To top it off, quickening thirst is bugged and it does give the entire 25% bonus to mainhand dagger.
They took a look at signet of the locust but they didn’t bother fixing “Healing is reduced when traited with Bloodthirst” bug. Who am I kidding? All they did was change a variable from 10 to 25.
Oh well. Guess it’s time to find a new mmo.
Levian.6742I’m pretty curious myself. When I’m downed, everything is on cooldown. If I’m lucky #2 comes off cooldown and I can just manage to hit it before I die. I think I’ve used downstate #3 twice out of 50 or so sPvP matches
Deathshroud and downed state fear are on shared cooldown I believe.
It’s the wvwvw bonuses being active now.
Kittens, harmless kittens everywhere.

I play necro to master DS and become OP when I do.
AFAIK it’s the sigil that is bugged.
alanis.6094They should give us the option of doing our bleed damage from a farther distance that it would take for those other classes burst damage. Oh wait…
>>implying other classes only do burst damage at point blank
>>implying 900 range keeps necromancers safe
>>implying thieves are fine
Aexrael.5918Time To Live in W3 engagements is so short that anything outside of burst damage is largely irrelevant. By the time you get around to stacking a few bleed stacks on a target, it will have been dropped to the floor by all the AoE flying around.
This. A conditionmancer has a ramp up time (stacking bleeds). By the time you begin doing damage that other classes do from time zero, your target is either already dead or performing a stomp on you.
Weather this happens in 1v1 or zerg vs zerg is irrelevant.
100+ members, 20 online 24/7, I’m the only active necromancer. One of my guildies rolled a necro alt only to troll the guildmaster who can’t stand the buzzing sound of the locust swarm.
Seriously? Accolytes aggro from half the map. They’re even worse underwater. No other mob type hates players so much. Y U HATE ME SO MUCH ACCOLYTES?! QQ.
You can stack rune sets which grant 20% increase in swiftness duration.
I’m too lazy to look up the set names but you can get your (traited) spectral walk swiftness duration to be equal to skills cooldown this way. Heck, you can even have it on autocast.
In soviet Russia, the minions master you.
Earth does have a cooldown. 2 seconds.
[HWOOOOOSH] [HWOOOOOSH] Can’t hear you over the sound of how awesome staff is! [HWOOOOOSH] [HWOOOOOSH] [HWOOOOOSH]
Talking about Fractals boss here. The one you pour molten metal on to make it superheated and thus vulnerable to damage.
I spoke to my ranger friend today and discovered she does close to 40.000 damage to it with a single channeled ability on her longbow.
I play a necromancer and my scepter number 1 ability crits it for 2500 and leaves an 8 second bleed that ticks for 117.
Does anyone else see a problem with this? I used ranger as an example to demonstrate just how pathetic condition necromancers damage output is on this boss. You could substitute ranger with any power based class and you’d get equally disheartening numbers to compare with.
I feel this discrepancy in damage output makes a condition based class a liability in that particular fractal. I would like to see conditions get a proportional damage increase on this particular boss. Maybe then I wouldn’t feel like a complete weight on the rest of my party.
Scepter bleed is duration capped at 13 seconds.
^wiki is wrong. Test it yourself, go to heart of the mists.
As per title. Give us the option to report bots standing in a pile.
Absolutely agreed with OP.
It’s probably the only trait in the game that works against you if you take it.
I’d rather have nothing in that trait slot.
- Condition duration is always rounded down to full seconds.
- Scepter bleeds cap out in duration at 13 seconds.
- Using 2x Krait, Afflicted and Centaur saves you the trouble of dipping into Spite.
- Longer Condition duration allows for heavy bleed stacking.
- Duration stacking outputs more damage per second than stacking condition damage attribute.
- Superior sigil of Corruption adds up to 250 condition damage increase if you apply it to your staff. Applying it to one hand weapons halves it’s potency!
NixZero.7540dont forget that with more crits you get more bleeds (barbed precision), so precision is a highly suggested stat for condition builds (even if your bleed ticks wont crit the basic attack from the skill you are using to cast them will)
Barbed precision base duration is one second. You would benefit most from critical chance stat by using Superior Sigil of Earth.
@OP: you could always try using Superior Sigil of Corruption, that’s +250 condition damage right there, provided you don’t get downed.
^ This. I wanted to push him off the ledge so many times!
Vzur.7123I know we’re supposed to be black-hearted deathmongers, but I can’t help but feel bad at all the hapless wildlife I’ve slaughtered, as it is.
If small things were meant to live, they’d have bigger teeth or faster feet.
5% of your condition damage attribute is used for calculating bleeds damage.
You can see other coefficients here: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Condition_Damage
Somebody left their character dancing in Lion’s Arch bank. I spent only brief amount of time there and the noise the dancing character was producing was enough for me to turn off my speakers for the duration of my stay in the bank.
I returned to the bank about 40 minutes later and the same character was still dancing. I’m not sure weather people do this deliberately to irritate others or not, but such behavior could be described as audio-spam.
I would like to see an option to disable character sounds.
