After Jungling with both builds, Sinsiter fells much better. And is okeish in Dungs, an rly good in Fractals. And over that its very flexy.
Illusion+Chrono is must, but other options are open: buffer with Chaos and Bountifull trait, or Inspiration with healing or Reflects, or Even mantra healer with quickness on Shatter. Dueling for even more shatter power, or Domination for more dmg, plenty ways of playing.
Overal i think Sinsiter is very viable option to run. Especialy with Alcarity and quicknes, that help stack Confusion rly high in PvE, and Torment is great duo to every boss mostly run (I just fall in love in Mai…. perma 4k dmg every 1s is op op as she move all time! not to mention chrono with shield can tank her all day long <3)
thats why Sinister Shatter Chrono beat any bers Mesmer in PvE. Dmg frome phantasm is changed to shatter+conditions and support via alcarity/quickness.
Its fun how much Chrono increase dmg for whole party. Basicaly reaper/warrior/rev/gurd+chrono do same dmg as Icebow meta before nerf xd . In AC we killed every boss in <10s. Fractals are smooth. Also Chrono Sinsiter can trait 3rd lane for support or dmg and both of the ways are good, its either:
=perma quicknes/alcarity/might
=perma reflects/ high amount of alcarity/quickness
=Perma reflects/quickenss huge condi removal
As for PvE… Mesmer Sinister is all to go, it have decent dmg, strong support, its perfect _ Done quick AC/fract … Mesmer/Reaper/Revenant/Warrior/Guardian
-We had perma Might (all time 20stacks+ even out of combat)
-Perma fury
-Perma swiftness
-Perma Quickness
-hight uptime of Alcarity
And things just died, like before IB nerf x)
as for PVP
ITs kind of Madness
-Condi mesmer can put like 15stack of torment/Confussion : still its hard to get evverythink to hit, and its req aloot preparation/skill
-Power Shatter is go Big or Go home.
-shutdown is a thing
Overal Alcarity do things, its help survive, help do dmg etc.
Now more testing (still i dont find anything broken, or op atm that need insta nerf/actions)
Exciton but keep in mind, he fight Druids and other tanky/healing kitten… Druid basicaly heals 100k hp each time etc xD. Back to Mesmer as devs told… Alcarity will propably be a problem to balance. Its good in pve, but op at some point in pvp. Still… Scrapper hits like instant 7/8 k dmg….
Its not valid build atm. To do dmg mesmer req have 3phantoms up, and still its a bit far frome others dpsers. HoT and Chronmancer will bring Shattering to PvE and make Condi/dps (Sinsiter meta for Mesmer) a thing. Also Chronomance can be played in dmg/support/control role.
Chrono in can either HoT:
-high uptime= Quickenss, Alcarity, Might, Stability
-High uptime= Reflect,quickness,Alcarity, CC
-high uptaim=Cleanse/bit aoe heals, Quickenss, Alcarity
I think ppl pick shiro bcos:
-its funny to play
-its amazing in battle
-its hard to play= ppl have more joy to play this
-you have more fun playing it, quote frome Phantaram " is suuch funny to play; Its Amazing how much fun i had playing it"
ITs not about chase, its bcos of free stunbreak, free tp trough walls/objects, quickness stomps, and ultimate that can change battle. How many time i just tp trough walls and interrupt with sword 5 stomp, then gather energy for Jadewind /freeress… Its amazing melee combat. Also only overload of conditions can make shiro/Glint out of game.
things works:
-interrupt skill cast aniamtion
-Blind
-Conditions tick while it
-Stealth make it stop
-Shock Aura also stop it
-Fire Aura make stack you tons of bruning on rev
-Also boons help, like retalation/protection
i think this skill is fine, Rev dont have to much dmg in other abilites (ok beside staff 5) so its all about #3
Second, dont let Rev set up #3, if he will have fury/25might and you will have 25% vulnd, a sword #3 will do like 10k dmg+ to cloth/leather users… do NOT LET SET UP IT!!!
Shield is op in PVP, and will have uses in PvE, like Mai in Fract, you want these free -2deviance every 15s? also blcok helps aloot there. There are plenty other palces when Shield is good, like AC trash mobs, Pull mobs with Focus, then stun them twice. Also its great for getting free 2×3 sahtters if pulled right.
The only change i rly want to see, is Slow working trough bar, and better apply of Alcarity.
Other way i think Shield is in fine spot compared to others professions.
Assult seems fine, but bugged, it hell using it on Hammer or map where is alot of obscales. I got multiple time stucked on them…. And.. mby its annynoing to fight ranger or minion master necro, but its help vs Mesmer clones x)
All i want is Phantom Lord, The master of 3D hexes, focusing on Illusion, and clones

