they have already repeatedly stated that there will be no new races added with HoT
ok, rule questions,
1. do we get to choose what race we are, if so Charr
2. im assuming magical talent will be in born not something you train to gain so how would the magical professions be sorted out, im assuming we wouldnt really get a choice otherwise there would be a massive amount of certain types of magic users, e.g. necromancers
3. would racial discrimination be more prevalent than what is viewable in game, while it can make for a good aspect of story i think most people would agree, even if we were transported to a fantasy world discrimination based on ones outward appearance sucks e.g. ageism, sexism, racism
just because the rightful king of ascalon is required to break the curse it doesnt necessarily mean that they then have claim to ascalon itself, likely if the curse is ever broken the human doing it would simply be doing so to improve relations with the charr by removing the ghost threat
mine finished in 5 minutes
o.O
looking at the mesmer specialization specifically i wouldnt be suprised if the main hand skills for each weapon change when you switch over to the specialization from Vanilla mesmer
NO CAPES!
>whoosh…splat< (sound of character sucked into airship engine)
^this
this made my day
i honestly only returned to the game after the tower of nightmares collapsed, so im a bit out of the loop on missing skins, any examples?
this is not about legendaries, but rather weapon set ideasthat you want, whether they are implemented via black lion tickets or crafting or simply a set you can find on enemies
personally with the fact that we are going to be heading back into the territory near the magumma bloodstone fragment i want to see a set based on the bloodstone it self, maybe a set that looks like some tribe broke off pieces of the bloodstone not quite knowing what it was and shaped the chunks into weapons. or a set inspired by the (what is almost certainly) updated mursaat look
these are just my person ideas but i want to hear what you all want, there is so much possibility for weapon design basis
finally got a response in game, thanks though vanthian
thanks, and yeah dont i know it, i keep getting to the seals but then i just get overwhelmed
i do and so far i haven’t gotten any responses but i will keep trying, i just figured that doing this as well couldn’t hurt
i realize that this may not necessarily be the place for this thread but here goes nothing,
im currently trying to finish prophecies in the original guildwars trilogy, and im stuck on the abaddons mouth mission, im looking for someone, Anyone, willing to help me out
im on the american english server 1
a quick response would be much appreciated
personally i liked scarlet, but other than that yeah exactly what he said
i don’t see why people have such a huge problem with these, do i personally like them, no, but from what i can see others quite clearly do. does this mean that because i dislike them someone else having them will ruin my gaming experience, no, i simply wont buy them. i get that for some people immersion is an incredibly important aspect of the game and seeing people who don’t quite fit with what they see as the way tyria should look can be a bit jarring but if you dont like the way the wings look, simply avoid playing with people who do. and lets face it if youre looking for immersion this is nowhere near the worst thing that could have been released.
I’m not really much of a hammer person but my personal favourite is the ugly stick
personally i like pyre but its really up to personal taste and how the dye looks on the specific skin
probably, but without confirmation that zhaitan can create his dragon champions from nothing, or that they are created from the corpses of some kind of lesser dragon species, all we can do is speculate. plus the idea that tequatl and his ilk are created from zhaitan’s body would explain the difference in size between lore and the game, from what we see, there are at least dozens of tequatl sized dragon champions but in game we only ever actually encounter four of them, again this is pure speculation and also incredibly unlikely
As for Teq… the fact that he is composed of flesh means he can’t be purely constructed, unless Zhaitan is capable of producing flesh and bone without any actual creature.
theres also the possibility that zhaitan’s champions, or at least the ones like tequatl, are formed from zhaitan’s own body, which from what i remember looks to be made up of multiple dragon shaped corpses
GW1 characters you want to hear about
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns
Posted by: shadowfanatik.5160
what characters from the original guild wars games would you like to hear about either via lore or the very unlikely possibility of running into them
ogden doesnt count as he is featured in parts of the personal story and living story episodes
personally i want to hear what happened to livia, vekk and evennia
taimi could alway incorporate M.O.X’s parts into Scruffy
i want a dagger that looks like brass knuckles called
kilroy’s facebreaker
also just for good measure, on a critical hit or killing blow it could have your character shout
KIIILLLLLROOOOOOY STOOOOOOONNNNNEKIIIIIIN!!!!!
personally i think it would be cool as a little easter egg point of interest or the name of the region/dungeon you find mordremoth in, also if the boss fight is handled via dungeon im begging that it doesn’t end up being another on the rails type fight, id prefer something more along the lines of the abbadon fight from nightfall, but on a much larger scale, possibly going inside mordremoth himself to finish the job
in the short story " what scarlet saw" after ceara is awoken by omadd she begins to glow red, and a small thorny vine wraps itself between her fingers, personally I’m hoping that this was evidence of Mordremoth beginning to gain influence over her, even if said influence was unconcious and neither party was aware of it, its quite possible that as scarlett descended into madness she realized that she was being corrupted and created her armor in an attempt to slow it down or hide it from those around her
I turn on my auto-run when I am checking the texts on my cellphone. I have lost count of the number of cliffs I have walked off of.
“Distracted Adventuring. Is it worth the risk?”
This message was brought to you by TATA. (Tyrians Against Texting & Adventuring)
this made me laugh so hard
personally I’m kind of hoping Mordremoth ends up being so big we kill him from the inside out, kind of like the giant worm from GoW2 only with less chainsaws and a more epic conclusion
Maybe turn his physical body into a dungeon
dawww thats just adorable
ive done stuff like that more times than i can count, its frustrating when its the last thing on a region you are almost complete but it always makes me burst into laughter
I admit that i wouldn’t have gotten a huge windfall from it like i would dusk or dawn but its just one of those things where looking back you’re like, “well it didn’t end up being a huge issue but i probably could have used the money”
For me it would have to be not realizing i got a precursor for a legendary and turning it into materials. I had just finished fighting a world boss, and recieved Rage as a piece of loot. not realizing what it was and thinking it was just another speargun I made the weapon accountbound for the skin and then broke it down into materials. this was back just after mawdrey was put into the game and i was grinding for bloodstone dust. Just realized what it was about a week ago and have been kicking myself ever since. I want to hear what has made you just sit there in realization “thinking wow that was stupid”
stories that while upsetting at the time you can now look back and laugh at yourself a little bit
