There have been several times in guild chat when some kitten had to send some other Panda gold because they were broke. Maybe they can’t manage their gold, I don’t know. I do know that I RP more than I do anything else and one day I might be the broke kitten calling for coin.

You can make as many chat tabs as you like (although on my monitor, only 4 are visible at a time). I have tabs for /say, /whisper, /guild, /party, and one for everything else.

And sit on counters and tables and chests and any other object a person might sit on iRL. I am tired of sitting on the bar only to sink into it until only my head shows.

I am talking purely cosmetic. I don’t care if I take a good piece of armor and turn it into something that offers no protection if I can get the look I want for walking around and RPing in. Ask for the PvP aspect, add a flag or other mechanism that won’t allow the cosmetic armor to be worn in that world.

Sorry, but I have RPd in 5-6 different taverns and it happens everywhere, even in overflow. Once again, you are suggesting that a few idiots should be able to run rampant over and entire group of people. I don’t care if this is an MMO, people can’t get away with that kind of crap iRL. It is precisely why clubs have bouncers, to bounce the idiots.

I specifically stated that I was not the only unhappy person. In fact, there were about 15 RPers there who were upset.

I have never played a game, MMO or MUD, which did not have an alias feature. Considering the amount of text I enter, much of which is repeated on a regular basis, this is a must have feature. Extra credit will be given if the alias can contain color. Extra Extra credit: I write songs about the games I play. I sing the songs in the game. If I could have a macro that could contain an entire song and print out a line every 30 seconds or so, that would be awesome.

On a related note, the excessive message warning seems to be -much- easier to trigger now. I generally start to get it 3/4 of the way through a song. I also have a char who is a hyperactive girl and with her, I get it -all- the time. It’s bad enough that I can trigger this while singing a song or RPing a char that talks too fast, but does it -have- to spam in every chat window? Please!

An enhanced version of aliases would also be appreciated. In MUDs, you could create user scripts that allowed you to chain any valid /command together and many of the /commands had variables.

For example, I had a user script that would take a text string as a parameter and send it to all of my contacts at once. In GW2, I have to do this manually.

And before you say, ‘This can be abused’, -anything- can be abused and it is easy enough to report/block an abuser. A simple solution would be for a person to authorize being added to someone’s friend list, which is pretty common everywhere else.

The one liner ‘Set Nickname’ is simply not sufficient when it applies to all chars bound to that account. And considering the active RP community, it is woefully inadequate. I would like to be able to attach notes to an account. 2-3 paragraphs at least and more would be appreciated. Extra credit: Tabs. At at minimum, 1 tab for every char bound to an account, so they can each have a description. Extra Extra credit for a higher number of tabs.

I was in the Busted Flagon, singing a song. There were a group of people, enjoying the song. Two idiots entered the bar and started fighting. Everyone was unhappy, but there was nothing that could be done, they would not stop when asked to do so and I fled the bar in disgust.

I propose this: If X number of people (and you determine what X is – I would say 5) vote to kick someone from any public area, they are banished to overflow and cannot leave that map or overflow for 1 hour.

I am a thief. I can only wear a mask, it seems. However, the elementalist has a really awesome headpiece I want. I know that there is a stone that allows you to change the appearance of an item. Will that stone allow me to transfer the appearance of an item that is bound to another profession to an item that is bound to my profession? If not, please consider this a feature request for either that functionality to be added to the stone or for more cosmetic accessories in the store.

I’ve tried at least 15-20 times and we can never get in step. But I invented Faceplantsu because I suck at the jumping puzzles, so maybe I just have bad timing in this game.

I didn’t see this thread, since it is on page 7. I created a similar complaint about not being able to dye my shield, which people actually did iRL.

In DDO, when you log in, the MoTD is the 1st thing displayed in the guild chat window.

If you do add in-game marriages, you will have to add in-game divorces, so could you also add in-game divorce attorneys? Maybe I will be able to get a better settlement here.

I role play a lot. Can I have an emote for ‘back off buddy, your just not my type! ’. Telling this to them in various subtle ways via chat doesn’t seem to work, so maybe an animation will.

+1 Also, I frequently run into a bug where everyone is in a different map/overflow when the party is formed and the blue dot (when you finally find it) doesn’t accurately represent where the player is.

Ok, you will probably think this is stupid, but I don’t want to follow anyone. I want to walk beside someone. I RP and quite frequently me and some other player will try to walk side by side and have a conversation, just as people do in real life. It is next to impossible to get in step and stay in step.

So I want this: /walk *