Minor Adept>Phantom Lord (You can now summon 3 clones and 3 phantoms. Gain acces to Channeling Skills,
Major Adept> Shattered image (When Illusion Dies they explode dealing AOE dmg)
Gm Adept> Phantasma (Phantoms alwasy attack every 4s)

Channeling skill.. i do like this, to be similar to gw1 things, its give you passive things if things happens to you, or around you.
Healing: Channeling ( You get heal everytime som1 is ussing a skill [1s icd) Active: Gain Health for every enemy or ally)
Utility: Fevered Dreams (Copy 2 conditions frome yourself to Nearby enemy every 5s, Active: Copy All conditions to Enemy, gain Resistane fo 10s)
Utility: Emphaty ( Redirect 2% of taken dmg to attacker, Active: Reduce incoming dmg by 20%)
Utility: Migrain ( Apply Slow(2s) to attacker [1s icd], Active: Next Attack on you will be interrupted and will be disabled for 15s) [ This do not active on AA skills, but work on all others, like thiefs HS]
Elite: Ether Lord ( Change yourself to Phantom, gaining additional stats, health Regen and immunity to conditions. Phantom you cast are twice stronger.
ofc is more of dream, it would be to op to handle xD

Mind Wrack: Now figure as Blast Finisher per illusion (also Persona work as one)
Cry of Frustration: apply Cripple and Slow to enemy
Diversion: Aoe interrupt, apply Alcarity(3s) to nearby allies
Distortion: Apply to Nearby allies, reflect Projectales
This little changes (not even dmg wise) could make play of Mesmer interesting. Traited Blast finisher is great, if you want it, you take it, but you NEED sacriface other things. This could open new builds for Mesmer. Cripple and slow will be very usefull, as AoE interrupt and Alcarity to ally. And Distortion will bring cool utility that no1 else can do.
I still dont know why shatters dont provide blast finisher… for Lyssa… they EXPLODE.. they screams fo this, even via traits… or at last Mind Wrack should support 1 blast per illusion.
Got same problem since 1 month or 2… cant do fractals… fun fact… on PBE slots i could easy join in to fractals. I think Anet screw somth…
omg this make Mesmer next lvl God… and prob yea, Mesmer will be best user of it.. but kitten.. you can also make crazy summoning things to output 2×3 illusion rotation in 9s… we have actualy double dmg that we had. It was a 7k in 10s? right? So now its 14k…. or more.. bcos we can now shatter twice, and do it faster than ever…
Try Dom/Illusion/Chrono. Take Persistence of Memory and Chronophantasma. It makes for some incredibly engaging game play regardless of weapons. Simply summon 3 phants shatter them twice and enjoy your alacrity, and massive reduction to your phat cooldowns.

take note that you can change support Traits as you need, its open up to player.
Its tricky build, and you need timing clones/dodges with phantoms and shatters.
Overal Wells>Mantras no doubt in it. You waste tons of time preparing mantras with no real profit… with Alcarity, Quickness you can dish out amazing dmg, duo to Shatter being viable in PvE. Ofc wells are situational, like other skill.
Also dont ignore alcarity 1s Alcarity make all others skill cd 0.4s instead 1s. Sadly its hard to give others more than 3s lower cds, but mesmer can have it like 80% of the time…
Profit is huge, you basicaly :
Summon clones>shatter them>cast Phantoms> Phantoms end roatiotn>shatter them>summon Clones>shatter>Phantom roatiotn>shatter
or
summon clones>F5>Time Wrap>Well of Recall> Iwarden>Ehter signet>Iwarde>F5 ends so oyu cna summ I warden>Shatter: this will reset Iwardens so they will start again rotation when they done shatter= tons of dmg

