I’ve not seen any guild wars action and its over a year launch. I think its time to reassess the overall reviews of this game.
The game is meant to be a Grind War 2 not guild wars.
Guild Wars is in reference to a historical War in the Tyria’s lore. Nothing to do with player guilds vs Player guilds. The Guild Wars ended when the Char invaded Ascalon

The game was called Guild Wars because Guild vs Guild combat was a main attraction regarding the game. The Guild Wars had very little to do with the game except as a setup for the charr to invade and whatnot, but not enough influence to name the game after.
The name of the game was absolutely based on the intention of the content.
Official wiki says you are wrong. The campaign was also the main attraction regarding the game. Heck, the GvG didn’t change all that much throughout all the different “Expansions” as compared to the PVE.
eisberg, you are definitely wrong apparently either you have played gw legacy and never followed the lore, played the game completely blindly, or have never played at all and just read the wiki content. Unfortunately, wiki didn’t say much as if people who wrote or rewrote its contents may not have detailed information about the legacy game. But as you can see from the wiki says, In present day, the Third Guild War is often referred to as the Guild War. Which means the war isn’t over as long as there are opposing factions which are still around even up until the release of EOTN.
There’s too many dailies in this game its not even funny anymore. I still can’t believe why they didn’t use the Balthazar’s Points as the general concept of rewards systems.

Guild Halls as in GW1 would suit me fine, but using our home instance would work, as well.
That wouldn’t work to well since everyone in the guild aren’t the same.
They did fix this issue where everyone weren’t able to join the host dungeon map because the rest of the party were from different world. I’m sure this can be done of their part but not sure how complex it can be. AoC had their guild keep/battle keep messed up until several years later from its launched.
The thread about the volcanic shaman issues is from 11 hours ago, TAkitten5 days ago, and they are both on TOP of the main page, meaning that you were too lazy to even barely look at ANY of the thread titles on the main page before doing what all the egotistic players do, come on this forum to vent their frustration then leave once they’re done venting about the one issue they felt like bringing up. Like legion of others it’s not about refreshing the page every 5 seconds, instead, you’re just filled with laziness and thought that you were some sort of shiny diamond that deserved his own thread on the main page without a care in the world as to whether there were any on going discussion or not about the same topics.
If you can’t spare 30 seconds to read the main page titles I don’t see why any of us should hold any sort of conversation with you except for telling you to go away. You even implied that giving some sort of thought before kittenting your own thread onto this forum is being a no life.
Anyways, I’m sensing someone trying to be somebody here. There are plenty of redundant post and they’ll be plenty more as long as there is a live game and forum. Now if you can’t deal with that stay the heck away from it instead of insulting people all the time. Because in the end you cant avoid redundancy and only of doing right is having the right people in the right attitude. Maybe this forum needs a solid moderator as opposed to having people fight over paragraphs.

I don’t sit in front of the computer 24/7 and refresh every 5 seconds to read each post. And then maybe say anything against it because I’m so good at life. You think you are even polite when that post literally occurred less than a minute after the report was submitted? Think again
Shoo, shoo, go away, if you can’t be bothered with reading the title of the 5 first posts on the forum before starting a thread why should we care about yours. This isn’t even about the search function, just friggin look at the main page for god’s sake. Don’t expect polite treatment when you’re not giving it to the rest of the forumers here since, like many others, you just came here to vent about the one particular issue and are probably going to leave right after this thread.

It is sad that we have to use a broken ridiculously overbuffed set up to deal with this equally broken encounter but until anet fixes it it is the only way for us get the rewards we deserve.

these post are obsolete… i’m talking about recent patches. run it yourself if you need to understand
why would you troll over a post that failed during a first submit it was obviously an accident when i change the title header and use the enter key by accident.
Arenanet, pls stop breaking what seems to be working and just concentrate on other unlocked content.
First of all you made several dungeons to be insanely stupid to even run. First in the Volcanic Fractals, after you clear out the trash grawls in the beginning you added a boulders cutscene which repeatedly play not unless the entire party gets to the boss room and it can be frustrating when there are dead people between the beginning and the next room. Secondly, veteran grawls spawn right on top another veteran regardless if near the prisoners as if one summoned another.
Another dungeon I believed to be a problem for progression is TA F/U or P3 where the spiders just hit so much and can literally immobilize the entire team in addition to the nightmare tree attacks the entire team could wipe out under 3 seconds. Although, there’s another way of exploiting the boss with just a ranger and guardian combo and not aggro anything but the tree.
