Guild Leader of Chariot of Fire [FIRE] – http://christianfire.enjin.com
Proud Community Member of Northern Shiverpeaks – http://northernshiverpeaks.org
Our WvW core guilds bandwagoned off the server. Most went to TC. Some went elsewhere. Now, we are back to our original community-minded guilds, and working together to build ourselves back up.
I’d like to formally announce the recent additions of the Primal Fury [PF] guild and the No Quarter [NQ] guild to Sanctum of Rall! Having you both on our team has been awesome, and amazing fights have been had! You bring forth a certain level of character to our servwer, and we are very glad to have you among us!
I chose the mace. The mace goes quite well with my Hronk’s ascended shield on my Guardian for a Mace/Shield secondary heal set!
This is NOT a server that is dead in WvW! Check out this video, primarily of the Eternal Guardians [EG] guild. We are making it happen here, without the ego, and with more fun than ever! Thank you to the new guilds that have recently transferred over and have been contributing to our community! And congrats to those that won the weekly raffle and got their exotic rewards for Commander and Participant activity on the sanctumofrall.com website!
FIRE is growing strong. Regularly engaging Tequatl on a near nightly basis, and almost daily in WvW! Building up our Wvw AND PvE Base! Memer of Sanctum of Rall NOT required, but preferred. Will work as a guild to help farm gold for new members for transfer if you decide to move to SoR for WvW after joining up! We take care of our own! Not many Christian guilds out there that focus on each other, maintaining a family-friendly environment, and still as heavily invested into the server community as FIRE is!
Bumping! New members still accepted!
What Do We Offer?
Sanctum of Rall is not buying guilds. We do not want mercenaries. When a group of people move because of money, once the money runs out, their loyalties will go elsewhere. What we offer is a strong community that CARES about its members. We offer a community that desires growth and does not wish to be stagnant. Sanctum of Rall has a 350 member Teamspeak server that we utilize for WvW and PvE, and any guild that is on SoR can have its own home on this TS with full front-end admin capabilities over their own channel and sub-channels.
Additionally, our website at SanctumofRall.com hosts an assortment of information. Additionally, our new Commander’s On Deck application is an OUTSTANDING way to build the community! Sanctum of Rall wants to reward its members for their participation in the community! That being said, SoR now has a system in place for WvW Commanders to make pick-up events when they command on a map, share a code with their followers who in turn input the code on the SoR website, and they get placed into a raffle for weekly and monthly rewards! These rewards include 15 and 18 slot bags, exotics, superior seige, and whole sets of exotic armor! Additionally, SoR now maintains a leaderboard system that tracks WvW PPT during a Commander’s raid and has a point system that ranks Commanders and followers based upon their performance! Competition breeds activity! Activity breeds morale! Morale breeds fun!
In Closing
If you want to build a community, then Sanctum of Rall wants you. If you want a fun, competative WvW environment where you can assist in the rebuilding process, then Sanctum of Rall wants you. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact any of the following representatives of our community, who are also the SoR WvW War Council:

Our Goal: Community
Every server has their own niche they strive to reach. Ever since the dawn of the Sanctum of Rall, building a strong community has been the number one goal on this server. From the very beginning, guilds such as Gaischioch have hosted community-wide events, such as The Great Tyrian Adventure. Even now, after a fairly recent split off of the more hardcore/elite WvW guilds to what they perceived to be bigger, better pastures, our community is shining, and others outside our server are seeing it. Sanctum of Rall is not a server that is known to wear down, but one that sees his opposition, and through much sweat and tears, diligently pushes hard until we rise above. With the exodus of nearly all our main WvW guilds, our server has had to cling to the one thing that kept all of us together, and that was this community.