I’d like to provide a little context for this discussion as I think it’s important to understand what led us to change this skill in the first place. I’m going to avoid talking about my personal opinion here as I’d like all the feedback from this BWE to be as unbiased as possible.
We discovered pretty early in testing the following problems with the first version:
- Stun breaks were pretty much useless against this unless they also gave stability because the pulls were so close together that you still couldn’t escape. The pulls were also so close together that you couldn’t even dodge roll between them if you got caught by one of them.
- The full duration of the disable ended up being around 5 seconds total, which might be okay for a single target skill, but was pretty out of line for a skill that could hit 5 targets.
- The skill had a lot of different things going on and was difficult to parse for those who saw it for the first time.
The first two factors in combination created a very oppressive skill which had a very limited number of response options. The third issue wasn’t as important as the first two, but was indicative of the skill being overly-complex and needing some simplification.
I hope that helps. I’m looking forward to reading your feedback on the Chronomancer from the BWE!
Im with Robert at this, old Gravity would made Mesmer, as old Rampage did with Warriors… Iwin button Not to mention we can use it twice…
Its far better now, if you proper setup Gravity(like Gravity+Tides), its game changing, its not easy, but its Mesmer, dont mention to be easy.
Only twist i would add its either:
-Make Float 3s
-Add real meaning to gravity, and make ppl in well move 50% slower
-Add Slow per puls
Dmg wise i think its okey, with bers and might it can make out 6/7k AoE dmg overal
Wells… as i fell.. they all nedd 3/4 cast time or even 1/2,
As for Gravity Well:
a) Pull enemy after 1.5s then float at 3
b) Each pull apply slow (2s) and Chill (2s)
Ofc we can setup well… cast Well and fallow with stun on daze, or Shield 5 to make enemy stunlocked for 4/5s… Actualy with f5 Mesmer can CC som1 for nice amount of time….
Doubled Chaos storm, wall, Gravity, Mantra, and CoF…. tons of interrupts… and i mean TONS (we just kitten Necro in 6s daze/stun xd)
In short few words:
PvE:
Mesmer is huuuge… Shatter/Phantom is amazing, great AoE, Great single target, great utility and support.
-shatter is viable, its snowball hard in terms support and dmg: The more you shatter, then more cd, then more dmg, then more shatter you got

Main thing in boses is abuse f5, order to cast:
sword 3> dodge> dodge>f5>Iwarden>SoE>Iwarden>Time Wrap>BF and if you are quick> Well of xxxx>return all skills>shatter
Points: Snowball efect, During full boss fight always is shatter, always is Phantom dmg, and perma Alcarity/Quickenss, other than that, you can just shatter phantom after they done with rotation, and you can summon them again.
Playstale is rly similar to Gw1 mesmer, you could put hexes on target and shatter them for combo.
Jus one think i would add its ride off of GM Mental Defense, and add new GM trait:
Mental Inspiration:
shattering illusion give Quickness(1s) and Aclarity (0.5s) to nearby 2 ally

