Eura fighting the good fight up there. Rangers are not strong right now as our role has been spaced out by ele’s now. The only thing we have is a meh res utility that is very prone to interrupt and needs to be timed precisely for success. The only meta build we have is spirits which is single target condi attrition (which isnt even that strong in comparison to other classes). As for zerker longbow, its only good on maps that give you a nice terrain advantage (aka foefire) and even then its still super prone to getting bursted by literally every class as long as they los our longbow/condi us up (because one two condi clears, one being our heal, is just terrible).
TL;DR re-roll till anet gives us something in a year

Let’s look at the similarities:

- Bad player making troll posts
- Lies to himself to make himself feel better (read my signature)
- Has an average team and gets carried by 2 players on it while the rest are mediocre(skovex and vyndetta days)
- Thinks he’s gods gift to earth
- Makes claims before it even happens(saying he would win the legends tourney)
- Tries to talk smack when he can’t
- Is only 15 and probably goes to Disneyland all the time like sataa

Maybe uses an xbox controller too?

Consider the following:
1. I have beaten wakkey in many 1v1 situations, clearly my mechanical skill is higher than his.
2. I taught Rarby Jones all he knows of the warrior class.
3. I am also the son of rar inheriting his endless knowledge of rotational skills (also his cooking skills, but this is unrelated).
4. I taught all yall how to fractal-sport and we all know that takes heaps more skill than “esports”.
5. I was born in a mistpedia lab under “Project Espaht”, thereby creating the worlds most talented Esporter.
6. I am Rarzos the great, servant to the one and only lord Jararsus. Through his divine providence i reside over all as king of esports. My holy message MUST be taken into consideration as clearly I am the messiah of gw2 esports.

Honestly, this balance is just awful. Everyone gets insane amounts of burns, then you laugh it off with an rng generosity sigil proc that FULLY TRANSFERS the condi that transfers. Celestial amulet is far too strong for certain classes (d/d ele good god). Necro/engi/ranger condi death has gotten phenominally worse. I’m sure ive missed some of the obvious awful other builds ive yet to see (who can forget condi mesmer!).
3/10 for this balance, this patch overall is just a shot in the face to people who have been in the pvp community for a while, gg anet….gg.

Hello, me and some friends have recently been thru some tough times (bunker meta and decap engi’s mahn, whats up with that kitten). But we’ve decided to brave it and make a team. We have the core 4 (ranger, warrior, thief, guard) so we need a solid dps to fill the last slot. Team name to be decided (but will most likely be Quaggan Basketball Association [QBA]). We’d prefer an engi most like but have been thinking of other classes to fill slot (necro, mesmer, hell even an ele cough cough zoose).
If your interested you must meet these requirements
- Know proper rotations
- Know the mechanics of your class
- Have ts/mic
- Hate decap engi’s
- Generally be a good player (heehheheheheheh)

Hello there! I am the worlds best warrior Zach Stark ready to apply to the illustrious Good Fights Team:
1. My schedule is anytime as one must always be ready and willing for the esports.
2. A lil bit about me; I beat wakkey in a 1v1, catapulting me to worlds greatest warrior. Have always beaten Rar 1v1 but since he was so sad about it he will deny this FACT.
3. Ive played well over a hundred million games on warrior. What havent i done in this game? Ive succesfully 500-0’d backpack numerous times (not much of an accomplishment i know) Ive won every NA tourney to date (under pseudonyms of course) and have essentially been an esports messiah a.k.a. Jararsus.
4. My english has been rated number 1 by harvard professors and Blu, lets hope you can keep up.
5. I own all teamspeak servers everywhere, again not a problem.
6. As i said before ive won every tournament ever so dont even say rotations to me you plebian.
7. I was taught how to warrior by the great Jarasus and granted my abilities when i overcame the tyrant wakkey in 1v1, so i think i understand warriors better than anyone.

Hello, my name is Kizos Awan. I’ve been playing spvp for a little while now and have been more or less queuing with “pugs” in tpvp. After missing some tournaments due to lack of commitment, myself, Coffeerage, and Capt Crunch are forming a team.

We have 2 slots open for joining, at the moment the role of spirit ranger (myself) bunker (capt) and amazing multi-build warrior (coffee) are filled. No class requirements, please be above rank 35 and 18+ and a mature player who can be serious about playing and winning tournaments. Message any of us in-game for an invite to our tryout guild “Coffee and Cigarettes [CC]”. We will be playing with any tryouts on our main practice days of monday and tuesday from 8:30 PM – 2 AM EST. My team – Coffee and Cigarettes [CC]
We usually play nights and our roster varies from time to time, but were always out and about. I see Blacklisted [ENVY] still playing too.

