I love gliding everywhere I want to go, The AB maps are more engaging for me, and so many things still out there for me to discover and explore!
With the recent update- I recieved a free shareable bag slot, and FINALLY leveled my cute Asura ranger to druid!
Run around the maps some, there are happy people in game to ask your question to also

I do not. I had played quite a lot but had little accident with my hdd 2 months ago and now am on Linux on new ssd. That story aside, reading the website, googling for articles about GW2 current state and upcoming things (not many, noooot many) and reading recent metacritic user reviews for HoT throws warning signals all over the place.

Almost from every direction you get two impressions:
1. xpac is not worth it’s asking price and messed up a good game.
2. game feels abandoned by it’s devs while everyone pretends there’s no elephant in the room.

Now i don’t know how much of above is true, but i know it’s true that this the impression you get after hitting the internet and doing some snooping on how the game is doing.

So i don’t know about their weekly shows for their players, but it’s about time someone from A-net stepped up to the outside gaming media and let them know that GW2 is alive and what’s in store to keep it that way, because the rule of thumb is if they don’t talk about you, that’s prolly cause you’re dead or dying.

Erm.. You believe EVERYTHING you read on a gaming forum?
Play some, you will be pleasantly surprised (I hope)
GW2 remains MY favorite past time, and I will NEVER make a ‘chore’ of playing a game I won’t enjoy (My opinion of course)

As you can see by a majority of the responses to your question OP- (and this is my answer, not speaking for anyone else)- The build battle is a huge deterrent for me to even set foot near the raid portal! You can see the arguments and insults flying across the map chat. I personally can gain more fun and loot (again, just my opinion) By doing the metas in AB and some sweet Tequatl
Enjoy the game- I do!

The elder dragons have access to the thoughts of their ‘minions’, and in many cases, their minions were created before the dragon(s) awoke-
Wouldn’t the minions have a knowledge of the resurrection signet, Paragon yells, and old school Monk techniques in general?

Title asks my question..
Now that the story arc is heading towards the White Mantle from GW1, I was curious as to what happened to that huge floating eye ball we all lugged around in the original game.
It would zap anyone it found ‘worthy’, and they trailed us around until we unknowingly led them back into town, into the hands of their future executioners.
Last we saw of the monstrosity was when it perched back onto it’s pedestal in the middle of town. Your input will be greatly appreciated.

The hold-up here is the Leaderboards, which were supposed to arrive back on November 26, 2013. They even reset a lot of people’s progress back then, to prepare for them.

After over two years of waiting, I think it’s more than a “little late”. The fact that the devs actually attached the big Fractals reward to these non-existent leaderboards is, honestly, laughable.

I think your in the wrong thread? These folks are talking about a “legendary thingy” that was announced for HoT??
I think your looking for the QoL thread? or the other threads about WvW?

But, It does bring up a question:
IS Rytlock remotely related to the Khans blood line? Is there a possibility he is the next Charr ‘king’? What of the amulet of the royal family of Tyria? Does he have that item too? So many unanswered questions, with so many possible plots!

ALOT of posters are missing this huge little statement- This is just the FIRST update planned for 01/26/16- more are coming! Because your favorite section of the game hasn’t been mentioned in THIS heads up, doesn’t mean it won’t be addressed in future updates for 2016.
I’m sorry to come off like your mother, but the vitriol I see from certain players is very disheartening when another player posts of their pleasure to see something good going to happen for them!

Remember, the core team that created the original GW franchise have moved on…ANet is a whole new krewe- and they are still learning from their ‘mis steps’ (I won’t call it mistakes, they are still profitable). I believe they are intending to stroke the golden goose with add-ons, (similar to Factions, Nightfall) and LS updates, and down the road if all else ‘fails’, a GW3 where the core game is re created on the game engine used for GW2/ (Ok, that’s my pipe dream). All in all it is still win/win for us players because there is yet to be a game of similar attractiveness to be played. I enjoy HoT..sure, it’s a cruel teacher sometimes..I just adapt, and learn faster so I CAN enjoy the game play. Just my 2 silvers worth

I created him for the fact he has lovely broad sword animations, and he LOVES human clothing and culture! He’s a fun Charr, that realizes not all humans are meat bags waiting for a BBQ. As the world events change, and unite to fight the dragons…Charr are not ignorant to any weapon or skill usable at their disposal. That is a sin in their eyes.

What happened to ALL of Glint’s eggs she was so viciously guarding within her lair in the first game? Are they destroyed by Primordious and it’s minions after all?
Do the Dwarves save them, and hide them throughout the world (and possibly the Mists)
Did Krakky have a large omelet before killing their mother?

I too am an ‘Older’ GW franchise player! GW1 Factions/NightFall/ EotN + GW2 have been my main source of indulgence when my ‘RL challenges’ (ie. disabilities) Flare up hard. I see the love, and yes…the care that was placed into the beautiful worlds we all get to play in together. ANet- THANK YOU/ Keep up the great works, and have fun in your games too!!