Still ppl forget few things:
I think Anet should go with Ritualist style of Gw1. So You actualy summon Legends via Weapons, and seal them in, rather than just use their raw power. In the end legend choices will be in Weapons set, rather than a purely skill.
Wielding Dual blades and Hammer will make you use Shiro and Jalis Legends, Dual swords and Staff will let you use Shiro and Ventari etc. Its will bring more choices and more build diversity.
Or offhand Sword and Shadow Warrior spec… Basing on Stances
f2 Ability:
Shadow Escape: Teleport away frome foe( and forlimited time, its open f3 and f4 ability:
f3>Shadow Neutrality; Heal yourself while moving end when you attack or get hit by direct attack
f4>Unseen Treat: Gain 15s of Stealth (cannot be stacked) end if you take or deal dmg. next attack will work as flanked
Elite:
Shadow Blitzz-change yourself into shadow, and strike your foe repeatedly (can hit multiple foes)
-hits 5x over 3s
-Always hits( its unblockable, go trough evades, imunes etc)
- can crits
- immune for dmg, conditions under assult
Pure Finisher skill with resonable CD like 120cd,
Some utility:
Shadow Armor(stance): for 10s gain Protection and Ressistance (40cd) also remove 3 conditions
Critical Eye(stance): Gain Fury(15s) Quickens (5s), Critical strikes now deal 3x more damage for 10s (60cd)
Shadow Remedy (stance) for 10s skills remove 1 condition, and heal if any was removed (1icd)(45cd)
Trait
-Minor:
adept) Shadow Warrior- unlock offhand sword, stances and trait
Master) Shattering Assult- Critical hits have 50% chance to remove Boon ( icd)
GMaster) Way of The Shadow Warrior- Reduce cost of abilites by 1 initiative
Adepts:
1) Viper Defense – when health drops below 25% teleport away frome target, cripling (5s) them and apply poison(10s)
2) Master of Attack- critical strikes return 1 initiative (3s icd)
3) Unseen Fury-All attacks frome stealth works now as Flanking
Master:
1) Stance Master: Reduce Stance coldowns by 20% and increase their duration by 25%
2) Blind fury: After being blinded gain Critical Eye stance
3) Contagion Shadows: Critical hits have 33% chance to transfer 1 condition (1icd)
Gmaster:
1) Shadow freenzy: Killing enemy reset Shadow Blitzz coldown by 5s, attack additional 1 time
2) Shadow Impale: Striking a foe that is below the health threshold(50% knockdwon them.
3) Shadow Prison: Steal now Teleport enemy to you, and immobilaze them(3s).
Cos ppl thing Mesmer is FOTM cos of OP, but it not, its anynnoing profession with different style than others.
Its funny how broken mesmer is in HotJoins/unranked and totaly not picked in TPvP!!
With everythink i read about all QQ, crys, laments about Mesmers.. they should be insta picked in Turneys.. but gues what! they are not!!!
Warriors with Eles and broken to the bone, and yet ppl complain about Mesmer…
Mesmer just dominate new players, or players that suck at PvP. Beside playing main on Mesmer i play also Thief and Ele, and i dont have any problems to deal with Mesmers, esp FOTM Mesmers how thing they can faceroll keybord to be effective.
Game have great balance to things like what to pick. In pugs dosnt matter what proff you run, as long as you know what are you doing. With my guild we done Dungs as:
-Mesmer
-Guardian
-thief
-Ranger
-Necro
We done runs faster than with any pug – Guard/warr/2x ele/thief
Meta should be done only by Guilds, or with friends that can use 100% of this, other way its not better/faster than others comps.
Its hard to tell if its better or worst. ITs for Sure different, how i see it atm:
Shatter is great on low lvl dungeons/clearing trash, in most low lvl dungs Bosses dont live more than 10/12s. So you basivaly summon 3 phantoms, they will be able to rotate max of 2 attacks, then you can shatter them for nice amount of dmg. Still testing Phantoms>shatter>phantoms rotation on longer fights.
Honesty.. i met more Eles and WArriors with Guardians.. than Mesmers/Engis.
Its mostyl bcos of Turnaments on ELS and go4.. Every tem have at last 2 ele or 2 warriors with 1 support class, either healing (lol) Guard, Mesmer as shutdown, or Necro as Life Sliphon wells omg AOE sliphons/dmg, ot thief for Roaming.
I love how ppl QQ about Mesmer adn engi while Mesmer is just Mesmer, engi is bugged.. while Warrior with Eles reck everyone…
PU is great to restart fight, and runoff, its same as thief. I lately run off with CI instad PU, belive me CI>PU. If i interupt target, upon on daze i will also immo target for 2s, so even if they use CC break they cant move at all and die in 2s.
PU is not problem, deal with it. Nerfing will change nothink, and only gimb “more ways to play”
Only broken things is Might stack on Mesmer, and how they easy can get 25.
- its like 8s of Auto attack on Gs to get 25 might(this i prefer than Power Lock)
- CI/Chaotic need interrupt like 5 skills to get 25 might one good chaos storm, and next interrupts with pistol/Mantra will deal AoEs interrupts for 6k
-Same go for shatter, not traited with no might/vuln its hit 4x 2 up to 3k (so its 12k at max, it was the same before patch) And with trat buff its can go over even 17k overall this got changed and deal 4k more dmg than pre-patch.
Same go for Stun on daze.. Belive me is far more better to take 15% more dmg on Phantoms, Bers with 30% can deal insaine dmg with 25 might and 30% more dmg.
inb4 ppl Start use Duel/Dom/Inspiration with phantom dmg and Pahntom Def on evade/block, and the new QQ train will come.
Its just annynoing when you are in pair with others, and bcos of that they want you get nerfed… cos they cant dominate you into oblivion like they used to be. I played Lock down before patch to see diference. And it is, you pay now price for spaming brainless and my itnerrupts can kill you. IF ppl are not aware of that… its not balance issue, its skill issue.
Time changes and ppl should to.
this is just a vague and short list of things i think need to be looked at
mesmer:
blinding dissipation is going through evades. shouldn’t have to say why this is an issue. confounding suggestions/power lock is problematic. (imo power lock needs a “loaded” duration similar to basilisk venom, but much shorter. this would reemphasize the main balancing mechanic of mantras, their vulnerable precasting stage, since you buffed mantras to cooldown while precasted…). mind wrack is somewhat too strong.
Note on Power Lock first look how it works and why its strong:
- base dmg is 860
~1k heavy armor hits up to 2.500 crit
~1.800 cloth hits up to 3.200 crit
Now Add 25% vuln (32% dmg for MEsmers) adn 25 might and Perm fury on target <75%hp
-up to 4.5k crits on heavy
-up to 6k crits on cloth
Power Lock work as intended, you punish ppl for smashing keys, like Thiefs HS and Eles Auto Attack, Belive me if you meet ppl how think, and know what they are doing IC/PL is out of game in 1n1 situation. You need chains of interupts to deal dmg, ofc there are situation like killing som1 with 4x Diversion=4x 3k up to 4k its in most situation solid 10/14k while mostly squishes have 10 or 11khp, but yeah you need interrupt Action, not one, or 2 but 5 or even 6 times, compare to Warrior how just charge, whirl and will do also 10k dmg in 5s is not so op. With some rng it can be devastate, but like Chaos its works fine with rng logick.
Im fine with rest.

