After June patch, balance was in dangerous level.
At least, balance was recovering until Dec. patch.
I thought it ‘were’ matter of time to be balanced
even though they made us wait too long.

After Jan. patch, balance became worse.
I’m very convinced that they don’t have any clue.
They just observe builds in their e-sports
and nerf meta and buff unseen builds.

Nerfing meta is not complete failure.
But, how much they should buff unseen builds if they are unseen?
These unseen builds in e-sports were already common in in-game arenas.
And they ignored in-game arena
because their e-sports is much more important to them.

Nec should have nerfed with other metas
and people warned buffing thief should be cautious.

Why do people like Foefire so much?

It’s the easiest map to farm solo queue players on. It only takes a little coordination to down the keep lord, and this is really easy if you play with friends and or have voice coms. Don’t vote this map if you solo queue. You are begging to be farmed.

I agree.
Solo queue players have no chance at mid.
Without mid, we need home and far.
However, there is mid between home and far.

If you are queuing solo, do not vote for Foefire.
You will be outnumbered and hunted anywhere you go.

We are forced to play more than 3 classes in pvp league.
I see potentials from some candidates for 3rd class to play.

These candidates are Reaper, Revenant and Tempest.
Others are what I’m playing already or what I’m not interested in.
Usually I choose myself,
but I could not have much playtime after HOT release.

I know Rev and Chrono are meta in ESL team match
and they have been nerfed Dec. 15th.

Playing solo queue to Sapphire,
I saw more DH and Reaper than we see in ESL.

Have any suggestions for solo queue class tier list after Dec. 15th?

I hope you understand some people do not have much time to wait for teammates.

I am so sick and tired of hearing this kind of thing from unskilled players.. Trust me in high level play DD is by far the worst elite spec besides berserker. They need the dodges just like every other class needs their active defenses.. Argue all you want, all classes have special active defenses.. Unlike other classes thief dies in one hit without its dodge. So your complaints are silly. Mesmers with their invilns and stealths or guardians and their crazy dmg / tankyness/ infinite blocks. Warriors Rangers and eles all have a self invuln, higher health pool and better defense. This video you posted too isn’t proving anything.. I just watched a sub par thief fight a really bad Mesmer and come out on top almost dead.. How was he op? One wrong move and that Mesmer would have had him. So your telling me because a thief won a duel (God forbid) it makes them op? Wow.. Let me show you some really overpowered chronomanser gameplay that will make you cringe.. Thief’s should be able to win 1v1. They are not pets they are a class.. I am happy anet is finally seeming to care for them.

Then show me “some really overpowered chronomancer gameplay” you mentioned.
In this match, this Daredevil killed not only a mesmer.

There exist some casuals. Serious guys are OK.
Sometimes, we can see 2,3-player premade behaves going far together and killing a lone defender there.
They make their party just for easy kill as if they are ganking a lone quest-runner in open world pvp.

Chronomancer in current state should be a standard for balancing.
There are so many viable choices for mesmer traits now.
But there are some OP specializations among other professions.
Nerf anything stronger than Chronomancer and buff the others.

He informed that daze is unblockable.

And you know F1 is unblockable, right?
F1 connects to pull.

A-net does not want to maintain current profession balance.
We can see there will be many drastic changes in HoT.
In example, PU mesmers will have twice duration stealth.
And mortar will be a weapon kit that can be used in anytime.

Then, why can not conjured weapons be used whenever Eles want?
Why summoned elementals have limited durations while minions follow Nekittenil they are killed?

With soldier’s amulet, it was all right to face fresh air elementalists.
Air attune + Lightning Strike = Maul.
Just, sure hit Maul per 5 sec.
Nothing like eviscerate, final thrust or backstab.

Trinity is useless in PVP.
Players are immune to aggro.
Only AIs stalk tankers.
Perhaps, 1/5 among tanker class skills are useless in PVP.

I have a character who finished ‘Steel Tide’ (last one of Vigil tank storyline).
In launch-time storyline order, ‘Against the Corruption’ should be the next storyline.
Currently, however, It says ‘Victory or Death’ is next one.
It looks I missed from ‘Against the Corruption’ to ‘the Source of Orr.’

After patch, which one will be the next storyline, ‘Against the Corruption’ or ‘Victory or Death’?