Community With Megaserver
Megaserver? Who cares. SoR will still support its own. Even to this very moment, our community thrives. We have community activities all the time! Every night, the Ethereal Guardians [EG] guild hosts a nightly Tequatl run, and they invite community members to join them. [EG] is known for having record-breaking times in their Tequatl runs, and they do so with all SoR members, rather than multi-server guilds pulling from across the other servers. Additionally, Gaiscioch [GSCH] still hosts a Community Guild Missions night, where anyone on SoR can participate and complete 4 different guild missions weekly. This is perfect for the smaller guilds that do not have them researched! Afterwards, the Commander takes the group into an awesome venture into the WvW Battlefield!
World Versus World: Phase 2
Wait, what? World Versus World? Didn’t all the WvW members leave? No, they did not. The guilds that left were guilds that did not attach themselves to our community. In Sanctum of Rall, we value the individual person more than a point on a map. That being said, we DO wish to improve our World Versus World skill and standings, but we intend to do it united as one, respecting each other, working as a team! With the exodus of our “first string” commanders, new blood have had the opportunity to rise up. New Commanders are on the map and old Commanders are coming back. Players that were shunned away due to the non-friendly environment prior to in SoR WvW are returning because our community has returned to what it once was. Every day, our skill is improving, and our team is working harder.
Hello all, I am Xivor, a representative of the Sanctum of Rall server community and a member of our WvW War Council. Today, I would like to share some information about our great server.
The History of the Sanctum of Rall
This server is not just an ordinary server. It is named after a player by the name Roger “Oldroar” Rall who suddenly passed away in his den late one evening. His passion in his last remaining years was Guild Wars 2. From researching the game through gaming websites to encouraging the founder of the Gaiscioch to make contact with ArenaNet, Oldroar took a passion for this game toting it to be the spiritual successor to Dark Age of Camelot and Warhammer Online.
Just weeks after his passing, Foghladha finally made contact at PAX Prime 2011 with Martin Kerstein, ArenaNet’s Head of Community. Foghladha and the Gaiscioch began on a quest to have Roger immortalized by getting a server named after him. After months of building up contacts and forging a relationship with ArenaNet the Gaiscioch amassed a “CookieZerg” in an attempt to get the idea across to ArenaNet and make their name known. Thousands of sugary treats made their way from all around the globe to ArenaNet’s Bellevue, Washington offices.
Time passed and relations continued and on July 10th, the Gaiscioch made one final attempt by sending out a Call to Arms to all past and present members and community members to write ArenaNet sharing their stories of Roger with them. Seven days later a notice arrived in Foghladha’s mailbox that there would be a server named “Sanctum of Rall”. This news sent a tidal wave through the gaming industry hitting the far corners of the MMO scene. It was reported on by blogs, gaming sites, newspapers, and even magazines around the world.

Growing strong but looking for more! Community is #1 here, and if your guild is community-minded and wants to engage with others in a friendly, fun manner, then we want YOUR guild! Message me to inquire if your guild is a good fit for Sanctum of Rall!
SoR is expanding! We have seen some new blood join amongst our ranks, and from what I gather, this is the home they have been looking for! Message me to inquire about Sanctum of Rall and why this can be a good place for your guild. In SoR, community is #1, and any guild that desires to build a tight-knit community is A-OK in my book!
FIRE is surely making its presence known on the battlefield! Still recruiting, both for WvW players on SoR or willing to transfer, but also for PvErs that desire the family-friendly, wholesome environment we strive to maintain as a Christian guild. We don’t ONLY do WvW! But when we do it, we ensure we have fun with it, and train new members as we go! But, we are also active in PvE, doing Guild Missions with a friendly larger guild, nightly Tequatl runs with another friendly larger guild, and much more. It is very normal to see us all leveling lower level characters together, adventuring out in Tyria, farming world bosses, or working towards legendaries. Visit our website at http://fire.rallians.net and see what our small Christian community has to offer!
Gained a few more members, slowly building up activity! Had some great WvW raids and Tequatl raids (with [EG])in the past few days! Participated in Sanctum of Rall’s community guild missions on Thursday, where everyone got the opportunity to run through 4 different guild missions (great for small guilds that cannot do them). FIRE has great relations with many friendly key SoR guilds, building up our server community!