For Mind wrack… its jsut dmg buff and new traits, before patch we could deal 12/14k MW, now we do 13/16k MW with Mental Anguish.
25 might 32% dmg frome Vuln + 30% mentaladditional stats overal =insine dmg ( comapred to old mesmer we have like 20might more and 17% dmg frome traits, and sats are not linked to specs.
If we put everythink togheter we can see how much they improved Mesmer with simply changes to game and useful traits that work togheter.

Reminder that these nerfs were given priority over the engineer grenadier bug that is giving you a literal one shot skill on a 30 sec cd.

I played without Dom/Chaos. I pick up Illusion/Dueling/Inspiration and guess what? i did same thing as i did with “meta” dom/chaos/Dueling. I didnt had any problems to fight and 1shoot ppl. Be more i had better healing and cond removal so i had much better defense(ok mby lack of this stun on daze make it a bit harder to land nuke but still its just ad additional way to play). 6s Stealth is good when you want re enter fight, or when you losing fight to run of. Mesmer will not w8 6s or10 even 40s in fight, when he can kill you… other way he will let you regain CD and vigor, and its not best idea.
Its not PU or Stun on daze that make mesmer op. Its overal buff to dmg in game make things broken.
Atm Mesmer shatter nuke is same as Thiefs, ppl QQ about thiefs… but i play with many Dragons thiefs ( ya i know its not always best show of skill) but they dont have problem to jump on me and basicaly 1 or 2 shoot me in 1s, even if i can do the same(esp. when im not prepared for them ie. they are invi, same as mesmer).
Also Aoe frome shatter is nothink more or less than Guardian or Warrior Aoes whiping 2/3 ppl in 3s. I saw many time how Guardian jumps on 3 ppl and insta kill them.
Condition? Anet instantly nerf them on Mesmer, esp Tormetn bcos 6k ticks on moving target is op, while its 2 weeks of Trappers Ranger insta killing 5ppl at point duo to conditions overdrive, Eles and Gurds stacking 6k Burning ticks every second… And Thief Stacking very long bleeds, poison and not so few Torments,
Now back to Engi bugs on granades. Mesmer get day by day nerfs and no fixs.
And even more!! When Mesmer had insine bug that was abused it get Fixed Asap in 24h!!! And Engis jsut massivly run Granade for 2 days? and propably we will see them even more, and in long turn.

I think They dont know what to do with this kitteny things they made, so they try put attention on something els, like Lets Nerf Mesmer so ppl will be quiet, and they will dont se how we kittened up game.
In PVP Dueling/Ispiration+chaos or Illusionis solid way and can be played as support with Cele in TF with mantra of Recovery, Mantra of Distr, Decoy and/or blink/nullfield and Staff as core + weapon of choice works with strategy. Badly think is that… Anet Overnerf Prism… it WAs only broken with Necromancer Aura.. but yeah, its seems easier to nerf a Solid trait in Mesmer, than just change Aura to not working with Prism. They actualy blocked their core idea to give more options to play the game.
TBH I played today few shatter without Dom/Chaos but with Inspiration/illusion/Duelist and dear God ,i wreck ppl same as i made with Dom/Chaos lane. Its just sometime harder to nuke som1 at first glance bcos no stun on daze, but 8s later whey will die any way. Also 3s or 6s of stealth dosnt matter if mesmer wants go for kill, he will go after 3 or 4s not more (keep in mind the more Mesmer w8 then more skills cd/vigor enemy will regen) this 6s is good to leave fight you cannot win, or supprise som1 that didnt saw you coming (same as thief do)
Im now on 99.9% sure that its overal thinkin that mesmer do nothink more than clones, and are on last place in food chain… and thats why ppl fail and QQ on forum. They need stop ignoring fact that Mesmer are in pair with others, but in different way.
Shatter Mesmer is nothink more, or less than Thief Stabing for 16k, Guardian Comboed 3ppl for 16k, or Engi killing ppl with 3 granades. And condi/CI/PB Mesmer is no near Trapper Ranger that kills whole party in ~3s, Ele with Guard stacking 5k burning ticks or Cond thief that stack insine loong bleed/poison/ with tons of torments. OVr that Mesmer still need do more than other profession (faceroll) to have same effects.
So please stop looking at Mesmer as broken class, while Mesmer is in pair with others.

Chaos line is soo much bad if it come to take choices.. every trait is good, and its pain to pass one over other… All Traits should works like this. You have 3 options, and you decide what to pick, not when you have choice bad vs good. ad left with only 1 option. Almost all mesmer GM are now like real Grand Master and are worth picking.
Dunno i Never played cond Mess until today… i played like 10 games… and just destroyed 80% of players, and done tons of dmg, utility in tema fights… i dont think Mtd need chanages, For me it is almost in perfect state compared to broken Trapers and Burning spammers.
To make things different… also we have now 37% more dmg on 25stack vuln target (one of 3 reasons why Mesmer dmg skyrocket.
Overall, staff is a good defensive weapon, not a great offensive one.
Yea specialy on bers gear when Warlock hits now for 20k very 8s (6s traited) and on condi With Image permament stacking
burn… or in PvP where Power Lock will deal 6k dmg every person trying using a skill… yeap not great offensive one… :P
Every weapon have now kittene.. wtb Build templ save… its anynoing to change every few min a build/weapons…

What did you expect? People who never had to worry about mesmers before have to actually learn how to fight them because they are suddenly even more dangerous.