PUG vs premade happens.
It cannot be an excuse that it happens rarely, even if it happens rarely.
It is not important that players don’t have accurate statistic data.
PUG and premade should never meet each other.
Sometimes, PUGs have disadvantages.

However, it’s a pity that you don’t share why some old systems have been made so.
PUG and premade should not meet each other.
Same mistake was committed when ‘Greatest Fear’ storyline was removed.
And these kinds of mistakes are terrible.

Just now, an idea popped in my head. (means it’s only a theory)
If we send no one to mid,
a few people to beast can be free 25 points (=50 seconds from mid).
After instant kill, these guys may check enemy number in mid,
and choose between mid and enemy side beast.

Just a theory.. People bunkering mid rest of the game. Happens. Gl with the PvE theorycrafting

People bunkering mid win because we have been crushed in mid and became outnumbered and rush to mid again and again.
This is the case giving up mid and trying only with superior number. (as described)
No defeat in mid, people alive and points worth 50 seconds.
If they sent everyone to mid, we kill their beast (another 50 seconds).
Else, we outnumber them at mid.
Considering this, still no interest?

One of my character played greatest fear and killed eye and mouth before update.
So, cleasing Orr should be later in the storyline.

Yesterday, I played personal story again.
After vigil tank, next story is ‘Victory or Death’ (kill Zhaitan).

Cleansing Orr part is gone.

They moved Cleansing Orr where Greatest Fear was.
Because Greatest Fear was played already, Cleansing Orr is gone for this time.

Someone changed this does not look like original storyteller who launched this game.

What do you think PVP on PVE maps?

Open world PVP was already proven to be an error.
Almost all NA MMO developers are well aware of this.
Only old Asian developers don’t know this.

In ‘Age of Conan’ or ‘SWTOR’, PVE servers are more popular.
‘PVE server’ means there is no PVP in PVE map.
PVP servers are preferred when he want to gank a lone quest runner with his friends.
But potential preys choose PVE servers, so there are no preys left in PVP servers.

Thieves(well, any berserkers) rely on first strike.
To them, PVP is something like FPS.
Berserker’s strategy: I hit you first, you die.
When a thief shadowsteps onto you, he activates their advantages such as venoms, quickness and signet.
After you break your stun, it is recommended to be defensive at that moment.
If you try hit each other, result is not good usually.
They prepared their setup to kill you in that case.
However, block in 1 skill slot can spoil their setup.

Give us back removed pet locations in Queensdale and Plains of Ashford.
Why only these 2 areas lost all pet locations?
Any other areas keep their pet locations.

During ‘Battle of Fort Trinity’, Orrian illusionists infiltrate into the Pact and try to steal Blue Orb. And the Pact recover the blue orb and uses it to defeat undead attack.
So, ‘power of the blue orb’ and ‘how the pact acquired it’ are necessary in storyline.
And ‘presence of Orrian spy’ is good to be explained earlier in the storyline.

It’s better to recover ‘Greatest Fear’ storyline.

To reach Orr, we should pass through ‘Sparkfly Fen’ or ‘Mount Maelstrom’.
Now, we have to pass through these zones without any storyline and this travel can be very boring.

Same thing happens to ‘Cleansing Orr’ storyline.
Now, Chapter 7 is in deepest zone of Orr and forces players to run through ‘Straits of Devastation’ and ’Malchor’s Leap’ without any storyline.

Now, ‘Cleansing Orr’ precedes ‘Further into Orr’.
Trahearne should go ‘Futher into Orr’ to/before ‘Cleanse Orr’, right?

Rank 20+ guys from hot join are still not so helpful in TPVP.

In hot join, people just wait and join the winning team.
And some of losing team members desert.
Almost every time outnumbered fight.
Multiple people stay on the points to capture.

It can be better for people to try TPVP early.

Why don’t you just play WvW?

Mist maps have vistas and events already.
What’s the difference?

You just want to gank a lone quest runner with your friends.
That’s the point, right?
But, no. you can’t.
Because quest runners can choose PVE versions of maps.
You will face same guys such as yourself.
Then, it’s same to WvW.

What GW2 lacks is 1vs1 dueling.
But open world PvP is redundant as long as it has WvW.
Open world PvP is an out-of-date format.
It ruined some MMOs because it repelled newbies.
Nowadays, other MMOs introduced PVE servers and they are preferred to PVP ones.
No one want to be ganked while they are running quests and unprepared.