Pretty cool idea, maybe there could be a trait that makes it stack with pets healing bonus or some such thing.

So i saw this post and i just HAD to say my piece. First of all, anyone claiming that this class is “broken” because you pressed the skill and it didnt work…..throw your unsubstantiated crap out of this argument and make room for serious discussion please. Pet damage (as said above) is better than before due to might stacking (companions might, second longest fire field in game, blast finisher from drakes/warhorn, pet swap might, etc.). And the Longbow is a WECLOME change for me; I can stack 25 vulnerability using it wisely with my bird pet. As for build diversity, yes to do the most damage you need a good chunk of points in marksman/skirmishing trees (like every other class in pve for high dps consistency) but people have anywhere from 10-30 points leftover that they use in whatever way they kitten well please and it can always work if you arent a fool. If you want to eek into a pvp discussion, our build diversity multiplies with condi builds! Look, this class and every other one in guild wars 2 takes skill if you want to use it right, but if you apply the skill this can be the most rewarding class out there. Ranger is a club for players who know what theyre doing, while the rest of the “rangers” whine and cry for buffs that end up only benefitting the good players anyway….

Sword is the rangers best bet for direct damage, but I find myself using torch (great at stacking might with an intelligent group) and warhorn (the 4 skills stacks tons of might on pet with RaO and the 5 skill is always nice for the boons) offhands more often. In reality, with a good group who uses combo fields to stack might and fury well, you can do some of the best damage in game if you play the class right (combining that with vigor uptime and survivability utilities) you can be a very good asset. The problem with rangers is people dont know how to utilize them (i.e. not using sword because they cant dodge at melee range therefore gimping their damage) and they are then judged harshly by the group.

We usually practice 10 PM EST going to 2 AM, we try to play most nights. But were flexible with times for now since were just beginning. I suppose the conversion is 5 PM GMT?

Coffee and Cigarettes [CC] has just begun its start as a solely PvP guild. At the moment we are recruiting people who want to take tpvp seriously as a team and pvp casuals to work as a way for people to form premades within the guild. We’ve only just started, but our hope is to create a core team of players to become one of the top teams out there! (bonus points if you join to kill ranko or yhip) P.S. I forgot to mention we are a NA guild!

I swear to shoot true, wave my sword low, and let my pets murder all. I swear to silence about my elite builds

First of all, ranger damage is not as abysmal as people say; and with companions might is has only increased because of consistent pet might stacking. A berserker ranger with sword/warhorn and piercing arrows (on shortbow or longbow) can do good sustained damage with the ranger having itself having a great set of utilities. We have a lot of survivability with things like Protect me, Lightning Reflexes, and our amazing traits for endurance upkeep and CC. As for burst damage, simply using warhorn 5 and QZ with sword can do amazing damage; doubly so if you use RaO with it for hellllllla might. And spirits are simply amazing; theyre incredibly strong in pvp and they have their uses in pve. The res spirit obviously has a place in dungeons and fractals for a clutch res, something ive used to pull groups through things like Lupicus and Grawl Shaman. The protection spirit and frost spirit can both be used if you simply use the new adept spirit health/proc chance trait, all you have to do is use placement. As for PvP pet damage, if you can use Guard and micro management they can do consistent damage. For example; i’ve seen the owl pet do amazing damage (2k hits with no BM points and consistent survival with guard since patch). All this patch has done is given ranger class a skill cap, otherwise you’re all free to continue sucking

Anet has finally given its player base a more challenging dungeon. No other dungeon requires such group coordination and im relieved to finally see this kind of content. I dont think any changes are necessary, and this is a great hint at what future dungeons/fractals are to come! Thank god for sky pirates

I’m a rank 31 pvper. Ive been pvping for awhile and ive found some consistent friends to pvp with but nothing serious has happened yet. I want to join a team who has the drive and skill to bring ourselves to the top. My pvp main’s are ranger, necro, and guard. Message me in game if ya have what im looking for

Well, I found a signet/BM build CAN work with LB. 30 points points is marksmen, 30 is beastmaster and the last 10 really depends on your style. I used them in nature for the regen duration, but thats only cause I used it in pvp. I used to use SB/LB with a 30/30/5/0/5 zerker pve build, but the current meta makes that not nearly as strong as other builds. In the end you can always make a build that you find fun, cause thats all that really matters. I can tell you that eagle eye and the bow CD reduction are both great traits for LB.