Pppl tends to think mesmer is easy kill, or he will struggle and they can kill them anyway..and suddenly supprise!! they actualy can kill you in matter of second if you suck balls at PVP and roll face over keyboard,a s i watched few pros in PVP its seems they dont have problems with Mesmers… beside too long PU, and we can all aggre, this skill need change to 50/70% or remake to not be OP with Shatter builds, but fine with other specs. Power Block nerf was also needed, 8/9k AOE Locks was absurds in TF as Ranger traps are killing 5 ppl in matter of 3s…
Its Seems that Any Traits works fine, as long as you use them proper. Dont go for Projects where its no needed, dont go Phantom dps wehere is many AoE, Dont Go heavy mantra dmg modifer when combat is fast(you will not be able to get full proc of it), Shatter IS an VIABLE OPTION, Mix of Cond/dmg/crit works fine as Bers duo to Conf buff and op Bleed stack (hi Iwarden)
Seems that strong build will be Utility Phantom 2 rotations, shatter Them, and summon again if there is time, Duo to -2s cd whenever you destroy 1 phantom

As weapons go either:
Sword/Pistol, Focus & Scepter/Pistol,Focus
As for stats Sinister or Bers should work fine, as Sigils Force & Bleed duration
WE can also go full Sinister “Condition” with Staff and Scepter/Torch its able to stack nice amount of burning/bleed/confussion Still testing it. Also Scepter #3 is Aoe skill that works great on trash mobs.
Dont get me wrong, but Thiefs Still 1shot us, as long as they know what they doing… and this trait not help us as much as ppl thought it will be… If we shatter Thief in 99% situation will be dead any way, in any other we are downed and this is not helping.
Also CI is broken a bit in TF cos of mass interrupt and 25% mights with 37% dmg frome vuln, Chaos Storm can do insine AoE dmg. In 1n1 situation its just fun and massively rng to chain of rupts. But after nerf i dont see numbers higher than 6k ( i saw 7/8) Mostly its hits for 5k and i think its fine number.
As for PU…. i think they should lower Time to 50% or change trait to promote defensive use not Assassin one why?
Shatter PU its broken to nuke/hide/nuke, but in Cond/PU its way to play as of low pressure we have, this skill will be for sure hard to balance.
VieuxP +100000 on this… its just.. other profession tends to not thinking, ans smash things… comapre to mesmers hard life.. we learn the harder way… thats why we now crush any1. We have far more skill cos of this “Adaptality” wahtever they toss/nerf at us.

Shatter combo on 11k hp target or 3x Power block to deal 15k dmg?
Its stupid call thing liek other can do. Thiev can 2 shoot me, but when i can 3 shoot him with itnerupts, cos HS is easy to itnerupt its unfair balance… i rly tired of commnity in this game…
I called it… 24h to nerfbat, while others just 12345 on keyboard and delete others… if other do this… its fine, but Mesmer?? hell no!
If Thiefs 2 shoot me its fin ,but when i interupt him 4x and kill him in that way.. it totaly op, and need nefred asap11!1oneoen bcos hitting f1+1+2 is muuuch harder than actualy itnerrupt his dagger #2….