SoR has gained some new blood from higher tiers, and from what I am told, they are loving the community and the friendly competitive atmosphere we have at SoR more than their higher tier servers! This is our foundation! We play for fun, play for community, and if we win, then we will win! This does not mean that we do not try, because our activity has been on the rise since community and friendliness has surpassed elitism. As always, we are looking to grow our community with friendly, community-minded guilds that want to engage in a growing WvW community that still understands what FUN is in the competitive battlefield!
Still looking for new blood! Looking for PvErs from ALL servers, both newer players or highly experienced! Looking for Sanctum of Rall members to rebuild our WvW community! Our small guild holds a very firm footprint in Sanctum of Rall, and we want YOU to be a part of it!
Still growing, but more room for community-minded guilds! Friendly, rewarding atmosphere for all! Getting ready for the season to end in order to balance out our WvW community and start growing again! Join us, and you are joining a family striving for fellowship and fun! If interested, message me and inquire as to how your guild can fit into our family here!

Recruiting from ALL servers for PvE! Recruiting for SoR for WvW! WvW training coming up for new members that want to learn the ropes and jump into the battlefield! Small community, family-friendly, focused on Christian ideals. Message me for details or visit http://fire.rallians.net for our website for info and to apply to our guild!
PM me with any questions! Ready to take in new guilds and new members into our family! Become a part of an awesome community rebuilding!
Still building up our community. Had some great fights tonight with BP and NSP. They could not tear us down. One thing SoR has is determination to succeed and dedication to our community! We may have had to try maybe 30 times to take our Hills back tonight, but we proudly pushed on until we achieved success! Join us, and join a community that will never be torn down! We have fought, we have conquered, we have fallen, and we are rising once again!
bump bump bump bump
bump, bump, bump.
Shameless bump. Still recruiting, but now from ALL servers! We are still working to build our WvW basis, so SoR members preferred for competative WvW!
Chariot of Fire [FIRE] – NOW RECRUITING NEW WVW AND PVE MEMBERS!!!
Chariot of Fire [FIRE] is a Christ-centered, family-friendly PvX fellowship that is located on the Northern Shiverpeaks server in Guild Wars 2. Originally created in 2007 in the first Guild Wars, the [FIRE] guild has a rich history within the Guild Wars community. Our members share a common goal: to enjoy the game in a God-honoring, family-friendly gaming environment. Our guild is based upon four major tenants that define us:
CHRIST-CENTERED: Our first tenant is Christ-centered gameplay. We intend to honor God in all that we do, whether it be in word or in deed, instilling our faith as we play by being an example to all of Jesus Christ.
FAMILY-FRIENDLY: Our second tenant is a family-friendly gaming environment. We want every person to play in a comfortable environment where they are free of excessive cursing, sexual conversation, trolling, and excessive rudeness.
FELLOWSHIP-ORIENTED: Our third tenant is fellowship. Our focus is to build up each other. We want members that that want to be part of a community that lives past the login screen of the games we play.
COMMUNITY-MINDED: Our fourth tenant is to be community-minded. We want to engage in activities with others on our server, as well as work together as a team with the others on our server, building community and cohesion on the battlefield.
Chariot of Fire [FIRE] is a WvW-centric PvX guild. What does this mean? It means we are not a WvW guild, so we are not considered hardcore and elite. However, we do more WvW than any other single activity within our guild, far more than a casual basis. We have multiple regular scheduled WvW raids, occasional WvW training nights, and many impromptu WvW havoc and pug support WvW activities as well. We regularly train those from within our guild that are PvE players or new-to-WvW so that they can enjoy WvW in a fun, coordinated, family-friendly manner. When not raiding on the battlefield, most of our members still engage in map completion, dungeons and fractals, living story, seasonal content, and many other PvE activities.
