Transfered a stack of wintersday wooden sword skins from guild stash to personal inventory.
They vanished from the guild stash – no entry in log was noted.
They did not appear in my personal inventory.
They are gone, completely vanished.
-edit-
Transfered a separate unrelated stack of items and the swords appeared in inventory alongside the transfered stack of items.

Recently the UI is not displaying when first loading into the game.
Takes a few seconds and loads in in bits and pieces.
This is like your next door neighbor griping when you ask him to turn down his obnoxiously loud music. “If I’m not disturbing my neighbors then how will they know how great a stereo I bought?”
Nope this is more like you worked hard to get a nice stereo and when you play music on it your obnoxious neighbour doesn’t ike the music so complains to the police incessantly about it.
I know this has been mentioned before several times, now a year later a lot more players have commander tags and it is giving rise to situations where you have a ton of commanders on a map just making the minimap look like a blue chevron covered sprinkle.
The tag just serves as a visual distraction now and has lost any of the prestige associated with it. (if it had any in the first place being able to be bought for 100g is another story…)
It would be great if you could include an option to hide this visual blight in PvE, WvW obviously needs commanders, but you never see these PvE commanders in WvW rarely anyway.
I am bumping this, I do not even know if devs read this forum but I sincerely hope this gets back to Linsey Murdock.
She said that FSP owners would not get any aura’s footsteps etc in the past legendary update so at least can we get someone on the art team to look at the guardians aegis ruining the face of the shield?
To be blunt it looks crap and ruins the legendary.
Also IoJ… unmanned turrets outman the actual players. I will never see Teq done because of timezone since we just can’t command enough players.
Wow! Look at all those players who turned up to fight Tequatl! I will surely get to see him die this time…
Sorry for being facetious but this is a regular occurence in oceanic prime on the server I am on, it’s pretty sad, we can’t even muster enough people to use the turrets.
This also fulfils the prediction prior to the patch that I made that Teq would be unable to be completed in my timezone purely because of lack of numbers breeding resentment and frustration and it would end up being a dead event, it actually happened a lot quicker than I anticipated.
The organisation that is required for Teq’s fight needs to be something that flows from natural gameplay so that it is obvious to the average player not these 100+ voice linked guilds who are killing Teq now. This is a major failure on Anet’s behalf that the average player cant drop into the event and be coached in game via some method that is conducive to cooperative gameplay that will allow Tequatl to succeed with random players participating.
I am not a casual player and I am close to giving up on Tequatl. The pure reason is that there is just not enough organisation by the random playerbase to allow this content to be successful on a semi or even blue moon regular basis. I have a massive problem with this because it is out of my control as a player character. You can’t improve yourself by creating a larger community out of thin air nor can you create a better cooperative environment if people will not listen. You can try your heart out as an individual but if everyone else is not on the same page why bother, there is no reward for trying.
Ah interesting, in the many many times I have done this I have never encountered the fail state. This time though it must have been a troll as someone activated every single container and then left the area.
On IoJ, unable to interact with any of the poison containers. No inquest are spawning.
More evidence that Quality Assurance at ArenaNet is nonexistent.
Perhaps you should lend them your massive knowledge about QA and how best they can optimise their company for testing for large scale deployment under tight time frames. I am sure you have a wealth of experience and wisdom gathered whilst festering in your armchair.
The OP image does look a lot like Caithe, but I’m more interested in that black Dragon-like background in that image that stretches from the Sylvari’s dress.
I don’t think that’s a dragon it is Caithe’s right arm holding a dagger.
Living Story. Burned Out.
What is the incentive to do this now?
With the numbers of people who do this event on the server I am on it always fails leaving the player with scant reward.
I gave it a few goes even in periods of high populace and the turnout is bad, I really did try to enjoy this event as a perm addition to the living story but there is zero incentive to do this at all in the future considering the abysmal reward at the end for the time investment in comparison to many other things that can be partcipated in that are much more interesting and rewarding.
The text that alerts for a pending invasion now doubles as a dont bother with that area unless you like to waste 40 minutes, it’s sad.
My concern with the new event is that info flying about says 80+ people is optimal for the event. In my timezone when I log on there is not even close to that amount of people for any world event so far. I fear that Tequatl will become just like Orrian events – completely abandoned with every single event in its fail state.
This would be the second time ANet have passed over the FSP for a visual upgrade. My friends with legendary wepaons will be running about with glows, auras, special projectiles, footsteps, sound effects on top of an awesome looking weapon and the FSP I wield will do none of those things except glow and turn pages.
I still love the look of it but it is a bit disappointing to be honest.
yer… just had that happen to me, spent 40+ minutes running about and finally got to scarlet and crashed and dumped to desktop. considering i only had a few hours to play tonight that is a real bummer.
Any hammer, human female, wrist is twisted right around contorting all poly’s at the joint.
5 Days ago Colin said this in reference to the champion ember farm in cursed shore.
I just want to point out, we agree. The game is more fun and exciting when defeating things and working together with other players is rewarding. Champions have always been an issue in this area, and it’s why we addressed it, we’re continuing to pursue other areas in the game in upcoming releases as well.
That being said: the behavior we want is people join up together to play events, but they want to succeed those events and win them, we never want to be in a state where intentionally failing an event is more rewarding or better for players. We’re not going to take a giant hammer to champion loot, we love it and love seeing people joining together to do events. We do want to make succeeding events what the game is about. We also do want to make some events in the future even more challenging, and in return more rewarding for succeeding.
You will see changes over time to help directly encourage players to always want to try and succeed events, we don’t ever want to create conflict between players who want to progress an event chain, and those who want to fail it. It’s bad for the game and not what Gw2 is all about.
So… what we have now are people who intentionally fail the invasion event because it is simply more profitable to farm aetherblade champs instead of killing Scarlett and getting a few boxes.
I would like to know what Anet’s thoughs on the matter are now considering the above quote.
Scarlet is less subtle a villain than a brick to the face named “villain”.
Well, scarlet…
I am starting to feel that the writers have no sense of subtlety when writing for their heroes or villains. Scarlet is so patently absurd a character that I have a hard time taking the living story seriously at all.
The hints of a greater conspiracy for the last few months leading to this is a bit of a let down.
If you want to be a villain in the GW2 universe just laugh like a crazy person announcing “IM EEEEVIL MUAHAHAHAHA” repeatedly just so you know people really undestand that you are.
I did not think t3 was dificult, read the descriptions of the bosses and know your class their limitations and what utils / skills etc to bring to counter their attacks. Liadri on the other hand is tough, the mechanics are not immediately obvious imo.
liandri is really bloody hard.
Also you dont need zerk, I’m a condition necro and did it fine.
I roll a die every time I feel like buying a RNG anything (chest keys for example) from the gem shop.
If I roll a seven then I buy some keys.
Don’t you guys complain every one in the oceanic region is going to get slapped in their prime time – straight after work to around midnight or just a bit before.
That said though go do something else, least it’s not weekly maintenance and they need to make sure all our currency’s go into the right wallets :P
I am the hero who kills dragons by shooting them in the foot or pressing 2.
Why the voting sucks:
Having to manually click through 250+ tokens. That is why it sucks.
I despise this minigame, it’s RNG based like all the other RNG bs in the game. Aspect Arena is much better since all players are placed on equal footing and it comes down to the skill of the player and not the luck of the drops you receive.
Are you saying they physically changed description from ori to copper?
Or are they gathering like lower tier tools and collecting ruined items?
If it is the second statement, it is rumoured that gathering whilst in combat can yield ruined materials.
STOP BUMPING THE TOPIC.
This serves no purpose other than to clutter the forum and get your post deleted.
If you are running cof and it is towards the end then it is probably the infamous lock your weapon switch bug because you are in combat in a cutscene bug.
Interesting that it happens in wvw though.
The hellfire braces that you unlock belong to the class of armour of the character you unlocked them on.
For example, my guardian unlocked the reward and the gloves belong to heavy class preventing my medium and light classes from previewing correctly.
This persists when withdrawing the item as well, however they can still be applied correctly.
Ranger, female, sylvari.
sun catcher back piece vanishes between axe throws.
please see attached video.
I would love to know if ANet have any plans for all the abandoned group events in Orr, if no one is around to do them then what happens?
They just stay like that forever?
I pushed 3 major events in CS to their boss/ champ stages – no one shows up and they become impossible to solo so have to abandoned and never completed now that CS is an empty zone, it;s pretty bloody sad.
It’s fun….
If you do not have any latency, then it is a huge nightmare.
