Regardless of any issues or limitations on their part, they should restore your gems as a matter of good faith. If people then try to take advantage of that and claim they lost gems when they did not, then ArenaNet should pull their head out of the sand and resolve their technical limitations.

Really? It takes 10 seconds or less to dye a square, observe the result and change it back if you do not like it. This, IMO, would be a waste of dev time.

I think I should be able to cosmetically make my armor look like whatever I want it to look like. Let my thief wear a tiara. This armor should be cosmetic only (my town armor) and have an armor class of 0.

Then I can have my combat armor. There should be an option to automatically switch to town clothes/armor whenever I enter an area that does not allow combat.

I think the thief should be a stealth class and not be able to use any weapon that is not silent. Pistols should be removed and replaced with throwing daggers/axes. They should not be able to use any 2 handed weapon unless it is a bow or a blowgun.

I used to be a professional game tester for Maxis. You have no clue how much time/money is spent on testing a game. The paths that have to be tested in a game as complicated as GW2 are literally endless. And testing is limited by all kinds of factors – schedule, number of testers, hardware, bandwidth, number of clients it is possible to simulate…

You can turn yourself invisible. Then you will appear to be offline. However, no one can whisper to you if you are in that state. People can only talk to you in /say /guild and /party

I don’t think a guild should be able to see anything related to another guild. The player should be able to see a contribution breakdown, but that is it.

All a guild should be able to see is what you contributed to that guild, how much in-game time you have spent with that guild and when you last logged on.

I am all for home instances and you should be able to invite as many people as you can fit into your home.

Yes, but 50 threads of the same type may have less impact than 1 mega-thread.

Either larger parties period or multiple instances of taverns and other places people like to RP. These there should be a dialog that appears for a instance location that lists the number of instances and the chars in each instance so a player can decide which instance to join.

Currently the entire area around a tavern can be too spammy to RP in.

There have to be 20 kittens for this already! Am I the only kitten that can see the Search button?

Morons! Can we remove those kitten-kickers?

If you try to join a 5th guild, you get an Internet Connection Error message. You should get an error message stating that you already belong to the maximum number of guilds.

Custom chat channels are a great idea and I support that, but the 2 support 2 different functions..

Suppose there is custom channel created for Maiden’s Whisper. But I am not actually inside, I am outside, by the fountain. I cannot see the people inside and it does not make sense for me to RP in that channel. I could create a custom channel for the fountain and urge people to join, but that is all I can do. If people do not want to join the channel, I must RP in /say.

I come from a background of RPing in MUDs. The MUD I used most had an IC channel and and OOC channel. To post to either channel, you could simply press a button and toggle the output. In the MUD, when I posted to the IC channel, it would look like this:

Synsuous:[IC] Why did you kick that kitten?

Lots of people RP on Tarnished Coast and use brackets to indicate that the are talking OCC. However, this can be annoying to do and people frequently forget.

Yeah, I noticed the “say” channel is usually ignored, because it is filled with NPC’s text speeches. Even I find my self skipping all the “say” messages in the chat window!

Would be cool to have a nice RP-say chat filter or something.

Not just a server. All of the RPers are already on Tarnished Coast along with a slew of morons who think that disrupting RPers by starting bar fights (not chat fights, but shoot ’em up rattle the whole dam bar fights) .

It would be excellent if there could be RP instances of the various taverns where you have to specifically enter the instance, like you do with other instances.

It would also be nice if there was a Vote Kick button and if the majority of the RPers decided someone was a troll or otherwise unwelcome, they could be kicked from the instance.

In DDO, the MotD is the 1st thing that is displayed in the Guild chat tab.

I want a huge mailbox. We are talking about text here. It doesn’t take up much space and it compresses easily. Limit the number of attachments, if that is necessary. 10 pieces of mail is simply ludicrous. What, is this 1975?

If a message contains coin, the last line in the message should state the amount of coin and the coin should be auto-collected upon delivery.

I should be able to select who the message is going to from my Contact List, and I should be able to include as many To:s as I want.

I want a Sent folder. While we are at it, I want to be able to create my own folders and organize my mail.

Extra Credit will be given for letting me create Rules to sort my mail for me.