We will accept new members from ANY server, but those that wish to participate in our growing WvW sector will need to be on Northern Shiverpeaks or be willing to transfer to NSP from their current server. We are looking specifically for those that wish to participate in a community. We do not need the most skilled WvW players or those with the highest Fractal level. We want players willing to communicate, fellowship, and play together. We prefer players that are balanced in their game activities. 100% rep is not required, but primarily repping us is preferred.
If interested, visit http://christianfire.enjin.com. and CLICK “Join Our Fellowship” to fill out a membership application. If you have any questions, please contact any of our leadership team:

I am Xivor, and I approve this message.
In all seriousness, SoR did not have a chance to stabilize prior to the start of the tournament. Given our tumble, we never had the opportunity to land in the “sweet spot” for server transfers. Instead, we landed in the worst absolute spot.
However, there are dedicated people here. The community is not all gone. The remnants of what was a perceived shattered community have banded together to become a fairly formidable group in a short period of time. I am pretty certain that any server that has faced us in the past few months has had their moments where they can say “wow, SoR has surprised us”. We are may not be winning each round, but we are putting up a heck of a fight with 1/3rd the force.
I am proud of this server and its members. In no way will I ever consider leaving to any other server, even if we were in place 24 for WvW. If I was the last commander to tag up on the map, then so be it. This is home. And I hope there are more people out there (after the tournament is over) that want to make Sanctum of Rall their home, as well.

*Want a gaming environment that is driven by COMMUNITY?
*Want a place to play that you actually feel at home with?
*Want to play with people from all walks of life and respect you for who you are?
*Want to play with a group of gamers that still remember that this game is SOCIAL, not just for the ELITE, where fun and excitement meet accomplishment and competition in the middle?
Then Sanctum of Rall might just be for you. I am a proud member of this community since the game has launched, and the server would have to be dismantled by ArenaNet to get me off this server. If you feel like you are looking for a server community that is not disconnected, but instead is driven together by a sense of community that you cannot find anywhere else, then check out Sanctum of Rall. Guest with us during one of our Great Tyrian Adventure community events, or joins us as a guest for any of the other community events led by the amazing guilds on SoR. Or, help us rebuild our WvW community! We are looking for guilds of all time zones. Help us support our new commanders as they take on the enemies in the competing servers!
Check out http://www.sanctumofrall.com for more information. Feel free to message me in-game as well, as I would be happy to share my experiences with you further!
SoR is also in the process of rebuilding its WvW community. Our WvW community is being overhauled after recent departures, but do not be dismayed as many new faces are now embracing the battlefield of World Versus World. Our website located at http://www.sanctumofrall.com houses our WvW community forums and we also have a community WvW/PvE Teamspeak server open for all to use.
Our new WvW community is fresh, friendly, and open to all styles of gameplay (zerg, small guild group, 5 man havoc squad, roaming, etc). We have regular community WvW nights, with Commanders and guild groups hosting events open to all Rallians to participate. Additionally, we have WvW training sessions throughout the week for new WvW participants or for those that just wish to grow in skill and better themselves on the battlefield.
The current community of SoR is the tip of the spear when it comes to server loyalty. Those that are here take pride in this server and look forward to sharing that server pride and loyalty with any of you that wish to join our community.
I am just one proud, loyal member of SoR who has been here since day one. I am no one special. But if you would like more information concerning Sanctum of Rall, please contact me. I will be more than willing to share my experiences and give insight into the server that I am so dedicated to!
Funny thread. Had a blast farming EOTM with my SoR buddies all night. Was a shame when they took us back into EB to cap our undefended keep back in between EOTM matches. It wasn’t nearly as fun and rewarding as the other 5 hours of EOTM farming I did all night.
<<—-SoR up-and-coming Commander here.
SoR has its zergs. I will not deny that. At peak hours NA and peak hours EAU, I have seen SoR zerg it up quite a bit. However, two things I would like to point out: on average, when SoR zerg hits JQ zerg, its actually fairly matched in number. Moderate. However, when SoR zerg hits BG zerg, in number BG doubles, sometimes even triples us. I can always tell when BG is nearby…my FPS drops from 70fps to 3.5fps.
