Notes should be available for all chars bound to an account who are friended in your Contast List as well.

Spiders are really scary in DDO and I know people who freak iRL when they see one in the game.

DDO has this feature. Anyone can create a private channel and they can be password protected so only people in the know can join.

The channels are also persistent across logout.

The 1st idea, ok. The 2nd…waste of server resources.

If they do that, I want my own emote…

Make friends, join a guild. I have 30+ friends in-game and there are usually 5-6+ on at any given time.

/map is a stupidity magnet. I don’t even use it anymore.

I generally wait 3-4 minutes if I am in an area where there is a -chance- that I will be revived, but I think the map should have an optional toggle to show all players in your immediate area, whether you are alive or not. It would be very helpful to know if there are people around for a DE, for example.

I have -specifically- posted in this thread and several of the duplicates that it should be optional.

I think the -entire- UI needs to be re-designed. Every UI element that has a font should have settings for font size/color. Every window/widget should be able to be moved/re-sized.

Again, the +1 button is missing.

With the recent change to dungeons, there are simply no more forgiving paths such as CM and CoF. A meter as suggested in the OP would help party leaders such as myself cull the wheat from the chaff and ensure the smoothest run possible.

Eliminating those who can’t take a boss down fast enough.and thus incur repair bills and wasted time running back for their teammates, would go a long way towards alleviating some of the problems created by the changes to dungeon rewards.

And it is attitudes like this one that make me say NO to DPS meters. I might like one for my own personal use and information, but there are already too many judgmental people out there already. There is no sense in putting another weapon in their kitten-hating hands.

If you are a higher level than I am, it is guaranteed. It appears that the maximum amount of damage you can take is based on your level, which seems very strange to me…

In DDO, the MotD is the 1st thing that is displayed in the guild chat window when you log in. I find this preferable to a pop-up. If a pop-up is added, it should be optional.

I write my own lyrics and -sing- the songs in the game.

By ‘sing’, I mean I ask people if they want to hear a song and if they do, I give them a list of songs I have written lyrics for and then I type out the lyrics for that song.

I suck at the jumping puzzles. In fact, I suck at them so badly that I invented a min-game where the entire goal is to die while trying to complete one. I would applaud any attempts to make jumping puzzles fun for me.

Personally, I think if you are going to idle in an area where monsters spawn, you should be killed and you armor broken. If I go camping in bear country iRL and get eaten by a bear, well, I have paid for my stupidity and the gene pool is a little cleaner.

DDO has this feature for explorable areas and dungeons. The levels are Casual, Normal, Hard, Elite

I can’t move the chat window at all, let alone resize it. Make the entire UI customizable, please! Also have font/color settings for each element of the UI this would be applicable to.

Fallout 3 had a player house and people made all kinds of different house mods. Obviously, the mod part is out, but having 1 player house per account that I could customize with options from the store would rock!
