Lost connection during battle for Tarir twice today, without being able to rejoin the map until it was over. No rewards, no achievement progress and time wasted. I’m extremely displeased. Error 7:11:3:191:101. Win 7 sp1 64 bit, 64 bit game client, 10mbit up/40mbit dl VDSL with average ping 45 as displayed in game options menu.
Just noticed this:
Bloodlust: Deal 5% additional damage to bleeding foes. Bleeding you inflict lasts 33% longer
So not only is the 10% damage reduced to 5%, the bleeding duration also took a hit, used to be 50% down to 33%. Deep cuts on live gives 50%.

Personally, I think removing the last tier on every achievement is fair and reasonable.
E.g. 100k dolyaks vs 500k dolyaks
I’ve been playing this game since prelaunch. I have nearly 8.000 hours clocked on it. I play WvW at least 80% of the time I’m on, and I only recently managed to hit 10.000 dolyaks.
That’s over 2.5 years of killing dolyaks. What you are suggesting is 10x as much. It’s NOT fair and reasonable, considering the amount of time you need to get, say, dragon rank, which is the maximum tier.
It would be cool to make it a ground targeted AoE with a short range. Might make it a decent substitute for Bull’s Charge. The idea of running it with Hammer and Rampage and just leaping all over the battlefield sounds hilarious.
600 range leap and reduced cooldown and I’d use it
The stance does nothing for you unless you activate it, unlike +180 toughness you receive from signet when you don’t use it. Swiftness on it is a joke anyway, did anyone seriously use this skill for it’s swiftness?

I wouldn’t mind addition of this map at all, as long as we get to keep old borderlands map alongside it. No rotations, no tournaments, just let us have what we already have.

If this is true then balanced stance is getting obsoleted. Lets compare it with SYG:
- 40 second cooldown, 5 stacks for the warrior only versus
- 30 second cooldown, 5 stacks for 5 allies
And that is before the traits are applied, making the difference even bigger in SYG’s favor.
If we compare it to dolyak signet, it comes short again: - offers no passive benefit like signet does
- offers half the stability stacks
- traits make the difference even larger in favor of the signet
QA team should be all over this.

Sometime, if the enemy move to me, I miss Eviscerate because the enemy come close to me…
This. I wish eviscerate was an ordinary attack, without the “leap” animation. Make the warrior glow for all I care for the purpose of telegraph, just make the kitten thing connect. It’s so unreliable now.

Update: same issue with Wings of the sunless.
Holographic shattered dragon wings doesn’t animate properly. It works in preview window, but looks static in game world. If you toggle display for back item it will play it’s animation once and then freeze.

Time may vary. I play wv3 almost exclusively and 10 second delay is not uncommon in gold league.
I’ve noticed this skill sometimes produces it’s audio and visual effect much later than intended. At first I’ve thought it could be related with the audio, so I’ve tested it by running the game with -nosound parameter. My results were the same, up to 10 seconds of delay on execution of this skill. My guess is it’s waiting for server response, something along the lines of this:
player: I want to use smite condition
server: do you have conditions on you?
player: this is my list of conditions
server: you can remove this condi… <have a break, have a kittkatt> …ition here
player: oh snap, I’m already dead, nvm then
Can this be looked into? Perhaps make the server querry higher priority? I’m sick of dying to 15 stacks of bleeding I can’t remove because server is on a break.
Anyone else having similar issues with this skill?
Bugged on red borderland (Piken Square). I’ve got both key parts and I can open the vault but the chest won’t open for me.
EDIT: I’ve tried destroying keys and reloading the borderland but now key chest appear open and I can’t loot any keys from them.

Considering the 24h cd and account bound mats i might sell my first chest to earn some gold.
My understanding was it’s account bound once crafted? I highly doubt you’ll be making any profit.
Just read the patch notes today (6/11), another patch and this, acknowledged and breaking bug, has still not been fixed!

