This is what I said almost a year ago on Dec 14, 2014. It’s unbelievable that after one year and after a major expansion, the pvp now is far worse.

It’s the only “competitive” league in the known universe where you must lose to get ahead.

pls read OP’s signature before accusing him of farming/exploiting. the system is a bloody hell of a mess where people wait an hour or more for a match once they’ve escaped the zoo that is amber and emerald div.

"Top “NA” teams" which should be reserved to one, have started to recruit someone with 0 pvp experience to get faster timers, they know who they are, and congratz to PZ and Mist Initiative to making the exploit more obvious .

Well it was fixed as of yesterdays* patch, so the only way to pip farm now is to pick up a complete fresh player or join one of the map heroes and carry them :P .

They were a day late with the patch and lot of the damage is done. NA roster disgust me and I’m not certain if it’s even possible to displace those teams.

I do know you spam blackgate hotm mapchat often….even before the leagues, lmao.

One thing is for sure. Top players in EU are nowhere near as GREEDY as NA. Just look at the difference in variety between the top 10 guilds from both regions.

The pvp community in EU is far more respectable.

But Their hardest counter is the warrior, and it’s always been the warrior. Warriors lack playtime atm but even the core rampage warrior would own any flavor of necro, be it core or Reaper.

That’s why I think necros are still not that great.

It shows “pro” level players can simultaneously be noob scrubs. He’s not really that good and hardly ever taken seriously. If only you remember how he got dragged on the ground by a 14 yr old in a 1v1 tourney. Funniest thing ever to happen to someone with an overinflated ego.

My own personal experience: Warrior is food for Reaper regardless of build.
But we each have our own playstyles and skill levels, so each to their own.

But you were talking about personality. However as an engi player myself I wish he’d go back to it, even on his stream yesterday he was on reaper.

Personality wise? I’d say sure, OE can be quite chatty in-game and on the matches I’ve fought along side with him. But he doesn’t scream. I chuckle when I hear Helseth scream.

Helseth is amazing on Mesmer and continue playing Mesmer no matter what the meta is.

This sounds like a good idea actually. At the very least, it could be a better measurement of personal skill and contribution. I think that would feel more rewarding for people.

Eurantien is an idiot ranger. Kinda shocking a tournament level player is unaware how warriors counter necros. What a scrub.

When faced with a team with multiple necros/reapers, I always swap to warrior. Back in the day I had a mace/shield and hammer build just for necros.

Thank you necros for giving my warrior purpose. But it does kinda suck that there are other classes/builds aside from warriors that hard counter necros.

Edit: Also a LOT of veteran warriors have rerolled or quit the game entirely. Once we get a buff, I guarantee a drop in reaper representation.

Just like there are lots of scrub pvpers, there are also lots of scrub developers. Only a few are great and they are in high demand.

If compare them side by side, EU meta is far more refined and optimized than NA. Why NA had more thieves than engineers, I’ll never know.

My ranked MMR is higher than unranked. There are lots of judgmental noob scum in unranked that measure skill through personal points and title. I got legendary champ title 2 summers ago but I don’t ever use it or judge someone’s skill based off it.

Can’t wait for Dec 1st.

Tempest would out heal the herald. If the point is capped by tempest, I’d go help my teammates secure mid first before engaging

I don’t waste my breath responding to attacks made by inexperienced people with big opinions. I am human though and as much as I try to avoid conflict, it really is very hard to hold my tongue when people rub in their personal score and title after they failed at executing basic rotations.

If I’m trying a new build, I owe it to myself to not look like an idiot by sporting any champ titles.

But even if they were on a new build, they should still be able to execute basic rotations and understand that personal score does not = skill. It’s unreal how many bird brain LC put weight on personal score and shun the value of bunkering and protecting a point.

Not all LC are bad but the title has definitely lost its luster and pretty much meaningless.

In game I have a general distrust for anyone sporting a Legendary Champ title. It’s like the new Champ Slayer no joke. Some of the scrubs still think personal score = skill. Meaning they are more skilled because they have more points from zerging and double/triple capping. The bunker that constantly defended one opponent after another sometimes being outnumbered is noob that sucks because look, he has the lowest points.

Complaining about gunflame is like complaining about losing chess to a Special Olympian. Laugh bi+ches

Abjured OP – they got Minstrel ammy removed which is something you and I could never do. Now that’s out of the way, this tourney is gonna be ez money for them.

Before the major June 23 update, warriors could run respectable condition builds.

Although they still suck at balancing, I will give them credit for the frequency of their updates. An improvement from pre HoT days

remember, anet has ambitious esportz dreamz. it’s pretty easy to manipulate them once you have their ears. just say a certain amulet will prevent them from reaching their esportz fantasies and they act on it pretty fast.

I remember when radioactive won a match with the 2 power necro comp. That was the best match ever. helseth said they wouldnt win due to the gimmicky nature of their comp. my was he wrong.