Mirror Reflect seems dont work as should, I just Redirect Ranger #2lb and he didnt get any dmg (its dont showed any number) but his runes worked, cos he got hited by Fire/Air
Also Short Bow conditions apply trough Mirror, funny is that its reflect them also on ranger
Why they do soo much dmg?
They add Grand MAster trait that pump shatter dmg by 30% if enemy dont use skill (note they nerf it frome 50%) additional Mesmer got Trait that make 1 stack of Vuln increase dmg by 1.5% not 1% like others… and ofc Perma fury on target with less hp than 75% .
Vs CI/Lockdown
Also Care of Power Lock with CI Builds, they tends to fast build up 25might on mesmer, and 25% vuln on you.. if you have 75% hp and mesmer will chain Diversion on you.. each Interrupt will deal 5k for max 6k dmg ( they nerf it now and its no more 7k+ dmg). Also every 5s 1st daze they use will stun you for 1.5s
Try to not get chain interrupted or you will doomed in 3 skills usage
in other words.. CARE WHAT you do, dont spam mindless!!
PU/Shatters
PU is totally bs atm with such long invis, but you are Ele, try AoE/sweep around, mesmers are not tanks, they eat dmg if you hit them. Also keep in mind 99% mesmer use this cloaked time, try countdown 5s then dodge to avoid spike, or stick in Earth with Dimond skin.
MEsmer is high bcos after 2y traits works togheter…
-we got Perma fury
-we got access to easy tack up 25might
-Access to 25 Vuln
-And trait that make 25% vuln dmg 37% dmg
Thats why Mesmer dmg fell huge ie:
Halting strike is 900dmg
But after few rupts its will crit for 6/7k dmg

The only Thing to nerf is PU with passive boons, and CS as long range insta stun on demand that let you do pistol>ileap combo too easy.

What the point of having different profession, when every one can do same kitten? I love how they adress problems that Mesmer and Necro, in different way, other than give them: might stack,fury, dmg buff. We DONT NEED next AFK profession like Staff Ele that can do ToonS of DmG and stack infinity might/fury
Also do some ppl Even consider how Chrono Quickens/Alcarity will bost Reaper dmg to oblivion?

My story:
I tends play more CI lately bcos Shatter is a bit boring, but yea. Had a game when phoenix Thief un my team flamed me for my CI build xd (ofc i had top stats, and i done daily in one shoot) most terms used: no dmg, silly defense cos i run pistol. Now fun part, i next game we met on other sides… and i just wreck him in Team Fights, and in 4x 1n1 i win 3 times… i pm him few times, but he didnt reply to me.
In SoloQ CI is as good kittenter, and sometimes even better duo to chaos Storm and AoE interrpts with immobile.
Also for ME, Mantra of Distr is far better in SOLOQ than portal/ill of life/whatever else. Ability to stop rezz/stomp/heal is too good. After arrival of Hots/pre hots patch this build will be stupidly op in soloq, and mby viable in turnaments.
Traps look good on paper… but they have no place in PVP, There is no way guardians will sacriface defense in utility, as there is no way Mesmers will pass Decoy/Blink and 1 mantra, lockdown or cleanse for Wells in PvP. Weapons and Traits provide enough dmg in PVP, we dont need next skillbar of dmg.
And yea Chrono looks superrior in any aspect to Dragonborns…ekhm im mean Dragonhunters.
And yea Mesmer will have place in Party via perm Quickness and option of buffing others with Alcarity. 1 Mesmer can basicaly double party dmg in long term. show me other class that can multiple soo much dmg of 4 other ppls.
Not sure why, but kittenterer with s/x(mostly Torch) and Gs i had like 30% win raito, after i change to CI (4/4/6) as S/P+Staff with bers amulet i just wreck ppl… But i think its bcos ppl are not prepared for interupt build taht punish so hard spaming skills ( like som1 using 3 skills in Chaos Storm and eating 6k dmg in 2s)
Also overal Builds as CI is great in terms of Defense/attack.
I Fear that with 6/6/6 pre Hot Interrup build will be strongly op and ppl will QQ ;/

Keep in mind that we dont have use shield to use everythink others.
Picking Chrono traits line give you:
-new weapon to chose
-new skill
-propably block few other gamebraking skills (moa/Sign of illusions)
But yea as Chrono you can run pistol/staff and stun/daze all day long(both have CD refresh on skills, dont mention we have f5 x)
