do Humans also fight in this fights or its was Abbadon and army of us vs rest of gods? we need this event to know what happen, and do Bloodstones=Godpower.

So ill try also

Traits
-Shatter Delusion (Dom Major Trait)- Mind Wrack remove any condition target have, and convert each one to 5%more dmg ( in short, mostly its 50% buff dmg to shatter, in PvP 2% dmg per cond)

-Ilusion of Pain (Grand Master Duelist)- When you take fatal dmg, you gain 3s distortion and heal yourself by 25%of max hp (90s cd) ( just more wtf suprise MF!!)

-Echoed Speed (Major Trait inspiration)- You and ally units run 10% faster, and additonal 5% for each ally near (max 30%,1000range) (As support we need sort of trait like that)

-Accumulated Pain( Domiantion Major trait or even Grand)- Whenever you place a condition, you also put additional bleed or Burn ( i want make Cond mesmer with staff a bit more viable)

-Spirit Shackles (Grand master Illusion) You transfer 30% of dmg you take to nearby clones or Phantoms

Manipulating:
-Blackout(45s cd) Daze you foe for 5s and apply torment< just cant ressist
-Backfire(30s Cd) for next 5s you redirect 50% of dmg to attacker<just wish

Glamour
Fragility(60s CD) Create a field of power for 20s that damages foe when they suffer frome condition, or get boon(Its like old one, its deal max 1.5k dmg every time foe take new condition or boon, a bit counter to champions that cure fast conditions, and some sweet for PvP)

-Panic(45s CD) Place a magick field that doubles Condition dmg ( in short for 10s we give others 100% more dmg frome bleeds/burn/poison

-Soothing Images (50s CD) Create A field for 10s, ally units gain Regeneration, Protection and Stability (Mesmer lack this soo much..)

Signets:
Signet of Lyssa(30S CD)
Out of Combat: move speed increased by 25%
In combat: Reduce Crowd Control effects by 25%
On use: Gain quickness(3s), remove all conditions and boons form yourself. (some kind out of combat ms, and usable effect in combat, and decent active)

Elite skills:
Ether Nighmare(90s CD): Summon a Great Phantom(30s) that have ours attributes and special attacks, depending what main Weapon we Hold.(every profession have selfish elite, mess need to!!)

Sword-Fast furius attacks that strip boons, and deal 10% dmg for each reamaining boon

Great Sword- Slower but dealing huge dmg attacks, and deal 1% more dmg for each 1% of missing enemy HP

Staff- Semi dmg but his attacks transfer condition form us, and change them with enemy boons. also deal 2x more dmg when this happen

Scepter- Apply confussion and bleed with attacks The more boons enemy have., then more stacks he will get.

Transformation
Phantom Lord(60s)- Change yourself into Master of all Phantoms(25s) in this form all attributes are boosted by 50% and additonal All phantoms have 50% lower cd, take 50% less dmg, and deal additional 50% of dmg
(Phantom builds need kinda this)
