mags you had no problem beating kain and yaks senseless for 3-4 weeks b4 the match change and when you get moved up to fight above the people you where stomping every week you complain…hmmmm

The scores were pretty darn close every one of those weeks, actually. The gap at the end was almost always less than the gap in score between DB and Maguuma now. But sure, keep on revising history. And a lot of us were still getting bored of the match, and Kaineng was losing guilds anyway so there wasn’t much more to get out of that matchup.

e]Edit: I should also say that I would be very surprised if many members of the WvW-concentrated guilds actually did not like last week’s matchup. Ehmry was a very close contender score-wise and FA actually likes to fight open field.

the nightly karma train you ran on kain(took 2nd every week) is something you do when you know your going to win not something you do when you might win because karma trains don’t defend or try and hold points so if it was close why didn’t they bunker down like you did in eb?

the kain/yaks/cd match-ups where much closer(i believe maybe a 10k points difference between 1st and 3rd) then the mags/yaks/kain matches(around 50k points difference)personally i think sos/mags and cd would probably be closer then your current matches but the new system seems to be trying to figure out where mags belongs because you where better then the old t3 but dont belong in what the old t2 as your last few matches have shown

The karma train always happens. It’s simply one of our commanders’ style. Of course the matches weren’t as close as they could have been, but I wouldn’t call it a senseless beatdown. That would be more like CD/TC/SoS.

I subscribe to the philosophy that sarcasm in text should always be followed by 10 exclamation marks. I suggest trying that if you want to convey sarcasm more clearly.

So Maguuma has at least 10 people on map. DB is attacking FA, who are holding Hills. There are no DB on Maguuma side of the map. Please Maguuma, please, explain why you would camp south hills and FA spawn instead of taking towers and Bay.

Then someone said they would post video of us getting owned saying it was rendering and well, I still haven’t seen it. Curious. Our raid group never had any problems fighting GF because we outnumbered you, but I guess you were too scared to see the result on even ground.

I am not making excuses for anyone, nor do I need to, because I know I wasn’t there for that attack. But I’m pretty sure that amount of tags implies it’s the karma train. It’s a good achievement no matter what, and the feeling of wiping groups while heavily outnumbered is quite nice. We wiped several YB groups about 3:1 as a guild group too back when we ran closer to 15 man.

Good fights to everyone except Good Fights apparently, lol. It’s both funny and sad how much anger Ehmry Bay has towards all of their opponents.

They have been playing in a Mumble channel that literally had the words “karma train” in it until this week. If they had a problem with it then they shouldn’t have entered the channel. tl;dr GF isn’t worth fighting outside of Tzenjin who was a good guardian and he doesn’t play anymore so GF isn’t worth fighting.

Can you tell me where the Maguuma failing hard part is so I can FF to it, or is this just a video of all of the fights you won?

It means we are more likely to fight again in the future… given the willingness of most people to fight open field, I can’t say I would mind.

All I see now are Tower Humpers, Zergers, and overall just horrible tendencies. What happened to the Mag of old where you could find roamers? Did they all leave or something?

Idk if you’re Ebay or FA. Earlier I was solo roaming around FA’s circle of camps. Probably 5+ cycles flipping every camp. Ran into a couple nice 1v3s though I lost them all. Several easy 1v2s. Didn’t find any challenging 1v1s. For the most part my roaming was PvE in WvW… bad luck I guess?

Before you’d be able to see TONS of mags roaming. Now you still have a few, but no where NEAR what Mag once had.

Its honestly saddening.

EBay and Mag seem to have about equal roaming populations from what I’ve seen so far.

In my experience, the roamers (myself included) really come out to play weekday nights after the weekend zergs dissipate. Spending more than 10 minutes at ruins island on weekend evenings and you’re guaranteed to be mowed down by a 20-30+ zerg.

edit: Illusion is a ~500 member PvX guild. Most are not WvW/PvP oriented, so it wouldn’t surprise me if a fellow Asuran Thief ran in a 1v1 situation. However, our core WvWers are heavily skewed towards roaming, and many solo roam.

We lost a number of roamers when we got stuck against T2 servers for awhile because they couldn’t find much roaming competition. Out of Attunement left and so did OINK/TLP/whatever they call themselves. Don’t recall if there were others.
