thief is strong at roaming( warr too) but keep in mind the numbers

gtx 750 8gb ram, i5 2320 and 240gb ssd. yeah, sot a kitten machine by today’s standards, my cpu is evem 1 year older than the game but!!! still rocking strong at med to high and 1 low option at 1080p with mostly 35-70 fps

after the cooldowns drop, warr is weak. free lesson ends here. u play condi bomb necro wich is insanely strong and its simply not enough for you.
nowadayz a good player gets almoast no hits from warr’s bursts/headbutt/s bash cuz they hit in slow motion and even a blind man sees the hit coming.
now what? just go duel some warriors, record then post the clip here, then we analyze your “amazing skills” , some1 offered to duel you and record. hell, ill duel you and im slightly above average in 1v1
but i guess u are here just to kitten off the warr forum

condi spec is also safer and easier. for me at least. but i still play in open world/all duneons and in some fractals with zerk gear
today i started to make a trailblazer full gear set specially for wvw since my only wvw set is zerker

in all pve content is miles ahead of power builds

oh kmon. even with all these nerfs i play my warr 80% of the time since 2012
its not the best dps but u have an amazing sustain due to lb range and sword f1 in all pve related content and u really catch up top dps classes on top of providing 70% of offensive support at the same time. condi warr is still a beast
in pvp idk
in wvw i play power builds and u still have good uses. those arc dividers hit almost in slow motion, but in zerg fights u hit alot of ppl since the aoe range is amazingly high, the damage of arc? still high.
u bring warr banner for revives. on “roaming mode” i win 6-7/10 fights constantly
its still a good class

how in the actual kitten can u chain 4 cc’s way too fast? the main cc’s are telegraphed and slow as hell, if u take other ccs u gamble way to much by not taking stances so wtf are we talking here?
and why are you posting on warr forum in the first place? u need atention? go cry on necro forum and maybe some1 will teach u how op can necro be, then you will realize how domb u look in the warr forum.

this is wvw my friend, everything is a very very long term goal, even the titles. it has been like this from day 1

this is amazing… how people want to have it all.
its NOT about pips, its about enjoying this kitten game mode. from my perspective there is only 1 reason, u just want to farm some skins asap and then leave.
im not a high wvw lvl, im only 330 and barely finished the silver chest last week but it doesnt matter, i started to wvw because i like the game mode and even transfered to another server just for this
i dont care how much time it will take me to get the backpiece, even tho i rly want it.

there is no discrimination here, this is the apreciation Anet has for the ppl that stayed in wvw at its darkest days. discrimination would be if u could get 7 pips for tick and have no weekly limit on how many tickets u can get.

exactly, WS also gives a rly nice escape from roots as well, in big zergs its a must for me(80% of gear is berserker and 20% knights)

you can keep the might cap even with axe now, just use burst 24/7 strength runesdumplings+fgs and also have both banners in fractals

now its intresting cuz ppl got used to fight the same headbut+burst warrior and now most of them are surprised) its soo much more fun
this morning i switched to berserker traitline for 1 hour aaand i went back to core warr, its nice to have 2 single target stuns and 2 aoe stuns ^^ wich also loads ppl with weakness

after the “slow motion nerf” of the main skills i tend to ignore berserker trait and just use core power warr in wvw (strength/defense/discipline) and axe+mace / sword+shield
yes, this build cant hit as high but i find it more reliable

is there any1 that switched to core warr? and if so, share your impressions

actually in pvp/wvw many ppl dont even run strength line at all. its all about defense discipline and berserker combo

sword+shield/warhorn for utility and a rifle if u somehow need ranged dps
other than that…meh
personally i run mace+mace(heavy CC at the begining of the fights) and greatsword( as primary dps and might stack)

but since the update im considering switching to condi berserker( at least for fractals)

Warrior is still fine. Still dishes out a ton of damage. Stop crying because your 1v1 kitten stroking dueling now requires a tiny bit of thinking.