Most skills have an aftercast delay. Only instant-cast skills do not (save a couple, like Corrupt Boon and Wall of Reflection). During that period, no skill (other than those same instant-cast skills) can be activated. GW1 had them too.
And yes, the yellow bar is .75 seconds to fill.
Alright, you’ve made me done some work to find out exactly how much time it takes to cast.
Software used: FRAPS and virtualdub
Notice the time frame. Image is composed from 3 snapshots from the video, sequentially. Yellow cast bar dims after the 0.9 seconds marks (video cut there).
Note that at this time no projectile is visible still . Actual cast happens after the 0.9s mark.
Aftercast delay you talk of begins when the yellow bar disappears from the screen.
Even with neglecting the fact the cast doesn’t actually go off at 0.9s mark this is not 0.75s.

JonPeters.5630That being said it looks like you can fire one of these orbs every .8 seconds whereas Necro staff fire rate is 1.3 seconds. Grasp does pass through targets in a line so I feel that differential is fairly warranted.

How does necromancer community feel about this?
Honestly, I don’t give a kitten about this class any more. I’ve spent to much time, in game money, and effort trying to make it work. I roll any other class and instantly start doing better than I ever have on those classes in just a few days at being level 80.

Either way, until something changes my necro will continue to collect dust at the character selection screen – as she has been doing for a few months now.

This. 1695 hours played on my necromancer and until some major class rework is done, I don’t see a reason to give a kitten any longer.
Consume conditions has reduced cast time as well. However, if they go about fixing this, then a fix for the cast time of land skills (necrotic grasp etc) is in order too.
Champion mob in arena event in cursed shore blocked both corrupt boon and epidemic.
Anyone else having similar experiences with our newly buffed abilities?
Use epidemic to spread conditions. Use staff. Use DS defensively while waiting for your heal to come off cooldown.

To be fair, it IS a really strong trait (or would be if anything on the axe did damage, except #2. Honestly, auto attack is useless on it). A permanent 20% damage increase, all the time, on top of any Might you have, and Vulnerability the enemy has.
I’d Just Like To Interject For A Moment. It isn’t 20%. It’s 15%.

- Wells now share a 10 second cooldown to prevent AoE stacking.
- Wells radius has been decreased to match that of staff marks.
- Greater marks now affects wells.
- Putrid mark damage has been toned down to be brought in line with rest of the marks.
- Reanimator jagged horror AI has been made more responsive.
- Rending claws damage has been increased by 2%

As some of you already know, Piken Square has been one of the major surprises in the WvWvW. A server unofficially designated role playing server houses several well organized guilds that have been the steel fist enforcing Piken Square’s constant raising in the tiers.
Tainted is one such guild. With a long tradition and roots in WAR, Tainted is a mature (21+), veteraned and well organized guild. The sound of TNTD’s Chainsword wielding berzerkers is something our enemies have learned to dread, as it heralds swift (and brutal) doom.
Tainted has thus far had it’s recruitment closed and only possible way to get invited was a recommendation from someone already in the guild. We’ve decided to change this policy and open the recruitment to the community.
Individuals that feel capable of taking part in disciplined, organized, efficient and well trained warband warfare are hereby invited to apply at our website.

I’m sorry I misspoke and said Life Siphon, what I meant to say was Life Transfer. The Number 3 ability while in Death shroud. When you use Life Transfer you heal nearby allies. That’s the ticket.
Number 3 ability while in Death shroud is called ‘Doom’. Life Transfer is bound to number 4.
But the Life Transfer itself is still “healing” your HP as well as gaining LF.
Like I said it’s a quick 3k heal to you and every ally around you including Minions / pets that also deals damage and continues to build Life Force.
This isn’t true. Traited Life transfer [Blood magic VI, Transfusion] does not heal you.

That’s the point. A thief is able to land 3 heartseekers on me while I run away like a headless chicken. In turn, when I fear a thief, he turns around, starts running then changes his mind, turns around and proceeds to send me into downed state.

I move to have the description of fear effect caused by necromancer skills changed to:

a sudden shock of surprise, alarm, or the like. _
Seems more fitting seeing how it lasts only one second while thieves and warriors have their lasting up to 3 seconds.

On topic: what we (the community) expect from you (the developers) in regards to WvWvW is: FIX THE CULLING ISSUES.
Check it out for yourselves, I get a 1020 heal on killing something. It does seem to have some internal cooldown (10 seconds? needs further testing).