ANET please stop making bloody minigames so dependant on latency.
I have not tried to go for the crystals yet but my problem is with sanctum sprint where half of the skill activations don’t fire making it very dificult to actually enjoy the minigame. The lightning pull does not fire on the first one dumping you into the water, I have had the second one misfire launching me into the waterfall instead of the lightning tether, I have been teleported back half the map on the third one because of a misfire… on it goes, I love the idea of the sprint but it is not remotely fun with any sort of latency.
-edit-
Now I am getting randomly teleported backwards in the map, so client → server sync issue this is extraordinarily frustrating.

Yer this is definitely not any connection problem on my side. It is still happening.
I have no idea what is triggering it but the BLTC will work for a short period then it just stops working completely.
Considering it is linked to the preview window as well suggest some sort of internal problem with the BLTC program itself. I have no idea what is causing it though but it happens regularly.
The skillpoint in cursed shore for magicohesion cannon.
Staff skill results in obstructed (any angle) or out of range (any distance).
To be blunt, cursed shore is plainly kitten now.
I was going to make a new topic questioning how any player was supposed to participate in events in cursed shore by themselves since the place is abandoned.
Pretty much anything involving a champion level mob in a non group event is fubar since you won’t be able to even scratch the boss and they will hit you once or twice and shred you.
So all you can really do here is run around kill the odd lone mob and maybe tag along when the zerg arrives to push over melandru and grenth priests.
The risen squires in orr have an attack that cripples you, on occasion this attack has no timer so it never expires resulting in an infinite length cripple and also leaves you in combat.
This cripple can still be removed via condition removal as per norm.
I find myself in need of a large number of elaborate totems.
Here’s the kicker – I would like to be able to earn them in game off mobs instead of mindlessly running path 1 of cof til I am blue in the face and hate the game.
I am familiar already with the grawls in forstgorge but they have an abysmal drop rate for any mats (t5, t6 and skulls) I have found over several farming runs.
Are there any other alternatives to farm these materials at a reasonable rate? Even if the returns of other materials is worthwhile it is fine.
I deeply dislike that running cofp1 has become the defacto method of acquiring any end game materials in quantity because of its efficiency but that is a discussion for another time.
Also the further you are from Anet’s server your latency has a pretty significant effect on your ability to get out of aoe and time your movement around the lasers, I noticed this was particlarly promiment on the barrage phase of the end boss as I would move out of aoe circles but still take damage as if I had been hit a full second earlier. The lasers are not as bad since you generally give them a wide berth but if you are on a close call and try to jump on a box half the time you will be on the box and also hit by the laser simultaneously. Pretty annoying as nothing can be done about latency except hopefully ANet realise this for the future.
Today a guild mate and I had 7 people in and out of the party, one left because of prior engagement, next two couldn’t hack the end boss and rage quit, got a replacement 3, of the replacements one left for whatever reason half way through the end boss fight, and then we finally got one more and finished the boss.
Talk about bloody annoying.
On the primarily green based maps for those who have g/r colourblindness the markers are very hard to distinguish and may as well be completely absent they blend in so well to the background.
Perhaps for something like this in the future they need to have some sort of distinguishing outline to make them easier to see.
Any ideas on how to deal with organised thief duos? (WvWvW)
Fought two organised perma stealth thieves and it was an absolute nightmare to fight them as they kept comboing off each others smoke powder, alternating c&d and using shadow refuge, very protracted fight but one that woree myself and another beastmaster ranger down eventually.
Lost every engagement to them with out even denting them, I run a hybrid beastmaster ranger, generally I find thieves on their lonesome not much an issue this was something bordering on ridiculous.
Works for a short while when I log in or restart GW2, after a single preview of an item it ceases to function, cannot preview anymore, cannot sell, or buy on the BLTC til I restart GW2 again.
Can see gems via inventory screen, can’t see gems vis BLTC.
I haven’t had the chance to even make it to her since the freaking camp was infested in the defense event with karka and have subsequently been slain every single time making the run back causing me to miss the fight. I don;t mind a challenge but to wade through one shot bs from a multitude of level 84 enemies is not my idea of fun remotelty.
At least you guys can do the guild missions, smaller guilds are still getting left by the wayside even though a lot of us are working our butts off to unlock the missions it is going to take a very long time and a lot of the bounties are VERY unforgiving on small guilds.