I play my warrior when I don’t want to think while roaming, and I’m not particularly good at it. However after playing today – I can still reliably hit with shield bash, I don’t even see a difference with are divider, and landed that way more often than not. Headbutt was hard to land, but hey, it’s cooldown is incredibly short, so I got to try again over and over…

Power warrior actually doesn’t. If I’m not mistaken it was already pretty much bargain basement among dps and this certainly didn’t help. If it was a problem with Pvp, it should have been split.

Context clues will clearly tell you I was talking about and responding to a reply regarding WvW. If PvE carebears are so adamant about having the best “DPS” for their non-human damage sponge enemies, they should just play whatever current profession is performing the best “DPS.” Because its obvious from PvE whining and crying that “DPS” is much higher on their priority list than actually playing the profession they enjoy.

they alllll complayned about arc divider ( too much aoe range,to much damage to much that or that or that) fine! nerf the range and damage but tont make it straight useless!

i allways loved heavy armor classes for reliability, high damage and survivability
tried all classes but nothing makes me feel alive as warrior does
i main warrior for over 4 years, even tho in gw2 warr has amazing buff potency (interesting if u ask me) it still deals high bursts and has some kind of violent play style, just head on and arc divide/decapitate all foes. little planning needed.
i like being in the middle of the zerg stearing death in the eye, i am the ultimate frontliner, blood starts boyling and 3..2..1…im on fire!
also i love dual axes and greatswords wich look awesome and demand respect

from what i notice at my friends that play with me, every1 plays a class that reflects theyr personality somehow ^^
guess im a little volcanic and just go berserk)

id really love to be able to change lipstick colors since it happens to find some nice faces with ugly lipsticks that dont fit my color schemes, the accessory color change was asked a while ago by some1 but…never happened, just needs to enable the unlocked dyes that player has, not just those ugly stock ones :/

guards can output so much burst dps in HOT maps with zerk gear its not even funny, you should have no problem useng zerker gear +GS

i personally love the idea too. body sliders will prolly never be added but still, face options, beards, haircuts, face tattoos etc. could be an option right away, not only trough kits( gem store)
id also love to see different stances while in combat, dialogues even (im tired of “i can outrun a centaur”) different voice types etc.
oh and add pls some decent pants for the love of god. i had to switch my male norn into female just becouse he looked like he had short legs XD

if u want open world farming u need the expansion to go do the famous auric basin endless broken chest looting that anet seems to ignore patch fixing
dungeons are allmost dead from the moment they nerfed to the ground the rewards
the only serious content left is t4 fractals and raids
anything else…some ppl tend to do daily and gather wood and ore to craft theyr “daily gold income aka 1 deldrimor ingot and 1 spiritwood plank”

the new borderlands are amazing in my pov, autoloot, revard tracks, dat pesky nodes to gather, i like everything they did so far. the only “problem” is ascended gear for some players, lets just add a extremely hard and time gated reward track( 1 time a week for example) and be done with it.
the thing lacking is server pride and what do we get if we are Number 1 ?
eh… i realy want some new tournaments that add some prestigeus skins

the benefits of arms trait line is gaining access to signet mastery wich grants stacking bonus and also reduces signet cd >> this way elite and heal signets grants more might. also the 5% dps boost from minor trait its nice
used to play that kind of build 2 years ago and allways started fights this way: using longbow>>activate precision signet, quickly F1 for fire field on boss landed skill 3 inside field, place both banners inside field, poping heal signet and elite, swap GS then double dodge in to fight,
this way party starts the fight with 19 mights min, then in 2-3 seconds is capped 25 only by what warrior can do by itself

hi, i would swap the runes with strength or scholar since u allready have run speed from discipline trait line
in disc line i would chose banners grant regeneration( u will give regen to the party with banners aswell)
axe main hand has powerful AA chain but u will camp GS for might stacking anyway
replace FGJ with banner of discipline
use sword+warhorn when skipping trash mobs
and after u get used to survive better ill swap to full berserker armor too
aaand thats pretty much it