I tend to see more small groups from JQ than BG. I see [JINX] running small 5-10 person groups from BG, but that is about it. JQ seems to have a steady coverage of smaller groups across the map.
I do both …some times I run with the zerg, some times I lead small groups. I don’t always tag up; I only tag up when there is not another more experienced commander on the map already, or I have a following of 2 parties or more with me. I am still learning the ropes as a Commander, so I prefer to learn when I roll with them and apply what I learn in the off-hours. Overall, I prefer balanced gameplay. Just yesterday…and this morning, we rolled around in a 4 man group for the majority of the night, but we jumped around to assist the zerg in major attacks or defends as needed. That is just how we prefer to play.
Still broken on Sanctum of Rall. Only thing left in the zone for me to get, and I am closing in on 100% exploration…
Chariot of Fire [FIRE] is a Christian guild located on the Sanctum of Rall server and is a chapter of the FIRE Christian Gaming Fellowship, a fellowship of like-minded conservative Christians who love God, love each other, and love video games. The term “FIRE” is in in reference to the Bible verse “Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire.” – Hebrews 12:28-29 and is a tribute to our former GW1 guild Our God Is A Consuming [FIRE], where our roots were first planted. FIRE Christian Gaming Fellowship exists to bring together like-minded born-again Christians with the following goals:
TO PROVIDE A FELLOWSHIP….
FIRE Christian Gaming Fellowship is currently rebuilding after a 12 month inactive hiatus. Please excuse our dust as we start back at the basics and rebuild. After going strong in the original Guild Wars for many years, with temporary offshoots into the various Call of Duty and Battlefield franchises, FIRE Christian Gaming Fellowship move into an inactive status after Guild Wars 2 went live due to relationships with other former alliance guilds and the lack of in-game alliances in Guild Wars 2. recently, the core members of the original Guild Wars guild, Our God Is A Consuming [FIRE] have gotten together and have decided that we miss the focus in our gaming that the FIRE fellowship had always stood for. With that, we have recently revived the FIRE Christian Gaming Fellowship in Guild Wars 2 as the Chariot of Fire [FIRE] guild.
Our intent is the same as always: be a fellowship of like-minded Christian believers, focused in building each other up, honoring God, and ensuring a safe, family-friendly gaming environment. Currently, we are utilizing a Facebook and a Steam group for our online presence and use RaidCall for VoIP. We are primarily PvE and enjoy both simple leveling and daily/living story content, as well as occasional dungeons/fractals. We also have an emerging WvW presence, with myself as Commander as well.
FIRE Christian Gaming Fellowship has always maintained a selective recruitment process. We ask that anyone that desires to join our guild message our Guild Leader or one of our few Guild Officers in-game for an interview. Essentially, what we are looking for are as follows:
How did you come to know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?
We are a Christian-only organization and we desire to maintain this standard. Christian denomination does not matter, providing that a profession of faith / salvation experience can be shared.
What are your expectations of your membership with FIRE?
We want to be upfront with our focus and we want to understand the expectations of potential members. Obviously, for a member that desires to join with a single purpose of running a 100 person Christian WvWvW zerg on a nightly basis would not be an expectations we can meet. We want to facilitate a smooth transition and open communication between potential member and guild leadership.
Will you be willing to utilize all methods of communication and fellowship, i.e. RaidCall, website, repping FIRE in-game, etc?
We want members devoted to maintaining fellowship, and to do that, we must maintain communication. we understand that life is busy and not all gamers play video games every day, but we desire to maintain a certain level of communication amongst each other that builds each other up and helps each other grow.
If you desire to join the Chariot of Fire [FIRE], the Guild Wars 2 extension of the FIRE Christian Gaming Fellowship and you are prepared to be personally interviewed either in Guild Chat or in RaidCall, please contact the following to share your desired membership:
