Anet wanted the toxic meta players out of dungeon content. They were willing to throw nice meta players under the bus for that.
that toxic meta kept the game alive and gave a good gold making strategy by forcing you to get better at pve content, shure, now we have raids… personally i dont care about that new shiny stuff. i want a place where all classes work (dungeons)

but as nike said, this type of implementation takes alot of time and effort and for now we can dream about this

What would a greataxe offer mechanically that can’t also be done with a greatsword or maybe hammer? I think some greatsword skins should be greataxes. Since we had three legendary greatswords in the base game maybe one of the HoT legendary greatswords can be a T-Rex themed greataxe with the other greatsword skin being a guitar with rifts as you swing and have pyrotechnic footsteps?
Greataxes as skins for hammers or greatswords would be good enough while introducing a whole other weaponset would create even more balancing issues.

just imagine number 3 from GS on a greataxe and backbreaker from hammer in one weapon for example
this will be fun in some future expansion

just specced for pure rifle in PVE and oooowh my god what u can do with it, just grab some veterans+ normal mobs, pack em’ together and use 2 bursts (tested in frostgorge sound behind jormag spawn at those 2 veteran wolfs)
the evade on 4th skill is soo nice for pure long range, hit 5 then 4 and u have big gap between u and mobs

what if we can just get a keybind so that we can use our other burst without having to swap weapons.
like an F3 ? but Anet should find a way to mix animations or we would see GS warr randomly throwing out gunflame out of the blue
in berserk mode warr can dish out 4 bursts, if on each we get 2-3 seconds of protection it will be nice
a little fun idea, what if we can get 2-3 seconds of protection after we hit a burst? this will make us a little more viable in team fights since we melt when stances end
rifle is the only thing that can show a middle finger to enemyes at range, gunflame is the best thing that warr have now :/ so if u nerf its damage, it will be useless, my point of view

they cut down our damage, boon duration and messed our adrenaline (and this is all told in a nutshell)…
’bout thrill of the kill trait y its useless now and it allways been (at least for me)
we should forget about 15% damage bonus/precision under the effects of adrenaline, at least until Anet wakes up( pray for it)

eh well, hamfast is right, at least from my point of view, adrenaline shouldnt be something that vanishes in thin air, especially when the fight reaches its peak.
after 1 year and 3 months…i rolled another class…
warrior inspired power, courage,that feeling of “bulletproofness”…all gone
now i sit and stare at my character selection screen hoping that someday his armor will shine again and that piece of a cold steel will slice foes once more

and btw, we can complain AFTER we see the patch in action, not now
okok, we all have complains, i have too due to berserkers power.
lets see the other options about we can improve even more the warrior when the patch goes live. from my little experience in pve and wvw, a 3.2k overall defence warrior with soldier runes and a few shouts, stomp, little traits in stability, will never have problems with CC or any condition stacker
use the shield+axe wisely, trait them wisely for reflect dmg, if they run and hit, just pull out a rifle with ice sigil>> they become the pray, u the hunter