you should mention at first that all about PVP, in pve its perfect

well, u can start farming 4 aristocracy runes if u wanna go condi ps in raids ^^

so u dropped defence its a nice step up and gz 4 this.
i main warrior for almost 4 years and i also started with PTV gear, later i “upgraded” to knights, then berserker with knight trinkets and in 6-7 months became able to use just zerk gear and dont die. point is, u need time to adjust, so just remember that if u switch to full dps builds u will die, but thats the process of becoming better

blood reckoning is not available for the core warrior. idk, maybe u dont dodge properly? cuz heal signet is more than capable to keep u alive in all pve content, or maybe u got used to rely on AH as u said and got a little bit lazy and dont pay much attention on your surroundings and mobs.

if somehow u have the berserker spec unlocked, man, u will destroy 50% of HOT mobs by 1 arc divider. i personally gather mobs in clusters and go like >>head but >>arc divider>>blood reckoning>>arc divider>>100b>>arc divider, or start with 100b to might stack first, that way nothing remains alive near you.

for core condi warrior id sugest replacing the shield with another sword, u will still be able to block and gain access to impale+rip combo wich does good damage

a little core warrior condi build i used to run, but with some up to date tweaks

i think the real question should be: Should i use defence trait line in pve? answer is no, it makes no sense, just pick strength, arms and discipline, this way u will do more arcing slices with more damage and at the same time keeping up the bonus dmg from strength more consistently due to higher adrenaline regen, not to mention signet mastery wich also boosts ur dps significantly.
if u kill faster theres no need for defence trait line cuz dead mobs= no damage on u

this is situational, depends on what boss ur facing. but in 65% of encounters in fractals/raids, condi is better, if u can melee the boss 100%, zerk phalanx is better, if not, condi phalanx

berserker because 100b, good mobility, amazing buffs (phalanx is life <3 )
and daredevil >> amazing mobility and verry good dps, not to mention how fast he gathers nodes))

4th gen vs 6th gen, generally theres a 5-10% increase in performance depending on what you do.
go for i5 6600, or get a little bit more G to buy the 6600k
there is no reason to go 4th gen, ddr4, m.2 x4 pci-e ssds and usb C are some kitten good features available even on mid range motherboards, so you get all the new bling

craft or buy? this depends on the player’s character at the end, personally i crafted spark just to save 100-150g BUT i come across some bugged events that delayed my progress for 3-4 days and made me go insane

in open world pve u can wear whatever u want tbh. sometimes i roll with mace /mace just for fun to break out the monotony. but if u are serious about dungeons/fractals/raids you should always go for an optimal setup, otherwise ppl will not take you as a seryous player

and… thats the reason why my frostfang rusts in inventory :/ lack of suport damage and mobility
we like it or not, for now GS is our holy weapon

try to instal an older GPU driver and see if it does the same thing

depends on what you rly want, amd or nvidia when it comes to r9 380 vs gtx 960, maybe go for 960 for shadowplay and lower power consumption. but when it comes to performance there is that 1-2% in favor of r9 380 in the majority of games
consider that gw2 is a CPU bound game, the better cpu u get, the greater experience, yes the oced 950 its similar to a non oced 960
if u like to pvp mostly, the i3 is perfect but if u do alot of zerg oriented content like bosses you might feel some fps drops here and there

i do build PCs for friends and sometimes customers, between those skylake i5s the diference is in ghz 2.8 for i5 6400 and 3.2 for the 6500. (kinda 10% performance gain for the 6500)
the i3 6100 does beat the i5s in core per core battle by a fair amount, but gw2 uses 3-4 phisical cores so the i5s do beat the i3s by a good chunk of performance ( like 30-35% in gw2)
my brother roks the i5 4460 in gw2 and he plays mostly on high settings at 1080p
i still use an older SB 2500 i5 and play on med to high settings (we both run with 8gb ram and gtx 750 ti )
